Seahorse Nurseries is a South West London based nursery group which has been delivering their unique pedagogy of 'Loving, Educational and Fun' to families since 1997.

Since then, Seahorse has delivered its carefully curated curriculum and early years education to hundreds of children, making a real impact within their local community.

Children benefit from child-centred play as well as adult-led activities both indoors and outdoors. Structured INKY SWOT sessions focusing on mathematics, phonics, language and current events, for the older preschool pupils, leave the children feeling ready for their eventual move to primary school, and all aspects of school readiness are covered.

Mealtimes at nursery are social occasions and the food provided throughout the day (breakfast, lunch, tea time and snacks) are healthy and nutritious. Multiple dietary requirements and allergies are catered for at all Seahorse settings.

Alongside the regular daily activities, the children take part in multiple forest school session throughout the week, as well as visits to their local libraries, and visits from Tennis Coaches for outdoor Tennis activities; and music and singing sessions. ... Read more

We are so happy with the nursery. The staff and management are all well organised, quick reply, friendly to work with. Our baby is settled well after 5 months. She now loves going to the nursery and has made friends. Plenty of activities, rooms are clean and interesting events. Overall, it gives me
comfort sending my baby there as I know I can trust them.

As always with any nursery it really comes down to the staff and the team at Seahorse are exceptional. Caring, competent and are absolutely adored by my two girls.
I've never once felt anxious dropping them off in the morning as I know they are in the best of hands. Highly recommend it for anyone looking
to give their child a happy and accelerated start in life. Thank you!

I am absolutely thrilled with my daughter's nursery! Seahorse is an amazing place, with fantastic facilities both inside and outside. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and my daughter loves them all, no matter which class they're from. We receive daily feedback on her activities and progress,
which gives us a great sense of involvement. The staff is always willing to accommodate any special needs or requirements we have for our little one. They're also happy to meet with us to discuss any concerns and offer useful advice on what we can implement at home. My daughter has developed a deep love for her Seahorse class, to the point where she asks every day if it's Seahorse day, even on weekends! It's a wonderful feeling knowing that she's excited to go there and feels so comfortable. I highly recommend Seahorse to any parent looking for a caring and enriching environment for their child.

From the moment our daughter started at Seahorse - a little over a year ago - we were taken in by the warm atmosphere and delighted to see the quick connection she established with all of the staff. These bonds have only strengthened over time and she arrives and leaves each day with a big smile on
her face! The days are varied and the regular parent / key worker catch ups are informative and re-assuring. We have felt incredibly comfortable with Seahorse since day one and really couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We love Seahorses Southfields and could not recommend them enough! From the first home visit to now (four months later) we have felt so cared for by every single member of their team. This includes people who do not work directly in my child's room as well as office members who are only sometimes in
the building. The genuine care for each child is palpable and it is clear how focussed they are on centring their development and well-being in everything they do.
I cannot overstate how generous our child's key person has been with her time and thoughtfulness for our daughter (and us). We feel incredibly lucky to have someone in our lives who cares for our child the way that they do. Their wealth of knowledge and experience has helped me as a parent in understanding where my daughter is developmentally and how best to support her growth at home, which has been wonderful.
Seahorses Southfields has built a positive, warm, welcoming space that you can feel from the minute you walk inside.

Truly outstanding nursery. Our son has shown incredible personal development since attending.
Food, curriculum, care staff, and facilities all brilliant.

Our son has been at Seahorse Nursery Wimbledon Park (Starfish Room) since March 2024. The staff are friendly, caring, fun, knowledgeable and supportive. We get updates on an app, showing what our son is up to. We also get a detailed summary from the teachers when we pick him up. The activities are varied
(baking, music, yoga, reading, drawing, walking around the park, messy play) and the themes change every term. The nursery invites parents over fot key dates (Mother, Father, and Grandparents' days, but also Sports day, Splatter Matters day, and a day where parents can make a class demonstration). The nursery has recently offered a First Aid course for parents, which was extremely helpful. We've also been able to meet other parents in the area and arrange play dates. Seahorse Nursery is where our child spends most of his time every weekday, and so far, we're very happy with it and feel like partners in his development. Area for improvement: buggy storage.

Fantastic Nursery!
This nursery has been amazing for our little one! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, creating a warm, fun, and safe environment. The activities are engaging; our child has grown so much in confidence and learning here. Communication is excellent, with regular updates

Could not be more positive about Seahorse Nursery. The staff are amazingly friendly; they create an envirnment which has enable our child to thrive. To see the genuine excitment when he arrives in the morning is amazing. The variety provided for the children is amazing - tennis, French, music, yoga,
forest school - the food provided is brilliant, and then there is Seahorse club - amazing programe to start introducing the children to phonics, maths, hand writing and critical thinking.
A really stimulating environment, with a well thought out curriculum and excellent delivery. The kids love it and an amazing place for them to build friendships.
The relationship the kids build with the staff is clear to see as well.

Both my kids, aged 2 and 4, love going to nursery in the mornings. They have been going since they were babies and I have always felt that I left them in very capable and loving hands. The staff there are wonderful and really care about your child. They do various stimulating activities. From science
experiments to tennis lessons and art, I am often amazed by the things they learn and feel that they do much more with them within a day that I ever would've been able to do with them at home.

My child settled into Seahorse Nursery incredibly smoothly and quickly, which was such a relief as a parent. The staff in the room are absolutely wonderful-genuinely caring, kind, and attentive to each child's needs. They create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and comfortable.

My sons have attended Seahorse nursery since 2021. The staff that I have daily interactions with are outstanding. The care that they have given my boys over the years has been wonderful. You can see and feel the love.
Not only have my sons been cared for and nurtured they have grown in confidence
and developed into well-rounded little people. The activities that they provide from Forest School to French to all the themes and holidays that they really go all out celebrating is second to none. It has been a joy to send my children there and we really will miss them when my son graduates.

We love Seahorse and both our little ones (2 and 1) have absolutely thrived there. The staff are lovely and really care about their development, the curriculum is very well thought through with a different theme every term and lots of activities and learning based around it. We love seeing pictures
everyday of all the activities they have enjoyed every day - tennis, music lessons, baking and loads and loads of messy play!

We've been really happy with the care and education that our little guy has gotten at seahorse. The approach to early years learning really suits him, and he's flourished since joining the nursery. Park House is a great environment for our boys. Full of warmth and fun and exploration, the team here go above and beyond to make the children feel safe and secure and loved. Many parents use the team for babysitting duties when they can which I think is testament to how loved they are and how much
they invest deeply in the children's well being.
The nursery and brilliant for development of children's educational capabilities, balancing fun and comfort with challenge and responsibility. Our boys have learned so much here. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter started at Seahorse Nursery - Park House in November when she was 9 months old. The team have been really supportive in helping her settle in and have been great at keeping me updated during her days there. I feel confident this is the right setting for my daughter as all the team are very
nurturing and the nursery offers a variety of activities for the children to help them develop and keep them engaged whilst maintaining a structure to the day. The children also spend a good amount of time outdoors whether that is playing in the garden or a trip to the park to see the ducks. Our daughter has a really good relationship with her key worker who has shown to know her well, which gives me further reassurance during her time there.

I could not recommend Seahorses Nursery more highly!
Our daughter joined when she was only 9 months old and is clearly having the best time at nursery. She has settled in so quickly and all of the staff are incredibly friendly, supportive and caring.
Communication has been clear, the facilities
are superb, and the range of activities has been exceptional.
Our daughter could not be in better hands. Would recommend to any other parents.

Seahorse Nursery has been exceptional in their commitment to childcare.
My daughter suffers from severe multiple food allergies and she had a difficult time settling. As a result, she developed selective mutism and anxiety around eating. A particular male teacher worked closely with her reassuring
her with warmth, love, and patience. Members of staff encouraged her to communicate using basic language, gestures, cards, stickers, books, and one-on-one time. The extracurricular classes she has access to, language classes, and visits to the library helped increase her confidence.
Managerial staff were flexible and allowed me to sit in with her during tea and made home visits, which helped her feel safe.
Due to their exceptional dedication to childcare, my daughter has overcome her anxiety and is now able to communicate, eat, and drink and she is thriving at Seahorse.
Members of staff went above and beyond their duty of care. I highly recommend Seahorse Nursery.

Our daughter started at Seahorse a few months ago and we've been so impressed at how welcoming and inclusive everyone has been. She has built a lovely relationship with her key person, which has really helped her grow into a confident little girl. Every morning she runs into the nursery, says hello
and gives the staff in her room a cuddle before she settles in for breakfast. The daily activities are great, we love seeing and hearing what she's been up to - from making music and baking bread to messy play, and trips to the library. It's no surprise to us that she's coming home with new words every day.
