Overall Experience

This nursery was the best decision ever made. We moved our daughter from her previous nursery due to negligence and we came to Hatching Dragons because they had a bilingual programme. The care from the staff has been phenomenal. Even when our daughter struggled with her behaviour they always worked

in partnership with us, still maintained kindness towards her and she has flourished in this nursery. She loves going to nursery, and I always feel like the staff care about every child as much as their parents do. I wish she could stay at this nursery until school because their teaching is independent and dedicated. It really puts the children in a good position for when they actually start school.

Overall Experience

I had both my children attend this nursery and I must say I am extremely happy with the way they have developed. My son left to school very well-prepared.
They offer a wide range of different experiences for children from experimenting with different materials to educational visits and much more recently.

The nursery over the last year has changed and developed a lot.
Will recommend to any parent who is looking for a nursery where they feel their child is in good hands and is constantly progressing.

Fantastic loving nursery. My daughter is in the preschool room and is so happy - she runs in every day. I have been so impressed by the quality of the teaching, activities (including regular trips out in the local area), how smoothly mandarin is integrated (a new language for my daughter but she's picking

it up and never struggles to understand what's happening) but most if all the genuine affection from the staff and how well they know my daughter as an individual. I wish we'd sent her older brother there!

Overall Experience

Cannot recommend Hatching Dragonns enough. Both my children attend the nursery and will continue to do so until they’re 5.
I did actually ask if they’d look a potentially open a primary school as I don’t want my children to leave. We will definitely be using the summer camp when the time comes.
The

nutrition the children receive is excellent.
The activities the teachers provide is amazing.
The friendships formed are wonderful.
The behaviours of my children haven’t altered other than age related.
They’re excelling both inside and outside of school.
They’re extremely happy.
Most importantly they’re safe.
Highly recommend Hatching Dragons.

Overall Experience

Two of my children attend Hatching Dragons City. One in fact started in the school in Westminster before moving to the City as we moved closer to that branch. And I have to say, all throughout, the care, love and attention given to my child/children have been second to none. My little boy couldn't have

wanted better carers - he started at 9 months or so and has flourished into a determined but considerate and highly communicative little boy: caring, courteous (as much as a 2-year-old can be) and capable and I put most (if not all) of that down to their care. And my little girl started at the same age. Now in preschool, she sits happily with our Chinese books that have oral pronunciation tools built-in, pointing at the characters and objects and happily communicating what I know, from the books, to be the accurate pronunciation of the object. It's amazing and I have no doubt that the skills she's learnt here will last a lifetime - thanks to the manager. Thanks to the team!

Hatching Dragons is a top-notch nursery. Our little boy joined as an 8-month-old and people in the baby room have been nothing but great. We would have never expected the teams to be so nice and caring! Our little boy has never been so jolly and happy while the team also made sure we, as parents, felt

comfortable.
They give kids a friendly, multicultural and stimulating environment.
Also, as an organisation, Hatching Dragons is very transparent and has shown to have sound health and safety processes, thereby building trust that our child is safe at any time.

Hatching Dragons markets itself as child-led and nurturing. As well-intentioned as the caregivers are, we haven't found this to be the case. It seems more like a handy creche. They like the kids, though, and that's important.
However, there seems to be a double standard when it comes to illness at

HD. When our child was in for their settling in period, there was another child with a streaming nose, nasty, persistent cough, and streaming eyes. This child gave our child strep because we had similar symptoms days later. We kept our child home, everyone fell ill, and we lost work.
Yet when our child attended after a course of vaccinations where a fever is normal, we were sent home despite the nursery knowing this. We were then sent home two days later when we came back because, apparently, we had to send the kid off for a PCR test - something that wasn't communicated to us. Communication needs help.
The building is inaccessible with buggies and they don't do cloth nappies either.

I'm sorry that you've felt dissatisfied with our service. Unfortunately, Covid has meant that we are under significant pressure to abide by the guidance of our local authority and PHE when it comes to fevers and sickness, and following their protocols means that we have to enforce a 48 hour exclusion policy for those who are feverish, irrespective of whether its provenance is from inoculation or another sickness - the fact that we cannot possibly know presents the risk factor that Ofsted require us to mitigate. I hope most parents would understand that particularly given the last year.

With regard to children who might present as sick, again, we follow PHE guidance and our policies, which doesn't state that a cough or a runny nose is excludable. It would be sad, I think, if we cannot accommodate children for having a runny nose - parents require continuity of care, which is why the guidance from PHE is so important as it provides clarity as to the expectations for all.

Overall Experience

We never expected to find a bilingual English-Mandarin nursery for our daughter before, so we were very happy and excited when Hatching Dragons opened its door in our neighbourhood back in May this year. It’s been an amazing month for our daughter so far. She grows her confidence very well, she gets

better fitting into routines and meal times at home, and she now also starts saying and understanding more words in English and Mandarin as well. My husband and I are very happy with her progress and developments, thanks to all the professional and loving teachers and staff at Hatching Dragons. Our daughter also really enjoys her time at the nursery, she’s always very excited in the morning and very happy when gets back home. I personally feel so relieved knowing that my daughter is in the right and safe place to grow up. I would definitely recommend Hatching Dragons if you’re looking for a nursery in the Canada Water area.

Overall Experience

The bilingual environment was perfect for my daughter to settle into her new surroundings. The staff are incredibly lovely and patient with the children. They clearly have such a passion for caring for children, and it shows every day when my daughter comes home full of excitement about her day. She

loves singing the songs that she learned at the nursery. She’s had trips to the nearby farm and the natural reserve, seen butterflies grow, done Yoga and enjoyed the company of her friends. The place is also quite spacious, with a nice garden full of outdoor facilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Overall Experience

We have found Hatching Dragons Canada Water to be a superb nursery provider and our little one is so happy attending.
Whilst looking for a nursery (we spent a lot of time looking at various options) we wanted something other than just standard playtime and we are very impressed with the way the Mandarin

language is taught to the babies/children in a fun way that engages them and ensures they want to learn.
The staff are very professional and also responsive to any questions we have - always at the end of a phone if we need.
The food is excellent and sometimes I wish I was eating lunch there!
The outdoor space at the nursery is fantastic especially considering its zone 2 location. Also nearby is a nature reserve and a city farm that the nursery take the little ones to on mini day trips.
We highly recommend Hatching Dragons to other parents, particularly those looking for a nursery provider that offers language skills at a very young age.

We absolutely love Hatching Dragons and so does our baby!

Our baby loves Hatching Dragons and has so much fun there! The outside space means he gets to play outside during the lovely weather. The inside is a new refurbishment so everything is really modern. The staff take the children out on mini

adventures to the local city farm etc. which we think is really great for him.

We find the staff very caring and attentive and the 50/50 split between English and Mandarin is fantastic - something that very few nurseries offer. We hope that this will enable our baby to grasp both languages from a very early age.

The meals are excellent and have bi-weekly themes to add a fun and educational element to them. The food is always cooked fresh and the menu is sent to parents beforehand.

Wonderful learning environment with extremely caring and dedicated staff. Resources and activities are always well thought through with the children's interests in mind. Extra bonus is the dual language English-Mandarin curriculum! The nursery is in a unique location that offers plenty of opportunities

to explore nature and go on river walks. There is frequent communication with carers via their online platform and I often get live updates about what the children are doing throughout the day. Fees are a little pricey by the local area standards but you get excellent care and education for your children in return!

We have been truly blessed with our experience with this lovely nursery and lovely staff.
My baby was 12 months when he joined and they have really made it easy for us to leave our baby under their care and we have seen our child improve significantly in terms of being more sociable and more creative.

Also, we have observed that he has learned all the numbers, colours, animals and he has started to make well-structured sentences in his speaking.
The staff are all very nice and warm, I highly recommend this nursery.

Our little one has been going to Hatching Dragons for almost 4 months and we have nothing but praise for all of the staff. She is clearly enjoying it on top of picking up a language we never imagined she would get a chance to. Being what looks like a converted convent or a church, the facilities are

amazing, offering a great sense of space both in and out, especially when compared to other central London nurseries. This combination of extremely attentive staff, great facilities and amazing value add through use of Mandarin makes Hatching Dragons a no brainer for any kid.

Overall Experience

My son started at Hatching Dragons when he was 11 months old and loves it there. Initially, there were tears when I picked him up but now when I see him he is always smiling and happy. The nursery is a lovely room for the kids to run around in, as is their playground. It's nice that all the kids of

different ages play together, the little ones learn from the older ones, who are caring of the little ones. The staff are very friendly and caring, and I always get updates when I pick him up. He is obviously very fond of them too. He learns so much there, and I'm always amazed when I see what he has learnt. As a first time mother, I was a little anxious about parting from my little one for the whole day but Hatching Dragons has made me feel at ease with how caring they all are of him and how fond he is of them.

My kids who are three years old have been at Hatching Dragons Nursery Westminster for four months now and are very happy there. They've made very good friends from day one and so have the parents. They spend all day painting, playing, doing yoga, learning Mandarin and English, reading books, learning

and are having the best time. So much so that I have to bribe them with snacks to go home most days. Hatching Dragons Nursery Westminster has fantastic facilities inside the nursery, several very spacious rooms with lots of toys and space to play. Outside area is functional too. It is also very secure. Parents receive reports and photos every day via the app and verbal feedback at pickup, also we are given lots of artwork and things kids have made that day. All the teachers and managers are loving, very friendly and everyone has their key person who provides in-depth feedback to the parents about kids' development and progress. Operating hours are well suited to working parents too.

Hatching Dragons Nursery Westminster is a very nice nursery with lovely teachers and management. Always a good atmosphere. The daily routines are fixed, which gives comfort for the child as well as for the parent. Everyday we receive daily logs for the day including nice photos and videos with descriptions
