Overall Experience

High Bank Nursery have been amazing in every aspect since my son began attending. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy, cared for and most importantly, having fun! My son has developed so much since attending and I am so proud of the progress he has made in such a short time.

Overall Experience

My third child is currently at Kids Planet Durham and my older two also attended. We have always been extremely happy with the care given and the learning that takes place at nursery and this has set them up so well for starting primary school. The staff are so friendly and caring with the children

and the activities they do with them are so fun and varied. My children absolutely love the nursery and I think they have thrived during their time there.

Overall Experience

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, she has such a good relationship with the staff, it is so reassuring for us as parents. My daughter talks about the ladies in her room all the time even though she only goes to nursery 2 days a week. We tried a couple of different nurseries but the staff

didn't interact with her half as well and also the rooms were set out differently- mostly plastic toys. We appreciate the rooms are set out at the nursery, creating an opportunity for imaginative play, my daughter responded to this very well. The nursery always seems to provide opportunities for sensory/messy play which my daughter loves. The garden is fantastic, lots of space and well equipped and they go out at least once a day. We are so very grateful that we found this nursery and for the staff who make my daughter's time there so much fun.

Overall Experience

We have been using Kids Planet Durham for over two years now for daycare for our two little ones (1 and 3 years old). Handing your baby over to what are almost complete strangers is one of the most daunting and worrying things any new Mam can do, however I felt completely at ease from day 1. The staff

here absolutely make the place what it is and the experience the children clearly get is amazing. There are too many individuals to name but they're all stars and our two children always come home having had a great day with their little friends, all of which is logged and can be monitored through the app. Thank you to everyone at Kids Planet for nurturing and caring so much for the children, we can't thank you enough.

Overall Experience

We're very pleased with our decision to send our child to Kids Planet High Bank. It wasn't smooth at the start, she was quite emotional in the baby room but she has thrived since. It has brought her on so much and the staff have all been brilliant. We can't speak highly enough of the staff. We love

hearing about all of the activities the children get up to. The only things that could be improved that we can think of are, the app which is being changed and some times we don't hear back about potentially swapping days.

Overall Experience

Kids Planet Durham has been a second home to my daughter since she was 9 months old. She has just left pre-school ready to start reception next week. The staff are what really makes this place special. The genuine care and love they have for the children is amazing. Staff across the whole nursery have

helped foster a love of learning and always encourage process over product/outcome. The curriculum is broad and allows the children to explore a wide range of topics.
Communication is brilliant, I love hearing about the day at pick up and I've always enjoyed stay and plays. The chance to spend some quality time at nursery with my daughter was priceless. It will always have a special place in our hearts.

Overall Experience

Kids Planet Durham is a fantastic day nursery. My child has attended for over 2 years, starting in the toddler room and leaving from pre-school. He has had a great experience the whole time and as parents, we are so happy with the level of care our child has received. The management and staff are exceptional

and are truly caring. There are core members of staff in each room so the children see regular staff every day. The facilities are excellent and the food has also been very good. This nursery goes above and beyond in all areas of the nursery. There is a big playground/garden out the back as well where kids have lots of room to run around. The 15/30 hours of funded childcare can also be spread over 51 weeks which has worked very well for us, ensuring we have care all year round for our children while we both work.

My little boy has attended this nursery since the age of 3, he is leaving to start school in September. The team at Kids Planet are absolutely amazing and have brought my baby boy on so much. The girls genuinely do love teaching the children and I can see this in my little boy daily, he comes out having

had such a brilliant day. I was apprehensive at first as I had to change his nursery due to a change in job. I had nothing to worry about. My son absolutely loves Kids Planet. The team really do make this the best nursery in the area. They are appreciated beyond belief, I can't thank them enough for giving me peace of mind, knowing my little boy is safe and well cared for makes my day so much easier.

Overall Experience

This nursery has been the natural choice for my second daughter because my first daughter had such a positive experience here. My second little girl is now so happy here. The staff genuinely delight in being with the children. My oldest improved so much in her confidence here and I can see the same

thing happening with my youngest baby.
I’ve noticed an improvement in the facilities and resources, but the nursery still has the same music focus to the curriculum which we love!

Overall Experience

Amazing nursery, my son first joined when he was 9 months old and on Friday had his last day at nursery ready for school in September. The staff are amazing and were wonderful with my son, it's been lovely to watch him move from each room in the nursery, from the baby room right up to pre-school. He

has enjoyed the messy play, baking, learning new things every week, but most of all the staff. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose Kids Planet nursery.

Overall Experience

My 3 year old has been attending High Bank Nursery since 2021, my 10 month old started in June this year.
I wanted to write a new review as I am so impressed with the team in the babies room and how well my son has settled. He was such a clingy baby, stuck to me like glue and wouldn't go to anyone

else or play independently. The first 2 weeks were pretty rough, there were a lot of tears (from both of us!) but he's been there about 6 weeks now and the change in him is amazing. He seems to absolutely love nursery, goes to the staff quite happily and is all smiles when I drop him off and pick him up. He's completely transformed at home too, he'll go to people other than me and he's so confident now. Crawls all over the house exploring and happily plays by himself. It's a joy to see how much he's come on. Credit to the staff who are all lovely and seem to genuinely care. Makes the return to work that little bit less painful when you know he's happy, well cared for, having fun and learning lots!

Overall Experience

I couldn’t be happier with High Bank Nursery for my little girl. It’s in fantastic surroundings and the staff are wonderful and so welcoming.
My little girl started in baby class in March and has settled in very quickly.
I love the app as it lets you know nap times and how/what she’s eaten during

the day. The staff are always extremely friendly and supportive.
I can’t wait to see her grow and develop at the nursery.

Overall Experience

We could not be happier with High Bank Nursery. It is the most nurturing and unique setting for children to grow and develop. As a parent who has had many years experience in Early Years Settings, I have yet to find one that beats High Bank. The management and staff always put the children first in

everything they plan for and the resources and experiences that are available for the children are second to none. The extras such as French, Sing and Sign, and football are all included in the fees, which you just do not get anywhere else. The children get a lovely two course lunch every day which is home cooked by their own nursery chef. The food is fresh and healthy with meat sourced locally and fresh eggs every day from the nursery farm.

Overall Experience

What a wonderful nursery. Our little girl goes here and has done since September. I was so anxious about her starting, especially as she was funny with taking a bottle, but they have been amazing at adapting things for my little girl and at easing my worries as well.
I haven't had a single problem

or concern with anything that they do; the staff are lovely, and they are like a little family, which makes the environment that little bit more special.
When we drop our little girl off, she literally has the biggest grin on her face and can't wait to see the wonderful staff there. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending Do Re Mi for over 9 months now. We are really happy with the nursery. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is healthy and varied and has improved his eating a lot. He gets to do lots of great activities which he enjoys so much and really help his development. He

loves the staff and runs in smiling to see them. Most importantly my son loves going; he walks in with a big smile on his face in the morning and comes back so happy. It helps me to know he's in safe hands and so happy there.
