Overall Experience

My child has been attending since November and he has grown to love it so much! Starting off at nursery was hard on him and myself but I knew he was in excellent hands. The staff are amazing and have been working there for years they made us feel so assured. He loves going now, drop offs are still challenging

but by the end of the day he is happy and playing! He comes home with having excellent meals and snack, wonderfully creative messy play, loads of outdoor time and crafts! Pennies was recommended to me by a colleague and I would recommend them as well! It's a wonderful caring compassionate place, and feels like one big family!

Overall Experience

My son has been attending PKC/holiday club for nearly 3 years and the ladies that look after him are outstanding. His confidence has come on so much because of them, he eats different foods and really has come out of his shell. My son is well looked after whilst in their care and I can't thank them

enough. I also cannot recommend PKC enough. Always go above and beyond for the children.

of a long day.
Everything about the nursery is well-organized and transparent, making it easy for parents to stay informed and feel confident about their child's care and development. I cannot recommend Pennie's at Newnham Court highly enough. My almost 3 year has attended since he was 13 months old and absolutely loves it. Settling in was tough for us both but the staff were so warm and loving towards him and really put my mind at ease. He runs happily into his room in the morning

and comes home from each session having learnt something new and singing the praises of the staff in his room. I have always found the staff to be warm, approachable and happy to answer any questions I have about my son and his development. I really like the continuity of staff and how those who have looked after him in previous rooms seem to remember and speak to him when we see them. He also raves about the food and eats everything "and more"! My second son is signed up to join in 2025 and I have every confidence that he will be just as happy there. Leaving your children to return to work is the hardest thing ever but Pennie's have made it slightly easier and I am forever thankful!

My son attends the pre-school at Pennies he loves it two members of staff in particular are amazing and all other staff. The nursery is always very clean great security and very good home cooked food. I can not recommend it enough

My daughter goes there since she was very little, only months old(now she is 2.5). At that point she refused to go with anyone apart from me or my husband,but since the first minute we put our feet here she felt very much confortable and confident. She went with the staff without doubting, and we could

see straight away that it was the right place.The management there is another level of support, always willing to help and accommodate your needs. All the members of staff are amazing, supporting every step my daughter does in a very personal way, they are great! And the last, but not least! , the chef! Her food is really tasty. We manage to try her dishes in the open days and I can see why my daughter loves them! The space outside is absolutely gorgeous, cannot wait for the spring to come so she can be out for longer. I would 100% recommend this Nursery to anyone looking for a clean, well managed and a great place to take their little ones to.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. We now have two children attending pennies and honestly I cannot fault them. The opening hours are brilliant for two working parents, specially a shift worker. Both my children love attending and they love their key workers like another member of our family. There's no

way I could have comfortably gone back to work without the peace of mind that my children love attending nursery! The food is incredible (better than anything I could make at home) and the activities they set up provide both a challenge and fun. No faults with pennies at all. The management are approachable and always there for advice and I feel the genuinely care for all the children. Very happy with pennies

My Daughter has been at this nursery since September 2024. She was at another nursery 9 months before that and the difference is amazing. Within two weeks we noticed her speech coming along much quicker. Her confidence has grown so quickly, the staff are lovely any requests I have asked them to follow

they have. She talking about everyone there constantly at home and is excited to come in to see her friends and the staff.

My daughter started at pennies in January when she was 20 months old. I am over the moon with the nursery
Not once has my daughter cried when being dropped off and she is always happily playing when I pick her up. She asks to go to nursery every morning which is so lovely to know she loves it as it

puts my mind at ease while at work. I was worried how she would eat and sleep there but she does better than she does at home! Everyone is so welcoming and they all know my daughter very well already and I can tell she feels comfortable with them. They keep me updated via the app and at the end of each day and they get up to lots of fun stuff in the day. I love how much they are outside as my daughter loves that.

Overall Experience

Fees do not reflect the fact that the nursery is closed throughout the whole Christmas period even on normal working days.
Would like more regular parents' evenings to understand developments etc.
The staff are friendly and great with children, really happy with activities done throughout the day

and the catering.
Outside equipment should be cleaner.

Opening times are discussed during the initial tour of the nursery, we are clear that we close over Christmas and our fees are worked out over 50 weeks of the year. This is documented in our fee structure, which states " Pennies are open 51 weeks of the year (but we only charge for 50 weeks) closing on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year. We are transparent with parents from the beginning, so they are clear what we offer before registering. We offer two official parents' evenings throughout the year, but parents are welcome to discuss their child's development at any time. We will always make time to meet to discuss any concerns or to give an understanding of what we are working towards. Please feel free to talk to the Head of Unit or your Key person if you would like to arrange a "catch-up". Thank you for your feedback with regards to our outside equipment, the managers' have been notified and will assess it as a matter of urgency and rectified where needed.

My daughter has attended Pennies since she was 1, she can be shy and requires a lot of reassurance. During her time at Pennies, she has become much more confident and I cannot fault the staff at all, her key workers have supported my daughter and myself through some tricky stages with my daughter's

confidence and she is becoming such a happy, confident little girl ready to go to pre-school soon.
My son is starting Pennies in the new year and I look forward to seeing him flourish at Pennies, I would recommend to anyone I know.

Since our little boy started Pennies in February 2024, we have had nothing but support from the nursery, from settling in to moving up to his next room. Pennies have been outstanding. All the staff are amazing and genuinely care about your child and their wellbeing.

Overall Experience

Both our children have gone to Pennies and one is currently at Little Lunars. Both our daughters loved every room and the connection with all the ladies is amazing. They do a lot of outside play and plenty of arts and crafts. They kindly make little gifts for us to keep as keepsakes. This includes Christmas

decorations and hand prints. The ladies do generally seem to love the kids and light up for each kid that comes in the room. Would recommend!

Overall Experience

Pennies is such a kind, nurturing nursery who I cannot recommend enough. My son loved attending from 12 months until 4 years old. He now attends the PKC holiday clubs with his sister, loving the fun activities they complete.
The staff are all really caring and always put the children first.
My son

had various allergies and the kitchen worked with us to make sure he always had a delicious meal and didn't feel left out when others had treats such as cakes.
The facilities are great - especially the huge garden and outdoor toys.
They know all of the children so well and support with all aspects of their care - thank you to all the staff for all the fun, care and nurturing you provide.
