Overall Experience

Honestly Jack In The Box has been absolutely amazing for my little one. He was a lockdown baby and he's come on leaps and bounds, and they keep you updated via the app with the children's progression. The staff go above and beyond with support for the children and the family. This is probably one of

the best nursery's I've ever come across in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

My boy has just finished nursery before starting school in September. He has been at Jack In The Box for over 3 years. The recipes that went on here are I feel quite skewed. Most reviews are from before the nursery was taken over in September 2023. The nursery deserved its outstanding rating however

since the takeover the nursery has gone downhill as then shown by a recent Ofsted inspection with a good rating. I don't know a single member of staff of the 30 who is still there (the cook has just left!). There used to be a good ratio of staff to children now it seems the minimum levels as provided. The app is provided with a couple of pictures, often with the same activity and a very brief overview. My child didn't seem to feel as stretched as they used to. If he wasn't going to school in September I would have moved him to a different setting. Most staff seem to be young and starting their childcare with very few experienced people there. I would rate this nursery as good at best.

Overall Experience

Jack in the Box Nursery is truly outstanding. The staff build meaningful and caring relationships with the children in their care and go above and beyond on a daily basis.
The learning environment is calm and inviting and promotes a real curiosity for learning whilst building social skills. Adults

move learning forward through their questioning and finding out what children are interested in.
Communication is excellent. Email correspondence is responded to within hours and all paperwork is completed and available for parents to access. Key people give daily updates on all aspects of your child's day and are able to answer any questions parents have.
The nursery uses an app to communicate photographs of what your child has been doing throughout the day with detailed comments and next steps.
I can not recommend this nursery enough, I wouldn't have my child go anywhere else!

This nursery is first class. Their SENCO/SEN team is fantastic too. They have provided the absolute best support and care for my son and for me. They go above and beyond every single time. The staff are just so lovely, friendly, professional, very skilled, approachable and extremely caring. They will

put your child and your child's need first. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them all. Such a wonderful outdoor space, and so many brilliant activities the children love. We received in depth regular progress reports and they would regularly liaise with other health care professionals, such as speech and language teams etc. I would recommend this nursery 100%, it is the best care possible for your children.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending Cleverclogs for a year now and he loves it. Knowing he is happy and safe gives me peace of mind each day. The staff are caring and engaging with the children and know them each individually. The garden is an amazingly big space and my little one loves to explore whenever he

can. Really lovely nursery and have recommended it to other parents looking for a nursery in the local area.

I was nervous to send my little boy to nursery, but he's settled in so well at Cleverclogs. The staff are brilliant and he absolutely loves it - it's been so good for his development.

Overall Experience

Both my children have attended Cleverclogs, and I couldn’t wish for a better nursery/preschool. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are just wonderful and so great with the children and parents. The children get to do so many lovely activities, and we have so many keepsakes from their time at Cleverclogs.

I will miss the staff greatly when my little boy starts school.

Overall Experience

Our daughter has been with the nursery for a year and a half now. She absolutely loves going to Cleverclogs and seeing all the wonderful staff. I can tell it’s more of a home from home experience.
The staff treat all the children as their own along with helping them develop and evolve into the little

people they are becoming.
They do lots of different activities and I love our daughter coming home with paintings and gifts she’s helped make (we especially loved the Christmas decorations).
We can’t praise the nursery enough for all the hard work they put in every single day to make sure our daughter and all the children are cared for and have a fun time. Thank you.

I think the fact our son sometimes clings to the door frame, not wanting to leave when we come to pick him up, just speaks volumes about Cleverclogs! He had attended for the last nine months and we have been so impressed with what we’ve seen. The staff are brilliant and you can tell they really care

about the children. They do some lovely activities and have lots of things for the children to do/play with. The garden is fabulous too, especially with the addition of the vegetable patch. Really lovely, kind and caring nursery.

Jack In The Box Nursery - Hempnall has the perfect setting with a huge outside space. The children spend lots of time outside and they even have an outside classroom and toilet which mine have enjoyed using.
Having a shy anxious daughter we were always worried where to send her where she would be happy

but we have never had any issues with Jack In The Box Nursery - Hempnall. All of the girls that work there are so welcoming and tailor the children’s day to suit their needs. They make the children feel loved and I never worry that my children won’t feel safe and happy at drop off (even if they go in sad). I highly recommend this nursery.

I would highly recommend Jack In The Box Nursery. The office manager/staff are extremely helpful and efficient whenever I have had to email or call them.
The nursery staff are all very friendly l and approachable.
There are always interesting and educational “stations” set up each day which you

can see has had a lot of thought go into the planning of the days.
My daughter has always had positive words to describe her day at nursery which makes me really happy knowing that she is in safe, capable hands!

Overall Experience

My son has been there for a while now and he loves it. They teach the kids so well, basics of speaking/behaviours and setting boundaries in line with how we do at home too. We get great communication at the end of days in there/through the day if any issues arise, the staff there seem to care about

the kids so much, my sons always talking about them in such nice ways and has bonded with a few of them so well.
Car park is a bit ropey, almost lost a bumper on the way in, but the area round the back for the kids looks great. Gardens and play areas are spot on.
Send round a menu regularly and the food has a good balance in there.
Can’t fault the place or the people over the last year.
