Little Learners Nurseries are commercial initiatives belonging to LifeLine Projects: A charity with over 15 years' experience of working in Early Years provision and 17 years' experience of working with parents.

The charity, established in 2000, has a strong value-base, which flourishes because of its faith-inspired roots. It is all about impacting individuals and influencing systems: The vision is to build thriving communities, where no-one is isolated or lonely and everyone has the opportunity to give back. The values pervade all areas of work and are the drivers behind the way the programmes support people to become agents of change within their communities.

Cultivating a culture where children learn through play is therefore very important to Little Learners. They are very keen to build children’s confidence, social skills and whet their appetite to learn by providing a range of age-appropriate daily activities. Each of their nurseries works to the Early Years framework, offering a safe and stimulating environment from which every child who leaves them is well prepared and ready for school, determined to continue learning and have a positive effect on their friends and school community.

Little Learners makes the most of the expertise provided by the managers at both their locations by regularly sharing ideas and resources between their nurseries during fortnightly ideas meetings.

Incredible nursery! It's extremely daunting as a parent considering a nursery for your child but from day 1 being shown around, settling in days and even to date, I could not fault the nursery one bit. My son absolutely loves going and adores all the staff members he interacts with. He has formed really
strong bonds and often talks about them outside of nursery which just reassures me in every way possible that he is happy there. The staff have been incredibly welcoming not just to my son but to me as well understanding it is also a new experience for myself too. It honestly feels like an extended little family. One of the first names my child said actually happened to be a staff member! The handovers and drop-offs couldn't be better. I received a huge smile to set off the day and a really informative and friendly handover telling me exactly what my son has been doing throughout his time there. I know I made the right decision and picked the best nursery for us. Thank you to all the staff.

Since starting at Little Learners our daughter has gone from strength to strength in all areas of her development. We always feel safe and happy dropping her off in the morning happy in the knowledge she will always be very well looked after. The staff there are always friendly, diligent and professional.

It's been a wonderful experience for my child and I really have not found an area that needs improvement. The teachers and staff have been wonderful, supportive and caring and I could not ask for more.

I can't recommend it highly enough. All of the staff are wonderful and so kind and warm. There are lots of activities for the kiddies during the day, great food, lovely rooms, it is so well run but above all, you have the feeling that the staff really care. Our little boy loves it.

I could not be happier with my experience with Little Learners. My little boy has been attending since he was 18 months in October 2023. The nursery staff are super friendly, attentive and engaging! My little boy goes happily every morning, with a big smile on his face. The nursery keeps us up to date
with daily activities via the app and I love seeing all the pictures of the fun he is getting up to! Thank you Little Learners for caring for my son in such a great way! Highly recommend to other parents.

Since my daughter has been going to Little Learners she has improved a lot in her speech and has become more confident, she is always learning new things and tells us all about it when she gets home. Little Learners have been great. My little girl attended for four years from the age of 1 through to almost 5 and my little boy has now been there for a year. My little boy has settled into Little Learners Ambleside Avenue very well. The staff are all so brilliant, warm, friendly and do such an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Little Learners St Nicholas Avenue. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere put us at ease. The staff are not just professionals, they’re attentive and caring individuals who genuinely love what they do. Our children are flourishing
under their guidance, developing both academically and socially, enjoying enriching activities. The facilities are safe and provide a stimulating environment for them to learn, play and eat healthy! The communication with parents is outstanding, keeping us informed and involved every step of the way! My little one joined at 11 months old and from day one I’ve been so pleased with the care he receives. He does such a range of activities which are shown through photos on the app, and all his needs are catered for. The staff are so friendly and he’s grown real attachments with them and it’s such a
relief to be able to go to work knowing he is so happy. If I have any problems the nursery staff are always on hand to answer any questions. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to send their child to nursery. Amazing staff. My little one keeps repeating one staff member in particular at home, and in the morning he is running to the nursery room leader to have her cuddle, he doesn’t care about me anymore to say bye-bye. It does make me feel so happy and I know my child is happy and he loves all the staff.

Little Learners is such a lovely, warm and welcoming nursery. Cannot ask more from Little Learners, what a fantastic team and feel a lot more relieved when I drop my child in the morning that they are taken care of by such a compassionate and caring team. The nursery provides updates throughout the day and the team go above and beyond, for example my child is
being potty trained at home and this has also been incorporated in the nursery. It is such a fantastic place for my child that I have also decided to send my baby to Little Learners too in due course.

The support, care, and attention that our son gets from the team at Little Learners is great. Nothing is too much trouble for them and as a parent, I couldn't be happier with the staff.
Our eldest son left last August to go to reception and they prepared him for the next step well.
Our younger boy
is at Little Learners and the team supports his needs and requirements in every way. His eyes light up when the girls open the door to him in the morning. He enjoys going, and as a parent, I couldn't ask for more.

Great nursery, and great staff. My child loves it there and my older child used to go too. Highly recommended. The choice of food, the outside space, the trips to the local park, and the activities throughout the seasons are all fantastic and I feel my child is learning a lot there.

Both my children have attended Little Learners (St Nicholas) with my youngest moving over to the Ambleside setting in January 2023 to make the school run a little easier! The staff at both settings are absolutely brilliant and the transfer was such a smooth process.
It’s a testament to the staff that
my little one has settled in so well at Ambleside. She absolutely loves it there and has built such a good bond with the staff, who are so caring. They really go above and beyond and have been very proactive in trying different techniques to encourage our little fussy eater. Communication from the staff is great and I love getting updates on what my little one has been up to.
The nursery itself is spacious and secure, with a lovely little garden area. As parents we have absolutely no hesitation in leaving our child here knowing how well cared for she is!
