Overall Experience

It will be my son's last day at Hedgehogs tomorrow and it’s going to be emotional. Hedgehogs has been a welcoming environment that encourage learning by letting my son be himself and playing to his strengths. He has thrived at Hedgehogs and although he will have only just turned 4 when he starts reception,

I know Hedgehogs has developed his physical skill set as well as building his confidence and communication skills.
The staff are amazing, they genuinely care about the well-being of your child and regularly update the app so you can see photos and videos of your child’s day. For parents like me that were anxious, it is a great way to put your mind at ease. I highly recommend this nursery.

Overall Experience

Both my children have thrived at this preschool. I can’t recommend it enough. They have access to forest school and the allotment. Their development has come on so much during their time here. The staff genuinely care about the education and wellbeing of the children and allowing them opportunities

to be independent.

Overall Experience

We love this nursery, our twins have been coming here since they were 11 months old. The staff are wonderful, the activities they do with the children throughout the day are brilliant. We love seeing what they've been doing throughout the day on the app. They have lots of outdoor time which the girls

love. The food is really healthy and nutritious. The opening times are perfect for working parents. No mad rush in the morning before work and no clock watching during meetings in fear you'll be late! So happy with the foundation this nursery is setting for our girls future.

My son started Hedgehogs Preschool Hempstead during the September term 2021. My son really struggled with separation anxiety during the whole pandemic to which I worried he would find it hard to settle in, but he completely and utterly proved me wrong. After about a month of Wednesday mornings, I saw

a huge difference in my son. Upon collection, he comes out with a huge grin on his face and expresses to me that he has to have so much fun whilst being there. This makes me feel so happy knowing he’s enjoying himself. Each and every staff member I’ve dealt with have been lovely and attentive to my child’s needs. My reason for choosing Hedgehogs Preschool Hempstead after a bad experience elsewhere was upon my viewing every single child was happy. Not one child was upset and you could genuinely see just how happy the children were to be there. Therefore, without hesitation, I chose Hedgehogs Preschool Hempstead and that I am glad I did.

My daughter has attended Hedgehogs Preschool Chatham for 10 months and it is a wonderful nursery, she absolutely loves it. She always comes home saying she's had a great day. They often go out on little trips, have picnics and explore their surroundings. My daughter has really flourished in this nursery,

the staff are fantastic with her and at communicating with me. I can't recommend enough!

Overall Experience

The best preschool and nursery there is in this area. Prior to making the decision to send my children to this nursery, I viewed several nurseries in the area and this is the only one that offers this much outdoor time for all the children, which is so, so beneficial. My little ones simply love it here.

All the staff are extremely caring and will reassure you whenever you have a request about your little one. Highly recommend.

Overall Experience

Our son has been going to Hedgehogs Preschool Chatam since September 2020. He had a difficult time settling in but thanks to the amazing staff there, he now loves it. It is a wonderful setting where children can get real life experiences playing with real life objects. Having access to a field and its

close proximity to a park is a real bonus as kids can spend quality time outside, exploring the nature. It was a great choice and if I have to do it again I will choose them without a doubt. Amazing place with amazing, loving and caring people, working very hard to make everyone welcome.

Hedgehogs Preschool Chatham is a lovely nursery, with very friendly and professional staff. Our daughter doesn't look back when we drop her off and we really like the outdoor play policy. Great location by the train station too with early bird sessions for when people are back in the office. Wholehearted

My son loves going to Hedgehogs Preschool & Forest School Hempstead, he literally drags me to the door and has cried on occasions when he has to leave. The staff are very friendly and there is always good communication about how his session has been, whether it be photos on an app for me to view or

a quick chat when I pick him up. My son is still learning his words and needs a little bit more support and they have been very helpful in this area, which has put our minds at ease. The space at Hedgehogs Preschool & Forest School Hempstead is not overwhelming but they have made brilliant use of the area both inside and out. We are extremely happy with Hedgehogs Preschool & Forest School Hempstead so much so that we have just put our daughters name down for when she’s ready to start.

Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester has been a breath of fresh air for my son. Since joining Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester, we haven’t looked back. He has grown to become independent, talkative and the curiosity approach has expanded his imagination more than we could have hoped for. This nursery has

given him so much confidence and he has a group of little people he calls his friends. The staff are friendly and always there to listen and to answer any questions we may have. He really has come on leaps and bounds since joining and we couldn’t be more thankful to the staff.

My daughter has been attending Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester since July 2020. The staff at the nursery are caring, knowledgeable and experienced. My daughter loves going there. She leaves home happy and returns excited to share what she has done during the day. I receive regular updates when I pick

her up and get to see the activities on Tapestry, the nursery online portal that has photos, updates and a care diary. My daughter's speech has been progressing rapidly since she started nursery and I could not be more pleased with her progress. She is happy, adjusted and has made friends there. I would highly recommend Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester.

Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester is a high-quality nursery where both of my children are extremely well cared for. I have a three-year-old and a one-year-old there, two days a week and they both love going. I rarely even get a backward glance these days once the door it open. The use of Tapestry to see

photos of what they get up to each day is handy, so we can have "how was your day" conversations with our three-year-old. The staff are professional, caring and well qualified. They have been very supportive in continuing things like EC (early potty training) from home, catering to our daughter's food intolerance's and easing our super-clingy son into nursery life, he is now right at home. I would (and have) recommended Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester if you're looking for a caring, stimulating and fun place for your child to spend their time when they're away from you.

My little girl started with Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester when she was 9 months old in the baby room. She's now almost 2 and fully settled in the toddler room. I think the staff are absolutely fantastic and they are one of the key reasons this nursery is such a success and why my daughter loves it

so much. She talks about the staff and the other children all the time!
I love the curiosity approach that the nursery uses and they spend lots of time singing, reading books, playing in the garden and often exploring the local area. They have a varied menu and are able to provide for my daughter's dietary requirements.
My daughter absolutely loves it there and I know the staff really care for her and they have helped her grow into a confident, resilient and sociable little girl.

Don't send your child here. Please. Then perhaps we can up our daughter's days as the waiting list is so long! And quite rightly so. Our daughter has been coming here for 2 days a week since July last year and we are thrilled with the level of attention the staff pay to our specific family requests.

She absolutely loves it and repeats everyone's names over and over and over again. All day long! The Hedgehogs Day Nursery Rochester setting is fantastic with the park just behind them and a kitchen big enough that the older children can get involved learning about food. The only negative is the wait at the front door that Covid has brought but they are making arrangements to address that issue. They stay open later than some of the others and there is barely any plastic in sight. The children are often playing and climbing outdoors and the daily updates with (blurry?) photos really sets your mind at ease. Even though the staff must work very long days they are always very cheery on pickup. We couldn't be happier.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been attending the nursery since January 2020 and I couldn’t be happier with the setting and care that is provided to her. More importantly, she is always so very very happy and content when I drop and collect her.
The staff are friendly, caring and experienced they do the utmost to

take on changes to accommodate my daughter's needs and they would always look to seek improvements to the nursery although I feel not needed.
My daughter attends most of the week and I receive regular updates at the end of each day and through tapestry, she is also kept clean and dry (clothes are changed if needed and her face is always wiped of any food or runny nose). I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending the Hedgehogs childcare setting in Chatham since September and it has been nothing but an amazing choice for her!
Choosing the right setting for my daughter was a difficult choice but as soon as we saw the website I knew it was the right place as she had the choice for

outdoor play and learning which suits her more.
Before attending my daughter was not clear in her speech but the teachers have really helped her flourish in making her speech clearer and more fluent.
The teachers are very helpful and keep you updated and any issues we have had were dealt with appropriately and sufficiently, nothing but an overall great experience!
