Overall Experience

My daughter has settled in so well here. She had a few weeks of finding her feet, but the staff were really nice, supportive and helpful, and now she loves it and is happy! I feel happy and confident leaving her for the day. She has really become a social butterfly. The nursery is clean, and the staff

love what they do.

Overall Experience

Fledglings Day Nursery is by far the best nursery in the local area. I have two children who attend full time so have really experienced every room and its staff. The care and compassion shown by the team is genuine, and I feel that my children are well understood. It is a purpose built building so

everything has been carefully thought out from toilets to sleep rooms. My children enjoy the meals, and most importantly, are happy and safe. The management is wonderful and communication is great - I like how they use the app as I am able to keep up to date with how my children are doing throughout the day. Staff are always willing to listen, and if issues arise, management are proactive to work in partnership with families to embed change and encourage growth. I like that there are regular inset days too as it means the nursery is dedicated to upskilling their staff which in turn impacts my children's learning and development. As both a parent and Early Years consultant, I highly recommend!

Overall Experience

The nursery is still fairly new and everything seems to be in a really good condition. The outdoor play area is quite spacious and well equipped compared to other nurseries.
My child needed extra attention and the staff provided it as much as they could. My son built a strong bond with his key person

and loved the staff in general. The only negative aspect I would mention is the high turnover rate that was probably the impact of the general lack of professionals in this area which was exacerbated by the increased cost of living.
The application used by the nursery is quite good and the staff provided frequent updates that we really appreciated.
We also had the feeling that our child is in a secure environment and any injuries, incidents were immediately communicated to us regardless how "small" these were.

Overall Experience

I cannot speak highly enough about Fledglings Nursery. My child attends the nursery and has from a young age, and as a premature baby, his nursery care was something very important to me. Fledglings have been there every step of the way to support their care and development. This includes putting in

place detailed care plans for any medical needs and also reassuring me of their development alongside children their age. They balance educational development really well with emotional development and make sure the children have engaging activities plus being able to be children and enjoy play. If we choose to have another child I would definitely enroll them here as well.

Overall Experience

Excellent nursery. The information they provide daily to the development overviews. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The staff are all excellent and we struggle to our son to leave at the end of the day. The kids are always kept busy with endless activities and learning tasks.

Overall Experience

My son started at Fledglings Romford in April 2024 at 10 months old and I am so impressed with our experience. As a teacher, I was initially looking for a term-time nursery however, after visiting a few different nurseries I felt the most comfortable getting a place here and paying all year round. The

space is modern and the garden space is lovely! I could see the progression in rooms to prepare the children for school. The communication with all staff has been exceptional which has made it so easy to get him a place, settle in and be updated on how he is getting on. The commutation about tax-free childcare and funding has made this so easy as well. He absolutely loves going, and clearly has a great bond with the staff - reaching out for them to take him in the morning which means I can go to work with no worries. He naps well there (much better than at home), eats all his meals which have a great variety, and gets to do loads of activities.

Overall Experience

Fledglings Early Learning Center is a wonderful choice for young children, offering a safe and nurturing environment. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with interactive classrooms and a fun outdoor play area. The staff are exceptional, showing genuine care and attentiveness to

each child, fostering both learning and emotional growth.

The play-based curriculum strikes a great balance between structured learning and free play, encouraging creativity and foundational skills in language, math, and social development. Safety is a top priority, with secure entry, child-proofed areas, and well-trained staff.

Communication with parents is strong, with daily updates via a parent app and regular progress reports. Meals provided are nutritious, though more organic options would be a welcome addition. While a bit pricier, Fledglings offers excellent value for the level of care, making it a highly recommended nursery.

We had a wonderful experience with Fledgelings Nursery over the past 2.5 years. From her early days in Babies to Toddlers and then Preschool, our daughter has grown and thrived beyond our expectations. The nursery provided a nurturing environment where she learned a lot through a structured curriculum

and diverse activities. The exceptional care and attention from the staff were standout features. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate, ensuring she had nutritious meals and regular updates. Our daughter made many great friends, and the frequent photos and feedback helped us stay connected with her progress. Overall Experience

Decent nursery. The children love the staff. The app works really well in communicating with parents.
Generally, better care of each individual child would be ideal. When you go to the nursery, the babies seem to be sad or have had a bump or some sort of accident, are soiled, with food down them. This

may be a symptom of how stretched the staff are.
Attrition seems high, which is less than ideal for the children.

The high staff turnover in our organization has become increasingly concerning, as it creates an unstable environment that affects both employees and the children they serve. Some staff members appear disengaged and unhappy, a sentiment that inevitably seeps into their interactions with the kids. The

tone of voice used during activities can often be flat or lacking enthusiasm, impacting the overall energy in the room. This disconnection not only undermines the staff's ability to foster positive relationships with the children but also disrupts the nurturing atmosphere that is essential for their growth and development. Addressing the root causes of this dissatisfaction is crucial to rejuvenating the team spirit and ensuring a more vibrant, supportive environment for both staff and children alike.

Both of my children have attended Fledgelings and I have nothing bad to say about them. I trust the staff completely and the environment they are in. I am happy with the values they have instilled in both of my children, who are now confident in their move to big school. I highly recommend this nursery

Overall Experience

We are thrilled with the exceptional quality of care and education provided by this nursery. It meets the diverse needs of all children, including those with special needs, through dedicated and tailored support. The nursery has significantly enhanced our child's learning development and fostered a

positive attitude towards education.

This nursery has worked wonders for our child, giving him a fantastic head start before entering infant school. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their roles. The SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team is outstanding, arguably the best in the UK. Our child's key worker is particularly exceptional. Her passion and dedication have made a tremendous impact on our child's progress.

One area for improvement would be retaining the excellent staff. High turnover can be a concern, so we urge the management to offer competitive pay to retain these valuable team members.
