Overall Experience

Our son attended Ladybird Nursery - Penge from just over 3 years old until he left for school aged almost 5 and he absolutely loved it there. He settled in very quickly after moving from his childminder and developed strong relationships with both his peers and the team. The nursery is relatively small,

which helps create a cosy, family-like feel and the lovely staff contribute to this. I never needed to worry about his well-being while he was in their care. They also put a lot of emphasis on the children's emotional and mental development which really helped our son transition into Reception when it was sadly time to say goodbye to Ladybird. I wholeheartedly recommend the nursery and will hopefully be using it again in the future!

Overall Experience

We cannot speak highly enough of Ladybird! Our daughter has been attending for over a year and found the first few months incredibly difficult to settle. Not only did all the staff show an endless amount of patience and love but at no point did they make me feel like it was hard work, nor did they treat

my daughter any differently from the other children. She has absolutely thrived at Ladybird. The staff have created such a nurturing, family-like environment that she found the transition into the toddler room an absolute breeze and asks to go to nursery every day! We cannot praise all the staff highly enough and have recommended Ladybird to other parents we know in the area.

Overall Experience

We've been with Ladybird Nursery for 6 years total with my 2 children and we've had a fantastic experience with them. My kids absolutely loved coming to nursery every day, they enjoyed the activities, made friends and bonded with their teachers. The staff have been so lovely and attentive to the kids,

I have nothing but praise for them. During Covid, they went above and beyond to look after the kids according to health and safety guidelines. The kids were well prepared for school and still say how much they miss nursery. I am grateful to the staff for making this journey so enjoyable for my kids.

Overall Experience

We loved our time at Ladybird and we're very sad to leave, due to relocation. Our daughter started there at 14 months and was welcomed warmly, and made to feel comfortable, safe and very entertained!
The team have always taken very good care of her, and we've been thrilled to see all the activities

and games she played. We quickly saw a real progression in her language and skills, and she developed her first little friendships, which was lovely to see.
There has been staff turnover during our 9 months at the nursery, which I think is to be expected, but she made quick bonds with incoming staff, and two staff members, in particular, were there throughout and were absolutely fantastic.

Overall Experience

Our daughter started attending Ladybird Nursery Anerley between 2021 and 2024 (starting at 10 months). During covid and lockdowns we essentially only had a handful of reviews to use to choose the nursery and were naturally very worried - but everything went great - daily photos and updates did wonders

to reassure in the baby class. Later on it was beautiful to see the confidence and character of our daughter develop and I am very happy we went here.
Naturally, there were moments when it was harder - particularly when moving rooms, developmental leap and readjusting on coming back from holidays all coincided. At those moments the two-way affection displayed between the key person and our daughter was the main force reassuring us that we were leaving her in good hands.

Overall Experience

Our son attended Ladybird Anerley for 2 years, aged 1 to 3, and I can't recommend it highly enough. All the teachers are so friendly and form lovely bonds with the children. They also remember parents' names and are really good at updating the app throughout the day with information about sleep, food,

toilet visits and then lots of photos. They were particularly helpful with potty training! I liked the small rooms meaning our son got lots of attention from the teachers and formed some great friendships. The garden is great and external companies provide athletics and Spanish classes.

Overall Experience

Our little one has been attending Ladybird Nursery since 7 months until the end of her time in preschool. I couldn't have been more happy with the care and attention from the carers. They are so knowledgeable about children and loved the kids. Even graduating from baby to toddler and preschool room

- all the teachers know all the kids as all rooms do interact and play. There were different activities going on between the sports teacher, music time, yoga, Spanish classes. We saw huge leaps in her development not only when she started but also as she interacted with older kids. She was running in to play! Additionally, I found management were very helpful with parents and we found some carers were open to babysitting (albeit it is arranged outside Ladybird). We were so lucky to have found Ladybird to be a wonderful fit for our little one!

Overall Experience

I would really recommend Ladybird Anerley. My first son joined at age 2 in the toddler room and is about to start Primary school, and my youngest started at age 1 in the baby room. Both have flourished here becoming caring, confident boys who love to learn.
The staff really care about the children

and take the time to get to know them and to bond with them right from the baby room up to the preschool room. Each Key Worker that we've had has been wonderful and really supported the boys in their different stages of development.
The children do all sorts of fun activities, messy play and reading which keep the children engaged all day and they love to tell me about it when they come home. Mini Athletics and Spanish are a big hit!
We're going to be so sad to leave Ladybird!

Overall Experience

My child has attended this nursery since December 2020. From day one the staff made her feel happy and safe. All the team care so much for the children they look after and the nursery has a warm family feel. She's grown in confidence since attending. She will start school ready with all the solid foundations

she needs to succeed and that is because of her time here.

We had a really great experience despite signing our daughter in, in the middle of lockdown and covid restrictions. Paula showed us around via zoom and was very helpful over the call with all of our questions. The two years my daughter attended we could see her development, she loved going in, she was

always talking about her friends and the staff were here best friend too. She was well taken care of and loved. The staff always made sure there is something special going on let it be sports day, mother or fathers days, Christmas or a Childs Birthday. We couldn't have chosen a better nursery for our little one. We will be forever grateful for the amazing start she had in the nursery.

Overall Experience

Our eldest daughter has just left Ladybird to go to school and our youngest is still there. We have had a brilliant experience the last couple of years and our kids have always felt safe and loved. The teachers all really care about the little ones and are very warm and friendly and you can really tell

how hard they all work and how happy the kids are around them. We have felt very lucky to be part of the community there and are grateful for everything they do!

Overall Experience

My daughter spent around a year at Ladybird Beckenham, joining straight into the pre-school group. The staff we amazing in supporting her transition from home to nursery. They supported both her and us, as slightly anxious parents, through the whole process. Once settled, she absolutely loved the nursery

she developed immensely in her time there. The whole team were fantastic, the activities for the kids were engaging and educational. Can't recommend it more highly!

We have thoroughly enjoyed the two years our son has been at Ladybird Nursery-Thornsett. We are very grateful and appreciative for the time, care and attention the teachers have spent looking after our son. Developing his skills, socialising and general behaviours. This was made extremely hard whilst

the nursery remained open during the pandemic where working conditions were clearly exceptionally harder. The energy and effort from all the staff has been very evident to us and the fact our son comes home every day with a smile. Having enjoyed his day is the only real endorsement you need. If we have another child, we will return.

Overall Experience

I would really recommend Ladybird Nursery Anerley to anyone. My son moved to this nursery when he was 2, and he was instantly so much happier. All the staff genuinely care about the children, and the nursery has a real warmth to it. I can't comment too much on the younger spaces as my son didn't use

those rooms. But the preschool rooms are fantastic. There's lots to play with, lots of group activities and lots of work that goes into helping them voice their emotions and prepare for school.
My son has just started school now and it's been really obvious how much and how well they prepared him for the transition. He was very sad to leave Ladybird!

Both our children had a fantastic experience with Ladybird Beckenham. The staff are brilliant and really caring, the kids love them. The nursery provides a good range of activities and the children have left well-prepared for school. They frequently take the children on small trips out to the park or

nearby places, and occasionally have activities come into the nursery. The nursery has always been very supportive and has been a lovely setting for our kids.

Overall Experience

Sending our daughter to Ladybird was one of the best things we decided to do. She joined at 11 months - and like most parents in those early days, I felt really nervous about whether she would get along okay with it. The friendly nursery teachers straight away put our minds at rest and within two weeks,

our daughter could barely contain her excitement as soon as we walked into the front porch!
The levels of detail and care are another level to what we would expect, with daily communication, regular updates on the app, and fast responses should we have any questions. At 4pm we get 30+ photos of all the things she has been up to in the day, plenty of time outdoors as well as indoors getting creative, messy, and having lots of fun with her new friends! My heart melts at how much she adores her key workers and watching the strong and genuine bonds she is making there make me very happy. I feel very lucky to know that we will have many more wonderful and fun years here.

Overall Experience

I highly recommend Ladybird Nursery. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The facilities are well-maintained and designed to foster a safe and creative learning environment. The communication and photos I received every day about my child’s progress were amazing.

It’s evident that the staff takes the time to understand each child’s strengths and areas for growth. I’m grateful for the positive impact they have had on my child’s early years and therefore I highly recommend Ladybird Nursery to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their little one.
