Overall Experience

We moved our son to Little Stars with extremely short notice after an incident at his previous nursery. The management and staff were incredibly helpful & supportive, they made the transition seamless & reassured two very anxious parents. Our son is so happy at Little Stars, there is so much space indoors

& outdoors for him to run around, there are always plenty of activities for him to do, he is well fed & we love that they go on outings as well! Every member of staff we speak to is informative, polite & you can really see how much they care about the children they teach & look after. Our son has come on so much since starting here, we wish he'd been here from when he started nursery! Thank you Little Stars!

Our son absolutely loves this nursery. The staff are warm and attentive, so much so that they feel like an extension of our family. The activities are always engaging and he looks forward to each day and loves getting his bag in the morning and dashing to the front door ready to go to nursery. Highly

Overall Experience

My child attended this nursery from 2023-2024. We didn't have the best start here, having been concerned about the care inspectorate report we had a meeting with the new manager. However, by the time we started, she had already left. I only found out this months later as it wasn't communicated to us.

When we started communication wasn't great and we weren't told about anything learning journals, social media groups etc. Our forms were lost too. Also, pictures were posted on social media despite my preferences on form. I can only comment on the 1-2 room. The staff were good, two were particularly excellent. My daughter developed well there. Handovers were chaotic most days, often had to wait for a long time, hunt for shoes, crying children ignored. The staff there were doing the best they could but they need more staff at these key times or a better process. We were also not informed of the most recent care inspectorate review, which highlighted multiple safety concerns.

Overall Experience

My son attended Little Stars Alloa since he was 10 months old, he is now ready to start school this year. Since then, I haven't had any concerns or issues to raise. More recently he has been in the 3-5years room, and it has been a positive experience throughout. The staff really know my son, and how

to manage any distress on a personal level. He has a lovely relationship with the staff, who are all fantastic. The management team have been great, providing updates via the newsletter regularly. The nursery room is big and filled with all different activities, there was always something new being set up when I dropped my son off. The garden is probably the best nursery garden in the area, lots of space and things to do. I really can't fault the care my son experienced here.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting in January 2024. The staff are all amazing and so approachable! My daughter is much happier at drop off and always tells us how fun her day was at pick up. After a terrible experience with another nursery, it is reassuring to know she is settling

in and enjoying it. I wish I found this nursery sooner! My little star is thriving so thank you!

Overall Experience

Fantastic nursery with an outstanding team. Providing person-centred care for all children. My son has thrived at Little Star's and both the manager and her team are very supportive and engaging. The children have a very happy, safe and clean environment to play and learn in and are also very lucky

to have their own garden on-site as well as the eco park and certain sculptures right on their doorstep. Nothing is ever an issue and requests and needs are always met. The manager and her team encourage the parents to get involved by hosting events such as 'stay and play' as often as they are able, with staff going over and above taking time out of their personal time to accommodate these days. The children are happy, healthy, kind and caring and this is a true reflection of how well the staff work with the children.

Overall Experience

Both my kids have attended Little Stars since 9 months old, and have never had any issues. From baby room to preschool both my girls have loved all the staff. They have come on so well since starting especially with their confidence.
We couldn’t be happier with the nursery and both girls look forward

to going each morning. They enjoy all the activities and always have plenty of stories to tell when they get home!

Overall Experience

Little Stars is a fantastic nursery. My son thoroughly enjoys the preschool room. Both my children have attended from 9 months, and I could not fault the dedication and hard work of the adults within the setting. The communication is fantastic, and I have always felt that my son is seen and heard. The

outdoor space provides so many great opportunities for the children. I will be sad to say goodbye when my youngest leaves for school in August.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been learning so much at nursery, she spends her time in the youngest room. I hear about her new experiences each evening when she is picked up and get updates in our social media group and on her learning journal. It makes me so happy that she has these opportunities from such a young

age. Her learning journal includes milestones and observations. Activities she has participated in this month include helping make snacks (like soup and cake) and sensory play with herbs, engaging smells as well as touch and taste. She is learning Makaton and has grown greatly in confidence since being at nursery. Thank you to all the staff for supporting her.

Overall Experience

I've had my child in Little Stars for a year and a half, and feel very lucky to have secured a place for my child. The staff work tirelessly and passionately to attend to the development, wellbeing and overall enjoyment of the children in their care. Every day I'm impressed by my child's vocabulary,

ability to string sentences together, and motor skills.
It is hard to have to have your child in nursery 4 days a week on a full-day schedule, but the sad reality is that it's the world we live in. However, the developmental milestones he's made thanks to the nursery allay my concerns about him being away for so long.
The staff are considerate and professional, but I especially appreciate that they inform you with interest and awareness of your child's interactions while in their care. It is clear to see that the wellbeing, health and development of children is their central goal and I feel they're doing an amazing job.
I'm a very pleased Dad with a very happy boy. Thank you Little Stars.

I have 2 children who attend this nursery. Both absolutely love going to nursery and enjoy their experience here. I like that they have the opportunity to do extra activities such as Spanish. It would be good to see the rugby class come back to nursery as well.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending Little Stars in Alloa since he was 6 months old, from day one of starting all of the staff have gone above and beyond with him settling in and ensuring that he is meeting all of his milestones and development. Staff have excellent communication with parents and always ensure

that a detailed handover is provided at pick up and if there are any concerns throughout the day they always call. Since starting there have been a couple of managers however more recently a Manager and and Deputy Manager who, again, both go above and beyond and nothing is ever a bother, have an excellent manner and are very easy to approach. All staff and children appear very happy and settled within Little Stars with a warm welcome each day

Overall Experience

Our little one loves Little Stars Nursery and I think that’s a great reflection of how well this nursery nurtures him, children are very honest. As parents, we love to see his connection with the staff as well as the other children. We also love the little updates both on his day each time we collect

him and on his development and the activities he has been taking part in. A major feature that encouraged us to choose this nursery was the fantastic outdoor space, which our son has gone on to thoroughly enjoy since starting here. Indoor spaces are also very well suited and surprisingly always clean and tidy, despite lots of little ones running around and having lots of fun. All in all, we love this nursery and we appreciate that our child is shown kindness, and respect and is encouraged to both have fun and learn when he is here we would recommend this nursery to any parents who are looking for childcare.

My son has been attending Little Stars since he was a year old and he is now almost 5 and ready to move onto big school.
Every single one of the team at Little Stars has become like family to my son. Everybody is so kind, caring, enthusiastic and welcoming. We've had our ups and downs over the years,

especially the difficult times after Covid.
I feel fully confident leaving my child with all of the team at Little Stars. I'm confident he is engaged, well cared and progressing nicely.

Overall Experience

Little Stars provide fantastic facilities indoors and outdoors for the children. My daughter loves the outside and plays with water.
The activities are well planned in accordance with her age and helped to stimulate and develop her skills. The daily reports are helpful and holistic. All the staff are

extremely supportive and ans and helpful, sometimes even beyond their role.

Absolutely amazing staff, very welcoming and always smiling. My son loves coming into nursery and goes away happy which makes me happy. The outdoor space is amazing and the full set up inside also. Great buzzer entry into building knowing kids are safe. Also good to keep in touch through his book for

communication with the staff and parent about what your child has been up to in the day at nursery. I couldn't be happier with the staff and management around great would recommend to anyone.
