This nursery is appalling if a child is not a seamless developer and my child is not. In addition to inexplicable excuses for huge bumps on my child's head from a fall straight into a gate, to my child getting sunburnt and not receiving the reviews on development in conjunction with the requirements,
the nursery decided to undertake a review of my child on the last day at the nursery without informing me as the parent.
Secondly, the owner after 5 years of attending still had no idea who I was and made no effort to improve things. For the most part, staff are young and inexperienced. This has changed a lot since COVID and the turnover of staff is exceptionally high with no organisation. Management of this location is poor and they do not help the children prepare for school and the change in environment. Phonics development is poor too.

We put our heart and soul into quality care and education. Covid exacerbated issues in recruiting and retaining staff across the industry. Staff joining our teams all have a passion for delivering high-quality care in a nurturing environment. Accidents are regrettable but if you were not happy with how any accident had happened you had the option to decline to sign the report and discuss it with the onsite manager at the time. It is standard practice when a child moves to another setting to produce a report to support and enable a smooth transition for them. Our focus is to ensure that children are emotionally ready to go to school and we have always found that much of the other learning happens very naturally alongside. I cannot imagine what the motivation is for the tone of this review. Issues that arise are dealt with in partnership with parents. I am at a loss to understand why these issues were not raised at the time. I can only hope that your new setting is more suited to you and your family's needs.

I have three children who have all attended or are currently attending Shapes Nursery, and I cannot fault this nursery. They have been wonderful in every way, providing support at every step of the journey. I fall in love with the teachers every time; it's so comforting to know you're leaving your children
with such caring and nurturing individuals. I can't recommend Shapes enough.

It’s a really hard decision to make when looking for someone else to look after your most precious gifts in the world. Shapes Day Nursery made the whole process of going back to work so much easier for me. They helped put my mind and feeling of guilt at ease. The staff are so lovely and all the children
love them so much. I love the way all staff know all the children’s names and likewise. I felt it was like one big family, which helped me make up my mind in choosing them, along with the lovely home cooked food menu, and great garden I have never looked back since, all the love care and compassion is shown every day. My baby has been going now since September 2021, and she was only 6 months old when she started. They have all helped her grow and achieve her milestones along the way. They have no problems in taking time to listen to your worries, achievements or even your babbles after a sleepless night! They are so caring. I am so glad I chose Shapes Day Nursery and would highly recommend to anyone.

I am highly recommending Shapes Nursery in Reigate. My son started in May and I can see good changes in his personality, he's become more independent, more sociable with other children and his appetite improved. I am extremely happy with the care that the staff are providing for my son.

We can’t recommend this nursery enough. Our eldest went there, and our other son and now our baby is there, and they have all absolutely loved every second. The staff are all lovely, and we can see that through our baby too, always a smile on to go to nursery. I have no doubts and have never had any
concerns. A cut above the rest!

I've had three children go to Shapes (the eldest is now 13 years old!), and there is absolutely nothing I can fault the nursey on. The service and team are as good today as they were 11 years ago. All my children have been so happy there and can't wait to get there. Thank you all so much.

My daughter has attended Shapes Day Nursery in Reigate for six months now, and I cannot rate them highly enough. They were so lovely, kind and reassuring in the beginning when I was so apprehensive about leaving her, as she had never been with anyone other than myself or her father before. She now waves
me goodbye at drop-off as she is so excited to start her day there. I love how the staff have a little story to tell you at pick-up about what your child has done that day. You can really tell they care.

From the moment I stepped inside Shapes Reigate, I knew this was the place for our daughter. It was bright, exciting, and most importantly, it felt safe. I could see children playing freely with all the different toys/activities set up on the tables, and the staff fully engaged with the children. My
daughter was invited in to play, and the children were so kind and gentle; this I fully believe comes from having nurturing staff that creates a friendly and inclusive environment. My little one loves the outdoor playground, and it’s always a good day when they have visited the soft play area! We used to have tears at drop-off at a previous setting, but now I have to work hard to get her to come home! I have full faith and trust in the staff to not only look after but to nurture my child whilst she is with them, and I have seen this in person when catching a sneak peek at pick-up. We are so happy that she will have a few more years here! Highly recommend!

There aren't enough positive descriptive words in the dictionary that can help me describe Shapes.
Shapes are the most incredible nursery you could choose for your child.
Shapes not only help your child to develop in all areas physically, mentally and emotionally, but they care for your child as if
your child was their own.
You will never have to worry or fear about your child's safety or happiness here, and the staff always go above and beyond to care for not just the child, but for you as well.
My children have been attending Shapes since 2018, and I'm going to be sad the day my son leaves.
I can't recommend Shapes highly enough; you will not be disappointed in this nursery. The facilities, the food, the staff and the enjoyment that this nursery offers are impeccable.
The nursery is clean. It's bright. It's fun, it's loving, and it's always full of smiles.
By far this is the best decision I ever made for my children to send them here, and I cannot thank Shapes enough.

Both of our children have attended Shapes over the last four years, and we have been delighted with it. Our kids settled so well, and the staff have always been so supportive and caring towards the children and us. Both children have learnt so much and been prepared for starting reception perfectly.
We have recommended Shapes to friends whose children now also attended and have loved the experience as much as we have. Cannot fault it at all and will be sad to say our final goodbyes in September. Thanks to all the amazing staff!

My daughter has attended Shapes Day Nursery, Banstead for over 6 months now, currently in the baby room. It is a really lovely nursery, the staff are kind and nurturing and you can tell they really care for the children they look after. I have recommended Shapes Day Nursery to several other parents
and will continue to do so. The setting itself still looks brand new, it’s always clean and the garden area is lovely, too. The inside soft play used by all the children at different times of day is a real bonus too.

My son has been attending Shapes since the age of one and has been there for nearly two years now. The team at Shapes is really wonderful. Two ladies do a great job of overseeing everything and are good at keeping parents up-to-date. During Covid-19, they were great at striking a balanced approach to
keeping children and staff safe.
Each of the rooms has great nursery staff who are caring and compassionate with the children. I feel that my son is in safe hands with them. In terms of my son's cognitive, social, and emotional development, I feel that the staff has made a huge contribution here. He always goes into and leaves nursery a happy boy.
I would happily recommend Shapes to any parent!

We have been sending our son to Shapes for nearly two years now. We (and him) love it there. The facilities are amazing, nothing is dated - like other nurseries we looked at in the local area. The staff have been brilliant, and our son has flourished, whilst in their care. Staff and managers are always
on hand and answer any questions/queries promptly. Our son is excited and happy to go to nursery and always comes out with a big smile. Highly recommended!

My daughter started Shapes when she was 10 months old in Feb 2022, and it was the best decision we made!
I absolutely loved the nursery when I walked through the doors and knew she would be so happy there, and we weren’t wrong! The place is so bright, colourful and clean, which is really important
to me. It also has a soft play onsite, which is a great addition.
The ladies in the baby room who look after her are amazing! Picking her up at the end of the day and seeing her smile makes me know it was the right choice.

My daughter joined in early 2020 (age 2), and despite Covid, she has thrived at Shapes. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and passionate about caring for the children. Always there to give the kids a hug if they’re upset. If you are nervous about leaving your little one in care, don’t be! My
daughter loves being at Shapes, and we will all miss the staff so much when she leaves for school, but so happy we chose this nursery. It is modern, clean and well-run. Children enjoy the food - my daughter often goes back for seconds, and the play area outside and soft play are both fun for the kids. I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have sent two children to Shapes and cannot praise them enough. Both of my kids have thrived there, being supported in using baby signs before they had verbal language and then developing quickly under their care.
I knew as soon as I visited Shapes that it was the right nursery for us - the staff
are welcoming and engaged, the kids are happy and always involved in a range of activities, and as they get older, they experience dance and language lessons that are included in the fees. The site is colourful, full of the kids' gorgeous artwork and doesn't have the corporate vibe that some nurseries do. The outside space is also well imagined and provides lots of fun activities for children to take part in.
Shapes are pragmatic when it comes to child illness, did incredibly well through Covid and have honestly felt like an extension of our family.
I would encourage you to take a look and see for yourselves; you'll know quickly if Shapes resonates with you in the way that it did for us.
