Evolution Childcare - Head Office & Training Academy is dedicated to top quality childcare, skilled in looking after all pre-school age ranges and helping them to develop.

The proprietors Rob Jones and Sue Jones have considerable experience working with children. Rob Jones is an ex Liverpool FC and England Professional football player and Sue Jones is an ex-professional Tennis Coach who is also a qualified NVQ 4 Nursery Nurse. They are also parents themselves, and have brought together enthusiastic, dedicated staff whose childcare credentials are second to none.

At Evolution Childcare all staff are highly trained and receive specialist in-house staff training throughout the year to maintain outstanding standards of quality childcare education.

My child absolutely loves attending the abbey nursery. We spend many evenings going through what activities have taken place in attendance. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They have worked with my child to grow their confidence, working on behaviours, language and motor skills and i have been very
proud in seeing how far my child has progressed. I am kept very well informed of any issues that arise as soon as they happen, such as minor accidents and illness - always a phone call as soon as possible. The children are always put first, there is a focus on hygiene and security is paramount. I particularly enjoy the end of day notes and conversations during pickup that run through the important events of my child's day such as foods eaten and amounts, timed naps and wet/dry nappy count. Each classroom is designed well for their particular aged children. Nursery fees can be expensive but the Abbey do what they can to keep costs down.

My child has been happy since starting here. He's come on well in his speech and seems very happy with everyone there. Food is made fresh daily and has a variety of vegetables. He never comes home hungry as they have afternoon tea / snack around 3pm.

Both of my children have loved being at this nursery. My youngest is in Reception at the nursery and I cannot fault it. The staff are wonderful, especially two staff members in particular. They are wonderful with the children. My little boy loves them.
The manager is also great, flexible and accommodating
when I need to make changes to our usual hours.
The nursery is clean, bright and full of smiling welcoming faces.


The only slightly negative thing I will say is that neither of my children have ever been taken out of nursery for any trips, despite me having signed forms to approve of this.


However, this is only a tiny niggle and overall I would give The Abbey 5 stars, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any other parents looking for somewhere to send their children.

My little boy has started at the abbey this month and we are so happy with the progress he has made already. The staff are amazing especially in the reception room. My little boy loves going to nursery now and loves going to see his teachers. Thank you so much to the abbey!

I can't recommend this nursery enough. The environment is lovely, the staff are brilliant at what they do and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds in the past 18 months she has been at the nursery. She is always happy to go in a morning and can't wait to see her friends and even the staff!
I will
be sad when her journey ends here.

Amazing nursery! My eldest son came here from 9 months until primary school 6 years ago, they were so wonderful with him that my 14-month-old has been full-time since he was 6 months old. Both of them have had milk allergies and The Willows have always accommodated that perfectly. Both my sons have
been so happy and the staff are amazing.

We love The Stables Nursery, what's more is that our two girls love it. They have thrived at the nursery and are both developing really well. They have great imaginations, are creative and learning lots of new things. My youngest just had her two-year review and it was clear that she is developing exceptionally
well in speech, comprehension, social skills and confidence. The staff are wonderful and are so caring and supportive to the girls as well as to us parents. I feel very comfortable talking with the staff and they have helped me carry the girls to the car. They have offered weekend events which staff have supported at which shows the dedication of this team.

Amazing nursery! Our little boy currently goes to Kalgarth and absolutely loves the setting, at such a young age too (just turned 1). The practitioners are all very professional, caring and compassionate when it comes to looking after the children. There is a real family feel to the nursery and it's
clear the staff are all one big team. We have received daily updates of what our little one has got up to during his day, all the varied and fun activities along with photos! It's such a reassurance and comfort especially as working parents, to know they are happy and feel part of their day. Our little one has come along leaps and bounds too - they have supported him at each stage I.e. crawling, walking, communicating - and really encouraged his development through active play for each milestone! Feel really grateful to have a setting he feels so comfortable and happy in, and genuinely looks forward to going each day.

This is an amazing nursery with amazing staff. All the staff are so kind, caring and supportive. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and has learnt so much since being at The Stables. The nursery manager arranges lots of events for the children which makes it even more fun, even a sports
day too where the adults could join in! This nursery has also been really accommodating with my partner's shift patterns which we are extremely grateful for. Both my partner and I would highly recommend The Stables Nursery.

My little boy has been coming here for over a year, and we love it! The staff were patient and consistent when he was settling in and never rushed him, he now runs in and barely says bye to me at the door, I leave him knowing he is cared for like he is at home. He has come on so much in his confidence,
