Overall Experience

I am happy extremely happy with my decision to put our daughter in the Haven nursery - staff care. I feel at peace and confident they provide the best care to all the children. My reason for choosing this nursery in the first place is when I saw how well and supportive they are in providing care as

well as education to children who are still developing. I've used this nursery since 2009 when my firstborn started attending Haven Nursery. Great staff, good atmosphere and my children loved it here, including the one at present attending their day care.

Overall Experience

Absolutely amazing nursery! My child loves it there and loves going. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, they are brilliant at informing you of what your child has been doing, any incidents and general information on what your child has done during their session. They also change key workers

depending on who your child is closer to, which I think is thoughtful and helps with your child's learning. The rooms they have are full of toys and books and everything your child needs for their development. They have an outside space that is enclosed which my child loves. The security to enter the nursery is top quality and amazingly reassuring. They are great at communicating with parents if there are any issues in the nursery. They have up to date policies and procedures and also a covid procedure that fits within government guidelines. Top-quality nursery!

Overall Experience

My son has been attending the nursery for 7 months now and it was the best decision. The relationship he has with the team and the other children is amazing. When sending him in each morning, he is always eager to start. His speech has really grown also. He has learned in this time to count, colours,

nursery rhymes the list goes on! I love when I pick him up and he sings a new song he has learnt. I would highly recommend The Haven!

Overall Experience

Our son has been going here since 2020 and has recently progressed into the toddler room, we couldn’t have picked a better nursery for him to go to. The nursery staff are very friendly and easily approachable! Since being at Haven nursery, our son has really blossomed and always looks forward to going

to nursery and especially seeing one member of staff, in particular. Highly recommend anyone to attend this nursery with their little ones! I just only wished they used the parents' app a lot more as it’s always great seeing what our little one is up to.

Overall Experience

The Haven staff have helped build my son's confidence. He is learning so much and his language is amazing for a 2-year-old. The activities, field trips and even snack times are well thought out. My son loves it so much, he runs straight into nursery each morning, without a backwards glance! Over the

time he has been there, I have changed the days he is in, due to my working schedule and they have always been so helpful! I would recommend the nursery to anyone in and around Portsmouth. 5/5.

Overall Experience

Highly recommended. Every time I picked up my boys I was told everything down to how much lunch they have eaten, to sleep time, poo and what they played with. All staff members know all the children, not just the ones in their rooms. They are so friendly and always laughing and playing with the children.

My boys always wanted to go to nursery, I never had to force them. Once I drop them off, in the nicest way possible, I hardly think about them because I know they are safe and well looked after! They celebrate and teach the children about all events throughout the year and include main caregivers to come in and join them. They were amazing at maintaining toilet training and the snacks are healthy and a good portion. When both my boys were there together, they used to ask the oldest if he wanted to come to the baby room and have playtime with his brother, also giving him the opportunity to help feed him. The children here are very well looked after and the staff are highly trained.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending The Haven nursery for 3 years and has always been happy there. The staff are all amazing and approachable if you need to discuss anything. They have an excellent home from home setting and all the kids seem to be so excited to go in every morning. I would recommend it to anyone

and am already dreading having to say goodbye when my son starts school in September!

Overall Experience

My two youngest daughters both attended the Haven nursery, combined - 6/7 years of amazing care! From day one, the nursery was welcoming and such a happy place to be! The staff are incredible and became not only carers, but friends and family to my daughters. They still get excited every time they walk

past and remind me of all the happy days they spent there. Highly recommend it to local families.

Overall Experience

I have two children at this nursery, my son started aged 8 months and is now 4 and my daughter has recently started at 9 months. The nursery facilities themselves are great, having had one child go through every room, I have seen first hand, the equipment and resources available for each age range,

the garden area is amazing, particularly for an inner-city nursery. It is great that they have an option to play outside which I know they do daily. All of the staff and management team are friendly, approachable and professional to parents and my children have formed great bonds with them. They are extremely supportive, helpful and caring. My children have never been bored at the nursery and have made great friends. I think their price is very reasonable for what they provide. Cannot recommend it enough. I will be sad when my son leaves for school but pleased that they offer holiday clubs and that my daughter will remain part of The Haven family.

Overall Experience

This nursery is amazing, it’s a lovely, safe and well-run environment and I wouldn’t have my child anywhere else! The staff are exceptional, very welcoming and informative about everything that happens with my child. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery! The facilities are excellent and they have

Overall Experience

Droitwich Salvation Army Pre-School is an amazing nursery. They not only help children but do a lot to support the family to. Cannot recommend this place enough, my boy started in 2019 if I'm correct and my girl is now there. I was so glad I made the choice to move him, he couldn't really say much when

he started, then within a few months I kept hearing him coming out with new words. The staff are always taking the children out on walks to the park.

Both of my children have attended Droitwich Salvation Army Pre-School, they both have learning difficulties. The staff have coped amazingly. The support they offer not only to children but to parents also is outstanding. It will be emotional having to say our final goodbyes in July. They have become

more like family to me.

Overall Experience

This nursery has done wonders with both of my children, my eldest is autistic and has non-verbal behaviour issues with frustration. The nursery handled him perfectly and treated him with great understanding. My youngest child still attends and I have seen a massive improvement in his speech and kindness.

I can’t think of a better nursery to send my children to.

Overall Experience

Droitwich Salvation Army Pre-School have done so much to help me and my son. I would highly recommend, they are all very friendly and easy to approach for if you have a problem. My son absolutely loves it he doesn't even say bye anymore, he just runs in. Extremely helpful.
