Our toddler has been at Independent Place Nursery since May 2024 and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so warm and caring and they do such amazing activities. They are super careful with her dietary needs and she is delighted she is to go in the morning and so excited if she sees any of the staff
outside of nursery hours. I feel like they've had such a huge hand in her development and I am so grateful for the warmth and love they give all the children, I've seen staff literally spend the whole time I was there for an event cuddling an upset settling in the baby in the sweetest way, more than once. They put so much thought into activities and learning, and they listen so much to parents' requests and thoughts. I'll be sad when she goes to school. They also have access to a beautiful garden and the babies have their own lovely garden where they had fun in a paddling pool in the summer described to me as 'nappies and vibes' which I loved.

It is clear to see once your child attends Queens Baby Nursery why it has been awarded outstanding by Ofsted. But locally, its reputation precedes it. Unfortunately I have experienced other nurseries in the area prior to my son attending Queens, and if I could go back and make my decision again I would
send my child to Queens every single time. When you drop your little one off, to when you pick them up, the warm and caring staff make you feel like your most precious asset is safe, which I can tell you from experience is such a relief. Not only that, they are well fed, and incredibly well stimulated with such a variety of activities. This nursery really does tick all the boxes and I am so thankful to all the staff who have been amazing.

Our daughter attended Independent Place from age 10 months until she started school aged 4.5. The team is incredibly caring and thoughtful with the children and we always knew she was well looked after. The leadership is great and has been consistent the whole time we've been there. She made great friends
at the nursery too which is down to the efforts the team makes to do a range of activities with the children. In addition, they have a great early years curriculum and she leaves the nursery with excellent phonics and maths knowledge and is definitely ready for school. We feel very lucky to have had her start at Independent Place and would not hesitate to recommend it.

I love this nursery. My oldest child has recently left for school and has been so happy, confident and well-prepared during the years at Queens. My youngest is still at the nursery site and will move to preschool early next year. Without exception, the staff have been wonderful, caring, engaging and
fun. There are lots of great activities and trips. The little ones are nurtured and supported to settle. The older ones are well prepared for school. Nursey's comms and updates are great. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

My son went to Independent Place from approx. Aug 2023 - Aug 2024. He was looked after and guided, and his key workers really cared about him in the toddler room. I know the key workers all helped each other out, however, and all were very kind and engaged. They genuinely wanted to do a good job with
the kids and were attached. I also noticed little things like he'd come home having learnt a sign (sign language), and learnt to indicate what song he'd like me to sing, and I credit them with helping him to walk, drink independently, and sit well-behaved at meals. We supported him at home, but I think the support and environment at the nursery really helped too.

They engage in messy play/coordination activities, and have a little garden they make the most of (a real plus in London). Admin: We loved the weekly summaries, a wide range of themed activities, and blog posts so parents get insight into the activities, which some other nurseries don't do. We were sad to leave! Heartfelt thank you.

Very happy with my boy' 2 years at Independent Place Nursery. They have created an atmosphere that made him excited to go to nursery and have struck a good blend of free play and learning. I think they also helped him handle the transition to school very well!

My son joined the nursery 2 years ago, it was a big time in his life as we had moved house, moved nursery and given him a sibling in a short space of time. The staff at Independent Place were amazing at helping him to settle, he developed an amazingly close bond with his keyworker which helped him develop
and transition with confidence from the toddler room to the preschool room. He thrived In their close and friendly atmosphere. Loving every day there and enjoying the outdoor space, creativity and extracurricular classes. Our youngest son is now in the toddler room and has the same initial key worker as our first and is loving his time there just as much.

We are pleased to read all of your positive feedback including your experiences with your keyworker, the nursery atmosphere, our unique outdoor spaces and extra curricular activities. Our 3-week rotating menu is overseen by a child nutritionist. From time to time, we also consult parents and our pre-schoolers about their favourites and for new ideas. The baby's and young children's food and nutrition are very important to us. We uniquely offer mostly organic food and our dedicated chef works 40 hours a week and cooks with the children. We value your feedback and will continue to reflect, enhance and develop all aspects of the nursery further.

Excellent nursery with amazing, dedicated, and creative teachers! Our daughter was at Independent Place for nearly four years. Positive experience from baby room to preschool. Visiting teachers and local trips enhanced learning. Communication was always great through the app, conversations at pickup,

Both of my children went to Queen's Baby Nursery, they absolutely love it and I can't thank the staff enough, they really care and the quality of care they gave to my children is phenomenal and I am very grateful. My son was so sad to leave Queens Baby Nursery - and my daughter felt just the same two years prior!
The team are so warm and engaging with the children; they have a unique dedication to nurturing the early years.
I felt so at ease to see my children head into the nursery door each morning, and not
need to look back. It really is a home-from-home.
The manager and the whole team are like a second family to us. As a parent, I always felt supported, through developmental stages and important milestones like potty training.
I would (and do) highly recommend the ursery to new parents in the area.

Absolutely brilliant nursery! All of the staff are amazing, so helpful, patient and friendly. They took the time to reassure me as a mum when I was worried about my child settling in. They gave him so much love, care and confidence. He thoroughly enjoyed his time at Queens Baby Nursery and I would highly
recommend it! The food is so nice too, lots of healthy options and variety. And they do lots of fun activities with the kids. I just wish he had been longer there so he could have had more fun! It's such a cute, homely nursery with a nice outdoor space. The key worker is an outstanding key worker, very dedicated and caring in her role. Always there to support the parents and family as well as the child. My son loves all of the staff a lot and made some friends and lots of good memories there too!

We have had an amazing experience with Queens Baby Nursery. Our daughter has loved her time there - we couldn’t have asked for a better environment for her to develop over the past 12 months. The staff are all brilliant and have taken such good care of her. There are always so many activities and learning
experiences and we are always kept updated on what has been happening throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better nursery.

We really miss Queens Baby Nursery! Our daughter was so loved by all the staff. We would drop her off in the morning knowing she was in a loving, caring, and safe place. We didn't want her time there to end. It was homely for her. The activities were so varied, the staff got really creative with ideas
and really knew her personality and needs. Thank you for teaching our daughter so much and looking after her so nicely. She is a real chatterbox and an independent almost two-year-old. She was ready for her step up to Queens Nursery with her friends thanks to you all.

Staff are amazing and the activities they hold are brilliant, and my daughter settled well and had a great time at the nursery. Although I would say they could spend more time outdoors and they really need to sort out the pram park (it has been half built with no shelf to slide prams onto - very poorly
designed for the space. However, my huge negative is that head office and management are a nightmare. We had to move our daughter out of the nursery after they made drastic changes to our booking pattern includes hours per day and days of the week - they wanted to up her days but couldn't give us any choice on the day so it became unfeasible for her to attend, we were given under 2 months notice of this, which I think is appalling when they know how long it can take to replace a child. They then promised a leaving party for my daughter which never happened, at the end we were made to feel like she was just a number and it was very un 'Child First' approach.

Sadly, you left in April, and it is now October, so we were shocked to see your review. Our last two inspections were graded, Ofsted ‘Outstanding’. The Ofsted inspector spent time in our outdoor space we are rightly proud of our feedback that the gardens are a magical and exciting place for children and that they love spending time outdoors, where they independently access exciting and challenging resources that add another level of learning, curiosity, awe and wonder for them. The Inspector also stated that the provider’s and manager’s vision is inspirational, which leads to exceptional experiences for learning and development, allowing children to make very good progress. The inspector has stated in the inspection report above that the setting has a highly effective partnership with parents to provide exceptional support and consistency for the children. Our son has been attending Queens Nursery for almost a year. He really enjoys his time here and is always happy to be dropped off and comes out with a smile on his face when we collect him. The staff are brilliant and in particular his keyworker has been outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure
his needs are met and communicates well with us. The other team members in his room are equally fantastic and he often speaks of them fondly when he is at home. The activities both at the nursery and outings to the forest, local community etc. Are always well thought out and inclusive. We enjoy coming along to the nursery when they have activities to which parents are invited. It’s lovely to see the nursery set up and to see how your child interacts amongst their peers and the staff. Our son has multiple severe food allergies so the care he receives is of utmost importance to us. The nursery has taken part in specialist allergy training and has good allergy policies in place.

My son has been attending this nursery 2 times a week for almost a year now despite having an alternative free full-time childcare option to me and it was the best decision we ever made.
They are a well run nursery with brilliant staff and I am so impressed by the activities they have going on for
the children to aid their early years development. For instance, this week they brought in animals from a local farm for the children to interact with and feed. My son loved it.
Now that they have the new Pre-School on Princes Road, they have additional outdoor space for the children to enjoy which was my only concern when I viewed the nursery (however I do understand this is a limitation of the area and the location is key for us).
Highly recommend - the care is exceptional, my son has settled in so well and enjoys everyday he attends.

I've now had the pleasure of having two children go to Baby Nursery. Both children have had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Personally, I believe they have developed into confident, social children partly due to the nurturing and structure provided by the team at Queens.
The staff are
amazing and stable with most of the personnel remaining the same over the three years I have known them. I will be extremely sad to say goodbye. They have been an important part of our early years and we can't recommend them enough.
