A lovely setting that is clean and well organised. A great variety of food. My daughter was very happy here. My daughter was always welcomed and the staff were very friendly and professional. My daughter went to Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) from six months old until starting school.

Disappointed and angry with the way I was treated recently. Had to put a notice in as couldn’t afford their price increase from March to then not allow my children in one day as I couldn’t pay 2 bills there and then. I always paid my bills at the end of every month from September to February and this
wasn’t a problem until I put my notice in. Within days with no notice was refused entry with my children feeling very confused and angry as I wasn’t paid until the following week I couldn’t afford February and March bills put together. My children left crying and couldn’t understand why the manager had spoken to mummy the way she did. Not once did I have a contract to say the date of bills. I did not receive any bills in my parents account (apart from one or two) so had to guess my bills most of the time, and the cheek of it all is that not once have I received an apology for the way I was spoken to. Poor management and only the lovely accountant had apologised to me for the way the staff had behaved.

I have only recently returned to use the service provided and have found the staff to be very helpful and considerate, also it’s great to have bilingual staff in the setting, in keeping with our family values. The activities and experiences provided by the setting are diverse and child-focused. The
children enjoy and speak very fondly of Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown).

Our kids love it here. A lot of toys and books are available. All staff are very helpful and involved in children’s care. They have varied programmes walks and some outings planned that my kids love. They provide 3 meals with plenty of variety.

My son has gone to Pobl Bach since he was a year old, the staff made a heart-wrenching time when you separate from your child after maternity a much easier and happier process for both of us. The care and attention they give every child are fantastic and they are always friendly to us parents too and
are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you have. We have never felt anything but welcome and part of the family. My son is now 6 and is going to the ELC and still loves it.

My boys have been cared for by the Pobl Bach family (because they are like family to us) since they were 11 months old.
Now at 7 and 8, we use the after school and holiday care at the ELC site.
Everyone is fantastic and very accommodating to each child’s needs. The kids love going, they go in happy
and come out happy with stories to tell and crafts to bring home.
I cannot express how grateful I am to the caters and managers and all the staff behind the scenes for their patient care and attention.

I sent my 12-year-old to Pobl Bach and now my 4-year-old is attending also. They both loved/ love going and I have had only a great experience with the nursery.


The kids' development is always the staff's main priority and their playtime always involves learning through play. They make sure to include

art activities and promote positive relationships with little ones to learn life skills.

Amazing service, so friendly and welcoming they were so patient with my little one especially after she was born a week before lockdown and hadn't met anyone couldn't fault them and the food meals they provide were amazing made sure her food pallet was full of difference flavours for her to try. Lovely staff. Good variety of food. I didn't have to worry about my son who has gluten intolerance.

Absolutely brilliant nursery, my son was there for 3 years and enjoyed every minute of it. Brilliant communication even though I was at work I didn’t feel like I’d missed out on anything as the details on his day given were so good followed by photos. The staff and management are amazing.
My son came
on so well from being there and made moving up to primary school a walk in the park. The effort with learning they put in with the children is worth every penny.

Both my children have attended the nursery since the age of 6months. The facilities, staff and planned activities have been excellent throughout their time, which has provided them with invaluable key skills and development.


The staff have been amazing throughout and provide quality care and have

become a part of our extended family with all their help and support.
Both of my children have enjoyed attending the nursery setting and have made a lovely rapport with the staff and other children.


These days we take advantage of the ELC (After school and holiday club) that they offer, which has meant we have been able to keep the children in a familiar setting and part of the Pobl Bach family ??

Both my little girls have gone to Pobl Bach Nursery - Llangunnor (with the eldest now in school and the youngest still attending) and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.
The staff are excellent and are from what I can see very good with the children and form very strong bonds with
those in their care. My youngest has created a bond with one staff member in particular and runs to them when they come to collect them at the door. Both of my girls have always been happy to go to all the staff members and always come out full of smiles at the end of the day. This nursery has also greatly helped with both my little ones learning and social skills.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff. I love that you are updated via an app throughout the day about what they've eaten, nappy changes, sleep times, activities etc. Highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Pobl Bach since he was 11 months old, he’s set to start school in a couple of weeks and I’m very saddened to be taking him out of this nursery, they’ve given him the best start I could have wished for, when I was browsing nurseries everybody local recommended Pobl Bach, they
are known for being the best nursery in Carmarthen and I’m so glad I went with that advice, every member of staff cares for him like he’s there own, such a lovely setting and atmosphere, highly recommend!

My son had a wonderful experience at the nursery from day one. He joined after his first birthday and was cared for with professionalism and love by the entire team until he started full-time school and joined the Early Learning Centre after-school club. My daughter has been in Pobl Bach since she was 6 months old. She is now 9. The staff have cared for her so well that she still loves going (now to the Early Learning Centre) and feels so at home there. There is always something organised to stimulate her interest and I trust the staff completely to
support her and care for her. Pobl Bach has been part of our lives and as a single parent, I feel they support me as she grows and develops. They know her and are like family with her, like a special Aunty.
