Overall Experience

My daughter started before and after school club in September. Her time here was wonderful, she loved getting involved with activities with two staff members. As I've not really left her before other than apart from school nursery I was nervous at first but the staff made me feel so at ease with updates

of how she was doing and how she was coming from nursery. I can't thank them enough for the support and care they gave my daughter.

Overall Experience

I would highly recommend The Bungalow. My little boy is 10 months into his adventure with them. At just 20 months old, he now struts down the path, to the door, knocks on and climbs up the step and lets himself in. Straight over to the breakfast table to join his friends and waves me off with a mouthful

of Shreddies. The nursery update you on an app regarding nappy changes, meals and fun activities and special milestones that they have reached. He has built such a lovely relationship with all the staff there and it's evident that all the girls love their job and are always thinking of fun and exciting activities for the children. The nursery uses day to day items that the children would see in their own home which really gives it a home to home feeling. The bungalow has a great sized garden for the children to run and play and get messy in! My little boy never comes home clean and I see that as a massive bonus. I want him to come home looking like he's had the best day ever.

Overall Experience

Since joining this nursery my child has improved her learning skills and made lots of friends. This has helped her speech development and learning skills.
The staff members have been very helpful in helping her make herself understand and communicate using the correct vocabulary so that others children

and teachers know what she is talking about.

Overall Experience

Lovely and caring staff, always look after our daughter so well. She is always so happy to go in as she always has a nice day. They arrange different activities for the children all the time. Great app to keep up with what our child is doing in nursery each day, accompanied with pictures and videos

which make us so happy to see.
Will definitely be bringing our next child to this nursery too!

Overall Experience

Sky high achievers is such a cosy, warm nursery where you are made to feel welcome at all times. Both my son and daughter have attended this nursery. Soon after they both started their speech came on rapidly!
They give nothing but love to the children here and are genuinely there for the children

and their development.
All of the ladies that work inside this nursery are amazing people, I am fussy about a lot of things with my children but they respect all of my wishes 100% and go above and beyond for anything I'd ask.
Couldn't have picked a better nursery for my children to learn and grow. Me and dad really do recommend sky high Denton!

Overall Experience

Would not recommend this nursery, it was so much better when it was the previous owners! Once Sky High took over it lost the homely and happy feel to the place. It's been updated inside but just looks like every other corporate nursery. The management are so rude and nothing is kept confidential. The

manager would often tell you about other children and parents. My children have developed so much since moving nursery and I'm so glad I moved them from here. The corporate-run nursery lacks the homely feel. The area manager is so rude and patronising. My son is waiting for his diagnosis for Autism and when he attended this nursery they were so slow at sending paperwork off and liaising with other professionals. There were 3 good staff members that remained from the previous owners and they are the only thing that's good about the place.

I am saddened to read your review about our nursery. First you comment it was much better; actually the previous nursery had received 2 inadequate inspections from OFSTED, prior to us registering. We are in no way associated with the previous setting. Your comment about us being less homely is somewhat subjective, you've only got to read our other reviews and look at our social media to see how warm, homely and inviting we have become in the last 12 months. We are a family run business and far detached from the corporate world. I am really happy that Tameside have made a huge change to their policy and are doing an early assessment. Our issue with paperwork was not due to our amazing SENCO but it was unfortunate that you had to cancel several meetings and this caused delay. I am glad you are pleased with our three staff that we TUPED over; they continue to do an amazing job alongside the other totally passionate team members on site and I will ensure I pass on your kind feedback.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending this nursery 3/4 days a week since he was 10 months old (now age 3) and I could not recommend the nursery enough. As a first-time mum, I was nervous about finding the perfect setting for him to attend however I'm so glad that I came across Sky High Achievers Denton.
The girls

are absolutely amazing and have no idea how much they have helped me in my journey as a single parent raising a little boy. They say it 'takes a village to raise a child' and I am so glad that we chose the nursery to be a part of our village.
The activities that they plan are fun and educational and I absolutely love seeing videos and pictures of my son on the dedicated app. I love that they encourage the children to be independent with things such as plating out their own food and even giving the children the opportunity to participate in preparing their own food.
The staff are always happy to answer any questions and I cannot thank them enough. I'll be sad when my boy leaves next year.

Overall Experience

This is an amazing nursery. The staff couldn't be more accommodating for me and my two little boys. I lost my children's father and my partner so tragically and was really struggling. The nursery took it upon themselves to let my little boys be picked up later than their normal times (free of charge)

and has shown me nothing but empathy and patience with what we have had to go through. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and I would like to thank the nursery for showing me sympathy and love at this hard time.

Both my children have attended Sky High Achievers Melandra and loved going, they would be soo happy to go in every morning. The staff are all lovely especially two particular members of staff, who my son adored and really helped him emotionally. I honestly wish I could have kept them there for years

it's such a safe and lovely space for both my children I couldn't recommend it enough.

Overall Experience

My son really enjoyed his time at The Bungalow. Both he and myself have received lots of support in his learning journey, he was encouraged and supported in his toilet training, speech and social/ sensory issues. Being able to leave your child in someone else's hands and feeling confident and comfortable

to do so is incredibly hard, and important as a parent, and I can say I really did feel that way.

Overall Experience

My son attended here 2021- 2023.
When we first looked around I loved the smaller setting, the staff were all welcoming and friendly and the forest school looked awesome - it was perfect!
The manager helped us apply for the free childcare hours, and we had regular progress meetings on his development.
It

became evident that our son was different, it never crossed our mind that our son could be autistic. With their guidance/support, we threw everything at it, got the referrals he needed, and applied for DLA.
Helping us navigate the EHCP process (which was really intense), they recommended specialist 121 schooling, but this was not available to him. Due to this, the nursery let our son stay an extra term with them before he started at a new resource base in a mainstream school.
I truly cannot thank them enough, our son has come on leaps and bounds whilst being there. They have become like an extended family to us and we will always be grateful for everything they have done. Thank you!

Overall Experience

I could not recommend this nursery enough! My daughter has been attending 3 days a week since she was 2, now 4 and about to leave for school. They have been incredible with her and since we all picked up on my daughter having additional needs they have done everything they can to make sure she got the

help she needs and everything she'll need to move on to school. All the staff are lovely and have been massively supportive to me and my daughter through some very rough times, they work so closely with everyone that it's like having another family. The outside is amazing, they even let the children get involved with gardening and decorating. Such a well-rounded nursery. I highly recommend to everyone for their children!

My daughter attended this nursery from January 2022 until March 2022. A lovely lady signed my daughter up as she was running the place back then but soon left as she was expecting a child. The nursery quickly settled my daughter in and eventually a lady was assigned to be my daughter's key worker and

she was a lovely girl who did truly look after my daughter efficiently when in her care I could not fault this girl at all. All was going well until new management took over and then the atmosphere changed and the new manager did not seem to know anything about me and sent me a large bill claiming I had never paid since January and charging me for days my daughter was not in attendance. Did not like her tone with me and put me off the place, then I went on another review platform and most staff had left a review of themselves which is bad and shouldn't be allowed. The outside space is fantastic, all false grass so it is safe and the nursery does cook its own meals. Rarely updated on the app.

Dear Jodie, thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that you weren't happy with the nursery and chose to leave. I note you left in March which is when we took over and fortunately have been able to make lots of very positive changes to the nursery since then. Transitioning as new owners was difficult as we only had the information we were given from the previous management. This may have been the reason you received a bill as we were not told that you had cleared your arrears which they handed over to us. We are pleased to read that the care of your child was of a high standard and we strive to continue this and indeed make further improvements.
The new manager has now settled well and is making great progress and is getting fantastic feedback from both staff and all of our new parents. I note you have scored the staff as poor and the care and yet you note in your comments that staff and care were lovely. We wish you well in your new chosen nursery.

Overall Experience

It was a good nursery until new management took over and a staff member settled my daughter well. However following a serious accident resulting in my daughter having a black eye (that still hasn't healed more than 6 weeks later) and CT scan plus 2 trips and a stay in hospital the manager and owner

(mother and daughter) told 2 different accounts of what happened and who was present at the time of the accident (email proof of this). Of course, accidents happen but the least I expect is to be told the truth.
Would not trust this new management team. Beware of recent 5* reviews on another review website, look up the names, most are staff, related to the owner, and the owner herself actually left a review! It's embarrassing! I know when I'm looking for reviews I want honest reviews from real customers not from the staff and owner/owner's relatives, as they obviously aren't going to leave a bad review.
Please do your research on this company including other nursery owned by her that was closed down following a complaint.

Was great until the new owners took over. Firing £25 fines at people for £9 underpayment. My son does shorter days. I was an hour late dropping him off, half hour late picking him up. £25 fine even though he attended for less than his 6 hours. He does Mondays and Thursdays. I pay for 12 hrs a week

52 weeks a year, on bank holidays used to be able to change to another day if they had space, not allowed anymore so I am actually paying more per session than if I sent him on Tues and Wednesday. Used to be flexible about changing days... not any more. I've cancelled his place. He always cries and says he doesn't want to go anyway so not sure what that says about the place.
