My little one started in the baby room at 10.5 months old after finding another childcare setting very difficult. She has always loved being at Mama Bears, and gets very excited about attending each time. The staff are really lovely and communication has always been very good. Management has always
been very helpful and easy to talk to.

My son has been at Mama Bear's Day Nursery since he was 7 months old and absolutely loves going to nursery! He's well looked after and is thriving in all areas, socially, educationally and emotionally. The only downside is the lack of care arrangements from 5-6pm due to staff shortages which means little
consistency with key practitioners. That said, I appreciate that this is an issue that cuts across the industry. The management is great, proactive and friendly. Thank you team Mama Bears!

My child has been coming to the nursery for 1 year.
She loves to come and is always happy at drop off and pick up.
The staff are wonderful, and Hannah feels safe and happy at all times.
Communication is excellent. An online portal is always updated, so we can see what she is up to.
We are extremely
happy with the level of care and will definitely recommend it!

We are very happy with the attention and amount of creative activities they do throughout the day, and they keep us updated through the app which is useful. Our daughter is very happy there and she is very comfortable with the members of the staff and the other kids. The early 5 pm is a challenge some
days so we are hoping they find the extra staff they need to cover a later pick-up.

My daughter only started a few weeks ago but I can see she enjoys it when she is at the nursery. Love that they also have an outside play area and inside plenty of facilities for kids. Staff including the manager are really friendly, helpful and attentive.

I am extremely impressed with this nursery and feel confident leaving my daughter there. She started when she was 8 months old and her development since being at this nursery has been remarkable. She comes home speaking sign language, singing new songs, talking about new books she has read and her speech
has developed massively. It is clear the nursery workers are all trained to industry standards and they are all genuinely lovely and are really invested in my daughter's development. We get daily updates on the app so we can see what she has been up to. My daughter has specific dietary requirements and the nursery has been fantastic and so thorough in ensuring she is catered for appropriately. Communication is great between the nursery and parents and as a parent I feel confident my daughter is safe, developing well and generally having a really fun, happy time at this nursery.

We are overall very happy with the nursery. The staff and caring and friendly. I get regular updates about my child's progress and love receiving photos every day. The nursery provides a range of activities to suit my child.
Unfortunately, the nursery has been limiting the hours we originally signed
up for due to staffing- this has made juggling work and nursery care very tricky for the last few months and it is affecting our work-life balance as work is having to be done on a weekend to make up for missed hours.
Our child's name is sometimes spelt incorrectly on their work and personal things they bring home.

Without this nursery I would be unable to work, the team enables me to leave my child knowing he is safe and having fun. I think as mums we deal with a lot of guilt with putting our children into childcare, it definitely makes me feel at ease and allows me to focus on work while I'm there. Staff is
lovely. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We have had the best start possible with this nursery. Absolutely loving seeing our son grow here and getting to know the staff. It has felt very easy to feel settled and at home for all of us! We appreciate the care and support for our son that the staff have shown, and the creative fun they provide.
The regular updates on the app really are really useful in keeping up to date with his day at nursery and phone/e-mail communication is always excellent!

My son loves going to Mama Bear's nursery Shirehampton. All staff is very friendly and have helped him get settled in and become more confident. He loves playing indoors with all the different toys and varied activities and going to the garden with his wellies. As parents, we really appreciate very

We are really impressed with the nursery, this is our first child and first experience with a nursery. Everyone is great, the team get on really well with our child, and we feel that we have great communication from everyone working at the nursery. Really nice place for your child to go to nursery.
They try to do a great range of activities and are keen to get the children outside to play, which we love.

Having started our son at the age of 8 months, we were initially very apprehensive about the return to work and imminent nursery enrolment. That said, the Totterdown Mama Bears team could not have been more supportive and kind in easing any worries or apprehensions we had. The kindness of the baby room
staff and nursery manager has been amazing in making our little boy feel happy and at ease. The facilities are great and the daily access to the outdoor and soft play area is really special. Big thank you to the team.

Our little girl's first 5 months at Mama Bear's Fishponds have been fantastic!
The staff here have been incredible in helping her settle in and making her feel right at home. It's clear she's thriving with them and loves her 3 days a week here, as she practically leaps out of my arms and into theirs
on arrival and is always smiling and laughing when I pick her up.
The daily updates on the app were a lifeline in the beginning, offering reassurance during those early days. Now, they're a lovely peek into all the fun-filled activities... From painting and colouring to bug hunting and gardening, and that's just the past few weeks. While some might think nurseries don't do much in baby rooms, this place proves them wrong.
Overall, we're thrilled with our choice of nursery. It's become a place where our daughter flourishes, thanks to the caring and dedicated staff. Thanks to the manager and everyone else for making her time here so special!

I would be very happy to recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Thicket Avenue) to other parents. Our daughter started the nursery in the baby room and is now in preschool. This is the only nursery setting that we have experienced and we feel so lucky to have got a place for our daughter here. As she has
grown up, the team at Mama Bear's have helped our daughter to grow in confidence. She has been encouraged and supported to develop key practical skills, which has really helped with transitional phases, such as potty training. The staff clearly put a huge amount of work into the range of creative and educational activities. We receive regular updates and communications about our daughter's development and feel confident that she is being prepared in the right way for school. Our daughter always skips into nursery with a smile on her face and talks about nursery fondly while at home. Thank you!

Such a wonderful setting. My son is 3 and has absolutely loved it there from day one. All the staff are really friendly and know him very well, and as a result he is more than happy to run in each morning. They have lots of resources and outdoor space, and we get plenty of updates on an app throughout
the day, showing him doing lots of educational activities as well as messy play. His language and skills have really improved with their help, and he will be more than ready to start school thanks to all their support. This is truly such a lovely nursery and I'm more than happy to give them a top review.
