Overall Experience

Our daughter started at Kindred in Sept 2024 aged 1.5y after we moved to the area, the staff were brilliant with settling her in and making her feel happy and safe. I love the Satchel app they use for updates throughout the day. The staff have also been brilliant dealing with multiple allergies and

I love that everything is included so I don't need to worry about nappies and wipes. My daughter comes home telling me everyone she's played with during the day and she goes in every morning with a smile and a wave.
They've also organised little trips out and bring extra resources into the setting for the children to enjoy. The messy play ideas are so creative and means I don't have all the clean up at home!
Thanks to all the staff who are so kind and caring!

Couldn't be happier with the staff and vibe at kindred. My son loves going in to nursery everyday and I struggle to get him to want to leave most days. Staff are brilliant and very polite and considerate. Thanks to everyone that makes my son's day so easy and engaging. Awesome job.

A particular staff member is amazing with our son. He is the main care giver.

Overall Experience

We had a fantastic experience at Kindred Cambridge. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive, creating a warm environment where our son felt happy and safe.
We especially loved the variety of activities that encouraged his curiosity and development. It was amazing to see how well he was cared for

and how much he enjoyed his time there. We also appreciated receiving daily updates with several photos, which made us feel connected to his experiences.
Even after moving away, he still talks about his friends, which speaks to the lasting impact they had on him. We would highly recommend Kindred Cambridge to any family!

Overall Experience

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our daughter goes in happily waving goodbye to us. They do so many activities with the children and keep parents well informed. Overall Experience

I am so pleased my daughter attends this nursery. She was very clingy and apprehensive for the first few weeks, however, all the staff and especially her key worker have made her so comfortable and happy to attend in such a short space of time. I love seeing the picture and written updates that are

always so detailed - you can tell the staff really care about children.

Overall Experience

We couldn't be happier with kindred. The staff are truly exceptional kind, and patient in every child's well-being and development. My daughter absolutely loves going each day and always comes home super happy.
The activities are creative, educational, and very fun. The nursery also does a fantastic

job of keeping parents informed with updates and photos, so we never feel out of the loop.
The facilities are clean, safe, and perfectly suited for little ones. We've seen such growth in our daughter's confidence, social skills, and curiosity since she started.
We highly recommend Kindred to any parent looking for a stimulating environment for their child.

Overall Experience

We've been impressed so far by this nursery. The settling in sessions were very structured and there was a considered discussion with the room manager about our daughter's routine, likes and dislikes- it felt like the team really cared about our daughter's wellbeing and development.
The nursery have

been easy to communicate with via the (excellent) App- we receive lots of photos showing all the incredibly creative activities she does each day. There seems to be a really low staff turnover rate here compared to other places which I think has helped her form strong bonds with staff members. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family.

Overall Experience

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and nursery, Kindred. Our son has grown up there and has enjoyed every one of the different rooms. Now he is in the "big boy room" and he learns so much every day. They do wonderful learning activities throughout the weeks around topics like

healthy eating, parts of the body, family, emotions, and so on. They also organise specialists to come in so the children can explore things like gymnastics and even different zoo animals. It really is a fantastic mix of learning and fun. Kindred gives you regular updates on your child's progress via their app, face-to-face daily, and at parents' evenings.
The team offer support with all sorts of things - potty training, picky eating, difficult behaviours and more. If I ever feel like I am at a loss I know I can speak with my son's key worker and she will offer suggestions and support. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and this shows in the care and support she gives my son and the family.

Overall Experience

Our daughter started at Kindred in September last year. The settling in process was managed very carefully and our daughter settled in very well. She is almost 2, but despite being so young, constantly talks excitedly about her key person. She loves the nursery and we are consistently impressed by the

care of the staff, the attentive management, the facilities and activities, and the communication with parents. We would highly recommend Kindred Cambridge and our daughter is very happy there.

Overall Experience

Kindred has been a wonderful part of our lives since our daughter started in Curiosity Crescent at 9 months (2 years ago). Since she has been there she has developed strong positive relationships with all the staff and she is happy to see them and all the different activities planned every day. We were

especially appreciative of all their help with caring for our daughter while she was temporarily in a cast, and the team was professional in following policies and meeting with us to complete a risk assessment, ensuring that it was still possible for our daughter to attend with some adjustments, and be cared for safely.
Communication from the team is very regular and clear, our daughter has personalised reports on her progress that are reassuring and helpful. The range of activities is endlessly varied and includes even going on outings to the playground and having visits from the gymnastic teacher and small animals which our daughter loved. Thank you to all the staff who made it happen.

Overall Experience

This is a fantastic, well run nursery. I have no hesitation that my child is receiving good care and is getting the most from their time spent at Kindred St Ives Nursery and Pre-school. Overall Experience

Overall it has been a good experience. My child is happy to go to nursery and all staff have done an incredible job to make her feel at home. Few bits to improve: Not enough parking, always takes me extra minutes to drop/pick up. The app is not updated properly, I understand the staff is busy but there

are often mismatches between what they say at pick up and what the app says. Also I get monthly updates with pictures, but many other nurseries give daily pictures and activity details, which would be lovely as our children spend more time at nursery than home and as a parent I would like to know what activities my child does every day.

Overall Experience

We have been so impressed by the nursery, I can't fault anything about my daughter's experience. Her transition to the nursery (due to a house move) was managed really well, as was her recent move up a room. My daughter has some health needs which have been supported really well, communication is great

and the staff are brilliant. The nursery really feels like an extension of our "village", we feel very lucky to have them. My daughter moved from a much better-provisioned nursery (big outdoor site, forest school), we infinitely prefer Kindred.

Overall Experience

All three of our children have been to Kindred (and Sunflower before it became Kindred). We have had a consistently good experience and would highly recommend it to others. We have built a strong relationship with the staff over the years, and the level of care and provision is highly satisfactory.

Overall Experience

My son and daughter both went to Kindred for their early years before school. The staff are amazing there and always organising fun activities, the kids love all of them, they also include all sorts of diversity from religions and cultures from all around the world.
My two kids have wonderful staff

that they made connections with, they always felt safe and cared for. And the food was brilliant!
I only scored the outdoor space a litter lower than everything else as it is on the small size, but it's got plenty to play with and their rotated activities enough to keep the kids entertained. The staff also take the older kids out to the playgrounds down the road, which also helps teach them about road safety all together as well.

A brilliant nursery! We are so happy that we chose Kindred. The staff and management are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall Experience

My husband and I looked around the nursery a couple of times before sending our son here. As we had concerns about a previous nursery we had sent our eldest to.
We are so pleased we sent our son here as he has already achieved so many milestones even though he is 1. The staff members in the room are

all super helpful and nothing is a problem they can't solve.
Our son loves going into the nursery and seeing his friends and the staff, he's also now very quick to crawl and join in any activities on offer.
We cannot wait to see what the remainder of his journey with the nursery is like.
