Overall Experience

I can't say enough good things about the manager and her staff at this nursery. They have truly been a blessing in my life, and I am forever grateful for their exceptional care and dedication. I was in a difficult situation, having to find a new nursery for my son due to unforeseen circumstances, but

choosing this nursery turned out to be the best decision I could have made.
One of the things that sets this nursery apart is the wide range of activities they offer. From dancing to museum visits, library trips, and excursions to the park, they ensure that the children have a diverse and enriching experience.
Most importantly, my son was genuinely happy here. I can still remember the excitement on his face every morning as he eagerly ran to see his friends and teachers. The love and attention he receives from the staff have played a significant role in his overall development.
They have exceeded my expectations, and I am forever grateful for the positive impact they have had on my son's life.

Overall Experience

My son has thrived since going to this nursery. The staff are lovely and take the time to talk me through his progress every day. Lots of activities with the kids too.
I was worried about my son going to nursery, but the staff were really good at putting my mind at rest, and it has been the best thing

for his development so far.

Overall Experience

Both my daughters have attended this nursery, and we've had a wonderful experience. They've looked after both of them so well, and it's lovely to see how their confidence has grown from the baby room upwards. Lovely to follow photos of them in the learning journals. They've loved their trips to the

museums, parks and library; great that they get outdoors so often. Staff are all so friendly and helpful and very caring towards the children. We would recommend Somerset to anyone!

Our daughter had a fantastic time in first the baby room and then the toddler room. The staff were all very friendly and developed a close relationship with her. They were good at keeping us updated and responsive to her needs as she grew up. We really appreciate their trios to the park, museums, the

Chinese New Year parade etc.

Overall Experience

We are delighted we chose Somerset Nursery - Fitzroy as our nursery! Our daughter attends nursery full time, and so it was really important to find a nursery where she is happy and cared for, and Somerset definitely meets these requirements. The staff take such good care of her, and her development

since she started in August has been incredible to watch. The learning journals have given us a lovely insight into her progress and her day to day activities, and the parents’ meeting showed us how well the staff knew our daughter. We love that they visit the park, the library and the museum. The fact that lunch and snacks are included also makes it a great value. We have already recommended Somerset to several friends and will continue to do so. We’re so grateful to have found such a great nursery so close to home!

Overall Experience

Our experience with Somerset Nursery - Fitzroy is outstanding. Our baby boy started in March 2021. The staff could not be more welcoming, encouraging, helpful and are completely engaged and invested in your child. This is clear from the daily interaction we have with staff, online journals and parents

meeting! The activities are fantastic and our boy has developed so much since being at nursery and we believe this is largely down to the nursery itself. I love that not just the staff who look after our boy daily know him but the rest of the staff at the nursery also know him which makes it feel like a very warm and friendly environment. I highly recommend this nursery!

Overall Experience

My wee one has been attending the baby room at Fitzroy for more than four months now, and she absolutely loves nursery days! The teachers strongly encourage and cheer for her when she is trying to achieve a milestone/development (eg trying to stand). What I love most about the nursery is that the teachers

make sure to notice what the children notices, this is really important for the development of their interests! The teachers also ensure that there are outdoor times every day, and most days, even two times, so impressive. Teachers also document her engaging in activities, and this really helps parent-nursery cooperation. My husband and I have no family here, so we are extremely grateful to have this nursery helping us whenever we need it; we know she is safe and happy here. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Overall Experience

Our daughter attended Clairmont for a couple of years. We were always delighted with the level of care and support offered to her. Communication from the key workers and manager was always helpful and informative. They provided a safe and stimulating environment for our daughter to thrive - a great

mix of indoor and outdoor activities prepared her for primary school well. A good range of healthy snacks and lunches is provided each day too. We’ve no doubts about sending our son here when he turns 3 also. Fab team.

Overall Experience

An excellent nursery. Our daughter was there for three years and enjoyed every moment of her time there. The nursery manager, along with all the carers, ensured that the children developed in the best way possible through the use of multiple activities both indoors and outdoors. Hot meals are provided

during the day, including breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. A welcome attraction for the children, especially in the winter months. Great advice was given on the best way to apply to Primary School as well. All of the events during the year were celebrated with the children like Halloween, St Andrews Day, Chinese New Year, Christmas. My daughter's literacy and communication skills were all closely monitored, and progress was shared with the parents through the journal. With close proximity to the local park and private gardens, the children have an abundance of places to explore. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to any parent looking for a nursery for their child.
