Chestnut Nursery School is a fantastic nursery. Their attention to detail with my child's care is amazing, and every member of staff we have encountered has been engaged, welcoming and friendly. Their settling process was really robust, and my son absolutely loves attending every day. They have a great
range of activities and opportunities for the children and a wonderful indoor and outdoor space for play.

My son started nursery here in October and although I was very worried in the beginning as I thought he is still too young, this is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
If you are a parent who thoroughly likes to research and make sure everything is perfect, this nursery is exactly for you.
Ever since he has started I have had no doubts whatsoever and can see huge progress already.
The staff are wonderful, caring, and answer all questions you may have upon pick up. The nursery manager in particular; she deserves a special mention and praise. I give the nursery's success to someone who is very professional at what they do, very approachable, answers all queries/questions you may have and always offers the best, convenient solution.
The nursery is clean, has lots of activities to offer and a perfect environment for my son to strive. I highly recommend Chestnut Nursery School.

We are fortunate to be a short walk away from this amazing nursery. My child started here a few months ago when he turned 1, and he is thriving. The settling in process went smoothly and he quickly bonded with his caregivers. The staff and nursery manager are all lovely, helpful and approachable. They
adore our son and I feel very comfortable dropping him off every day. He comes home happy and sometimes doesn't want to leave! My only complaint is the app only tells you about nappy changes, meals and naps. It would be good to get more regular information on what my child is up to. I did get a lot of information and pictures at six-week observation, and that was lovely.

I am always so confident that my now 3 year old daughter will have a lovely day filled with learnings and utmost care, and yes, she comes back so happy.
She also learnt to communicate better
quickly, thanks to the nursery!!

My first son has been going to Chestnut Nursery since April 2022 and my second one joined him in January 2024. Every single person working there is amazing, they are all so kind and attentive. They stimulate the kids with lots of different activities every day and they're very respectful of individuality.
My kids love going to nursery!

My boys, they've been to Chestnut Nursery School @ The Maples nursery for about 1 year, since they were 2 years and 7 months!
It was great for us, we've been in the right place when it was needed, I will say! We got a lot of support in such important stages for the boys, being away from mommy, socialising,
sharing and playing with the other kids, trying to become a bit independent, toilet training!
A lot of transparency from the nursery side which I really appreciated!
I will mention few staff members in particular that I communicate very well with.
We will miss you, thank you!

Our son spent two wonderful years at Chestnut Nursery School at The Maples, and we have nothing but praise for the experience. He loved the nurturing environment and the dedicated teachers, and he made many friends who are now with him in school. Over those two years, we watched him grow from a baby
into a confident little boy, developing his vocabulary, numeracy, and social skills. The teachers did a fantastic job preparing him for reception, and he's now thriving in his new school. Their care and support also helped him overcome his shyness. We couldn't have asked for a better start to his early education, and we highly recommend The Maples to any parent.

Thank you so much to everyone at Chestnut Nursery The Maples for all they have done for my child. Despite issues with funding, they were unendingly encouraging and engaged with his additional needs, providing resources and interventions in line with his Education, Health and Care Plan. My child made
real bonds with the staff at the nursery, and so did we! They have all been so supportive and caring towards him, and we will miss everyone a huge amount.

My little boy was having a bit of a grizzly time when we came to view the nursery, but thankfully the Nursery Manager, stepped in to save the day. The rapport she has so clearly built with all of the children is wondrous to see. She also knew exactly what to do with my little man to calm him down further.
She reassured me that all would be well and this is not an often occurrence, and I could see how happy other arrivals were when greeted by staff. Such a warm, kind and caring environment. We felt like royalty being shown around and it was so clear how the Nursery Manager loved and cared for not just the children but her staff team too, she clearly cares about her environment. Thank you!

Words cannot express the amount of love, support, and memories Arden House, Chestnut Nursery have given to my children past & present. From the very first week of settling in and to the last stages of transitioning to school, the staff and nursery manager have always made the experience comforting and
most importantly my child's welfare put first. Staff are well trained and friendly and always approachable. The setting is clean and tidy and my children have always thrived well at nursery. I wish I could keep them there forever.

Arden House has been an incredible place for our children to learn and grow. My daughter was fortunate to have fantastic key workers during her time with the nursery. Kortni in particular has stood out as such an outstanding and nurturing member of staff. She has always taken the time to help our child
express herself, process her feelings, and explore her interests. We feel so incredibly grateful to have had Kortni play such a prominent role in our daughter's development as well as the fantastic wider team. All three of my children have gone to Arden House and I'll feel incredibly sad when we have to say goodbye for good. Highly recommend.

We have had an amazing time at Chestnut nursery. All the staff have been fantastic with the development of our daughter. She has made friends and thoroughly enjoys her time at the nursery. She has a very good relationship with all the staff and we have been very satisfied with the overall experience.
I was especially pleased with the safeguarding aspect of the nursery as they take real good care in ensuring that the right person is here to collect the child. I would recommend the nursery to family and friends.
