The Co-operative Childcare set to open door to new families in September

The Co-operative Childcare is opening the doors of some of its nurseries this September to showcase the skills and services it has to offer to prospective new families.

The participating nurseries will be inviting new parents to take a look around the setting, meet colleagues and ask any questions they may have. There will also be activities for the children to enjoy while the parents get to know the team.

Mike Abbott, Group General Manager at The Co-operative Childcare, said: “Our open days are a great opportunity for parents and children to really get to know what we’re all about.

“We know that choosing a childcare option can be a really daunting experience for parents, which is why we have our excellent team of colleagues on hand, to talk them through any questions they may have. The children also love getting to test all of the toys and activities, while mum and dad are looking around.

“But most importantly, it’s a chance to experience the great work our colleagues do, in a completely natural environment. You can see first-hand the room your child will be learning in, the colleagues who will be teaching them, where their meals are prepared and the kinds of toys and books they’ll be interacting with. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get to know us.”

Mike continued: “We’re very much looking forward to the new opportunities the second half of 2015 will bring and to seeing all of the new faces through the doors of our nurseries.”
