RAFA Kidz is a charity supporting the Royal Air Forces family by delivering affordable and nurturing early years childcare. Each of RAFA's settings offers a welcome and secure environment along with fun and educational activities.

RAFA Kidz is a not-for-profit trading subsidiary of the RAF Association and focuses on providing the children and their families with the best possible service.

All additional income is invested back into the nurseries to ensure staff are knowledgeable and the children have access to excellent resources.

Our daughter has attended this nursery for a good while now, and I have to say they are absolutely amazing! She is learning and developing so many new skills in speech, has developed motor skills, and learning basic mathematics like numbers, colours and shapes. The staff were also amazing with helping
us during potty training, and keeping us updated on how she gets on. My daughter is always happy to attend nursery, and has developed a lovely relationship with all the staff members who care for her which really puts my mind at ease leaving her there for the day while I work.
The meals and snacks are brilliant! It is lovely to see that she is being given proper fresh cooked hot meals, lots of fruit and vegetables and giving good variety for her diet.
I couldn't have asked for my daughter to attend a more safe and caring environment while I work, and have nothing but positive feedback to give.

RAFA Kidz Valley is an amazing nursery. I have felt comfortable in leaving my son there from the first day. The staff are so kind and the communication is great. Nothing is ever too much for them. My son has so much fun there and you can tell how comfortable he is with the staff and the other kids.

I can't say enough wonderful things about RAFA Kids Nursery! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with warmth and professionalism from the incredible staff. They go above and beyond to create a nurturing, safe, and fun environment for the children, and it's clear they genuinely care
about each child's well-being and development.
My daughter absolutely loved her time there - every day was filled with exciting activities, creative play, and learning experiences that kept her engaged and happy. It's been amazing to watch her grow in confidence, make new friends, and develop new skills thanks to the support and encouragement of the fantastic team. The app is great and updated throughout the day!
If you're looking for a nursery where your child will be cared for, inspired, and truly happy, I wholeheartedly recommend RAFA Kids Nursery. It's more than just a childcare facility - it's a second home for the children, and we are so grateful for them. Thank you so so much!

RAFAKidz Boulmer is a wonderful nursery. My child attends 5 days a week and has developed so much in all areas: speech and language, gross and fine motor skills and socially. The staff are kind, attentive and regularly present so that they become familiar to the children. The location is remote but
Longhoughton village is secure and quiet and the children often get out and about exploring with staff. I highly recommend.

My son attended RAFA Kidz from the age of 7 months old, throughout his time he has been loved and cared for as though he was family.
The communication with parents is amazing, I have been fully informed of his day throughout and received a comprehensive handover upon collection. My son never showed
any apprehension about going in of a morning, and never wanted to leave.
The staff show the greatest of respect for parents, and have gone above and beyond to support with feeding, toileting and behaviour queries.
I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone and have recommended it several times within the local community.
I'm so glad I chose the setting and leaving was a gut wrenching task!
Amazing setting and amazing staff! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The staff are amazing, my son attended another nursery and found it so hard to settle I removed him in the end. Since starting at RAFA Kidz Boscombe Down, I have seen his confidence grow, all the staff are so friendly and supportive and I feel like I'm dropping him off at a friend's house to play. I
feel as though they actually want to get know him and care for my son's well-being and not just doing a job. The Chinook room reminds me of the reception classroom at my eldest son's school, a range of planned activities for learning and play and such a variety of toys. The outside space is large and has so much to do and play with, bikes and trikes, sand pit, mud kitchen, different things to climb. In my opinion one of the best nurseries in the area, and although my son still gets upset at drop off, I'm confident that the staff genuinely care for his happiness and are so personable I can go off the work without that sinking mum guilt!

Although my little boy has only been in the setting a few weeks, I am already more than happy with the care he has received to aid him to settle in.
He doesn't speak yet but he gives the biggest smiles when he is welcomed each morning by the staff in the baby room. To me that is comforting to know
he's happy there.
From the first contact I made with the nursery, to him starting, everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Nothing ever seems too much.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery. I was nervous after having him at a childminder in a smaller environment but I wish I had put him in sooner. He has thrived since joining. The communication received daily from the nursery is amazing and of course a catch-up every pick up on his day. The staff
are all so lovely and I personally couldn't recommend Rafa Kidz enough. We will be gutted when September comes and it's time for school as he enjoys his days here so much!

I really rate RAFA Kidz Boscombe Down. Since they took over, there has been a great deal of investment in new resources like the kitchen, tablet, new toys and activities that enhance the experience for my daughter. My daughter has been very happy in the setting for almost 3 years now and has been so
well looked after by the team. Many of them have watched her grow from a baby into a confident young girl ready to take on school. I feel happy knowing she is so well cared for and supported by all of the team.

I was a bit nervous about my child starting nursery but it has been such a positive experience for him and me so thank you. The staff have been very helpful and attentive to my child, supporting his communication. He has settled in very well and really enjoys himself. He loves the outings they do- walks,
and to the farm and is playing really well with the other children and gaining confidence. It's really nice and sociable for him to eat together with the other children and great to encourage him to eat more new foods. The nursery has a warm feel, is in a nice setting and has really good outdoor space. I really like that I can keep in touch with what my child is doing via the app. Thank you

The staff are incredibly warm, friendly and genuinely caring, making our daughter feel right at home. She comes back every day excited and eager
to see them again, which speaks volumes about the loving environment they provide.
Communication from the nursery is excellent, they keep us well-informed and speak about our daughter with such care and enthusiasm. It's truly reassuring to know she's in such capable hands. The level of attention and affection they give mirrors what we strive to provide at home and that means the world to us.
We trust the staff and management completely and cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. It's clear that the team loves what they do and it reflects in the way they treat the children.

Our son has been attending RAFA Kidz Odiham for over a year, and we couldn't be happier with the care and support he receives. The staff are incredibly nurturing, creating a warm and welcoming environment where he feels safe and happy every day.
One of the biggest changes we've noticed is how much
his vocabulary has grown. He constantly surprises us with new words and phrases, and it's clear that the engaging activities and interactions at the nursery have played a huge role in his development.
He absolutely loves all the activities they provide, from creative arts and messy play to outdoor adventures and story time. It's wonderful to see him so excited to go in every morning, knowing he's learning, exploring, and having fun with his friends.
We're so grateful to the amazing team and for their dedication and care. We highly recommend them to any parent looking for a fantastic early years setting.
