Overall Experience

Our daughter has attended Ashbourne Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and it has always been a positive experience. She loves attending full-time Nursery and has developed many strong relationships with all of the Nursery staff that work alongside her.
The Nursery has strong communication links

via the app and email, which keeps us up to date with our daughter's development, wow moments, as well as her everyday care, such as nap times, meals and nappies. We are regularly emailed with updated policies and changes to the week. For example, wearing certain clothes to raise money for charity.
In terms of learning, the environment is age appropriate to help engage, stimulate and develop the learning of each individual child to help them reach their important milestones. Activities in the baby room has ranged from painting, water play to story time and role play.
Overall, if you're looking for a stimulating, creative and nurturing nursery, we would definitely recommend this Nursery.

Overall Experience

When my little boy started in the baby room, he was so shy, didn't say a word to anyone and spent most of the time with his key worker. He is now in the preschool room and although still shy, he plays with peers, talks and enjoys telling us all about his morning. He is like a different child to when

he first started and that is all down to the friendly and supportive staff who have helped him to feel comfortable. It was a big step starting nursery and like any parent, I worried about how he would settle in and adapt with changing from the different rooms, but the staff have all been so reassuring and kept us up to date with his progress. Thank you!

Overall Experience

Super friendly staff, always there to help. Always courteous especially at events within the nursery. I'm super happy with my child's development while there so far which makes me choose the nursery again for my next child.
I am very delighted to find out the nursery has many events, to accommodate

parents for the transition to school, Christmas events, graduation and so on.

Overall Experience

Since my little boy has been with Ashbourne, we have really been welcomed and he has settled in so well.
He always seems so happy and always has a great time. The staff are so friendly. His key person is so good with him but also all staff within his room (baby's one). So happy.

Overall Experience

My daughter started in the toddler room in January 2024 and is absolutely thriving from being there.
Pre her starting, the staff were fantastic in assisting a first-time mum with a million questions and reassuring me along the way. She attended 3 settling-in sessions which the team were fantastic

in accommodating as I had to work them around me being called for jury service.
Food, snacks, nappies and sun cream are all included in the cost which is really helpful.
The menus and snacks are seasonal and varied, my daughter who is usually a fussy eater at home. Somehow she manages to eat everything they give her.
The updates from the team throughout the day on the app are so lovely to see, I get pictures of her playing in the garden, messy play and lots of role play. I've also had cards for Mother's Day and Easter.
I couldn't be happier with her being there, and this is all down to the fantastic staff there.

Overall Experience

I am very pleased with how my two children (3 and 2 years old) have developed being at Ashbourne Nursery. The staff are lovely. You can tell they care for the children and are very attentive and supportive to parents. At first my children were very reluctant to be left without us but they soon became

happy and really enjoy nursery now.
The activities seem varied and they have a variety of things to play with. Overall I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Overall Experience

My son started in the toddler room at the beginning of April and the staff have all been amazing supporting him to settle. The staff plan activities which keep the children engaged and my son always comes home smiling. They have a large outdoor garden that the children access every day alongside bikes,

a mud kitchen and various garden toys. They provide a variety of food all in line with a balanced diet providing breakfast, lunch (which is a hot meal), tea and snacks in between all prepared at the nursery by the nursery chef. Food, nappies, wipes etc are all included in the price so there are no hidden costs. I can't fault the nursery in how supportive they have been throughout the settling-in period. I am very happy with everything!

Overall Experience

Our son has been attending the nursery since November 2023, about a month after it opened. The team are always welcoming and friendly, and they always welcome our son directly when he is dropped off. The facilities available have improved since he started with more things being delivered for them to

use, play with and explore. He particularly enjoys the garden and exploring outside. The team do sensory and craft things with them as well and we have had a few mementoes through - salt dough, paintings, cards etc.
Our son has a dairy allergy and the team have been great in ensuring that he has dairy-free food and milk available.

My daughter has attended since she was 10 months old and absolutely loves it. She has developed so well with walking, articulating herself, playing with others and eating a varied balanced diet and I believe a big part of this is down to the nursery and all the wonderful staff. I cannot praise them

enough for what a wonderful job they do and highly recommend.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has been attending this establishment since it first opened. Whilst the start was a very bumpy experience for us as parents and our daughter, our child received nothing but great care.
We have been getting daily updates when collecting her in terms of what she did throughout the day as

well as all nappy changes and how much she has eaten.
Those updates are now done via online portal and you are able to see what your little one does.
The staff at the nursery are very helpful and our daughter has a bond with almost every single one of them. She enjoys going there and we can see a massive jump in her development since she started.
We highly recommend Ashbourne Day Nursery at Houghton Regis!

Excellent and friendly staff who genuinely show care. My son started with the nursery at 3 months old and now he just turned 2 years. It's been an amazing experience and I know the future years at the nursery will be more exciting. My son has developed a lot and continues to develop because of the excellent

expertise the staff has. The staff is always happy and they take the time to know you as the parent when you drop off or pick up your child. They genuinely care. Most of the staff work overtime to ensure that the children come to a clean environment to play and learn.

Really friendly team. My baby is really happy there. They keep up to date with everything and make the transition so easy and calm. Good variety of food and activities. 1st-time mum so found it really hard to leave my little one but I wouldn’t leave her now with anyone else.

My son has been at Ashbourne since December 2021 having previously been at a childminder and having a bad experience. We were super worried about him settling but the caring staff welcomed him and ensured his experience was positive from day one. All the staff are kind, nurturing and provide an excellent

Lovely setting and with a friendly and caring team supporting my child’s learning developments. My little one is so excited to arrive at nursery everyday and runs in for big cuddles with the staff. Overall Experience

My twins started here in April at 22 months. After spending so much time together with lockdowns I was very nervous/anxious about leaving them. By the second day that changed, I realised how wonderful it was for them, how much they already loved it and continue to do so. They look forward to going.

Always smiling when I drop them and pick them up. Their development is really coming along too. The staff are fantastic and very friendly. Really put me at ease when I was nervous about leaving them. The twins run in, I’m lucky to get a kiss goodbye! Brilliant lunches and snacks too. My daughter often has seconds! Highly, highly recommend.

Overall Experience

My son visits this nursery 5-days a week and really enjoys his time there. He has learned lots of new skills when it comes to learning new things. Most of all, he seems very happy and content. Also, the staff are very welcoming and friendly! Would recommend this nursery.
