Dolphin Bracknell Nursery celebrates National Child Safety Week

Preschool children at Bright Horizons Dolphin Bracknell Nursery have celebrated National Child Safety Week by taking part in a variety of activities, as well as understanding the purpose of the week.

Activities included photography and taking photographs of the outdoor area, in order to create a garden checklist for the children to use twice a day.

Staff also held a discussion about road safety with the children, which led to a role play on lollipop people outside.

The children also spent time playing a Candy Floss pairs game and the different pictures that appeared throughout.

“We always enjoy taking part in National Child Safety Week, with safety being an integral part of all of our education programmes,” said Nursery Manager Julie Stretton. “This year we had a fantastic week packed with a variety of fun, exciting and informative activities. All of the children had a great time and our health and safety mascot Candy Floss was on hand to help keep us safe at all times."
