YMCA Little Shoots Day Nursery

I find the staff at Little Shoots very welcoming, especially the manager who always has an interest in my daughter's life outside of nursery, as well as mine. My daughter has blossomed under the staff's care and I am so pleased with her progress.

They have very kind and compassionate staff. They have been like a village to us for about three and a half years of my child being in the nursery. My child looks forward to attending each time. I would highly recommend.

YMCA Mansion House Pre-School

Cannot fault Mansion House!
My eldest son attended with them from Sept 2018 - July 2019 after swapping from another nursery and he loved it there.
My youngest has been there since after Easter 2023, and I was so happy to get him there. The staff are all so lovely and accommodating. The manager is
very easy to get in contact with and so very helpful.
My son was a covid baby - born at the start of the lockdown so there were some separation issues with a new thing added to his routine when he started but it took a couple of weeks and he has gone running in since. He enjoys the routine at the preschool and he has made so many friends, some of which he is now starting school with. The manager and the team have played a massive part in building up his confidence and getting him very much ready for school.
I wish them all the best in the future!

YMCA Humpty Dumpty Nursery

from S C (Mother of Child) published on 13 March 2024

My child started in the autumn term of toddler room and will graduate this July to go to school. The team at Humpty Dumpty is incredible. The nurturing and bespoke care they provide is wonderful. My child is happy, confident, and very much school-ready. They take the safety and complete holistic well-being
of each child into consideration and take pride in seeing children be the best they can be. They support the children whilst they navigate toilet training, emotions, and building friendships and they support a strong inclusive welcoming environment. The activities and parties are wonderful. My child attends forest school, visits the local old people's home, and enjoys learning coordination with the sports coach. My child loves circle time and wake a shake and his moves put me to shame. I honestly couldn't thank the team at Humpty Dumpty enough. As a parent, I have been able to go to work each day with confidence and peace of mind knowing that my child is having a wonderful time.

A warm and friendly environment with an excellent outdoor provision. Great staff and flexible hours of care offered. My son loved his time here and I would recommend this nursery to anyone without hesitation.

YMCA King's Nursery

from Z M (Mother of Child) published on 17 July 2017

King's Nursery has really helped to settle in my child after both a house and a town move to a new area.
They have provided me with guidance when required and always have the time to discuss what activities my child has done.
A warm welcoming feeling when going in on a daily basis.

YMCA Humpty Dumpty Nursery

from Lexi N (Mother of Child) published on 23 November 2015

Both my children have attend Humpty Dumptys nursery from babies, my eldest is now in pre school and youngest in toddlers and they both love it (and so do II!) The staff are very friendly and I always feel my children are in very safe hands when I leave them. If any issues do arise they are very professional
and deal with a situation appropriately. The online learning journal (Tapestry) that they use is fantastic and we're updated weekly with photos and videos with all that the children get up to during their time at Humpty's. They have a brilliant outdoor space which just seems to get better every year. They also have access to the secondary schools sports hall and school grounds (which includes a woodland walk area!). The staff are fantastic if you have any concerns regarding your child and will do all they can to help resolve any issues and reassure you when you may be feeling worried. I would highly recommend Humpty Dumptys - will be very sad when my kids move on up to primary school!
