Great nursery, would definitely recommend. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, safe environment where my child was able to learn, play and thrive. What a fabulous gem! We love the staff so much and both my children have thrived in their care. The setting is small but this allows the staff to really get to know the children and meet their needs. My son absolutely loves going each morning and knows he is safe to explore and develop his confidence.
We are so grateful to everyone who works there.

Purple Lion Day Nurseries Chingford is a thoroughly nurturing and positive environment where the children are well known as individuals and cared for as such.
The facilities are varied with both indoor and outdoor spaces well used for a variety of activities. Outdoor and messy play are prioritised.
It is really interesting to be informed in messages about plans for the week and to receive feedback on how these have gone via the Family App.
Parents receive regular and detailed written reviews of the children's progress and targets and regular feedback is given verbally at the door on pick up.
The staff clearly enjoy working with the children and seeing their development and my grandchildren enjoy their experience there. The care and attention of the staff has enabled them to settle in really well. There has been excellent communication between parents and staff regarding the specific needs of the children.
Overall we're very happy with the service provided by the nursery.

Purple Lion Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery. All the staff are so kind and caring and the kids days seem filled with creative, stimulating activities. My daughter joined when she was 14 months and will be with Purple Lions until school in September. My daughter has developed so much under their care.
We are so happy we chose them. Thank you to all the staff who put so much into the children.

A small nursery with great staff and a great environment for little ones.
My son has always been shy however the nursery has really brought him out his shell, his development has come along massively and the staff provide detailed updates on his day.

My son joined Purple Lion Day Nurseries in March 2023 and we have nothing but positive things to say about the setting. The staff are so caring and treat the children like they are their own. They are so invested in their development and communicate really well with us on everything they get up to.
The children do such a lovely range of activities all week, including themed arts and crafts, baking, circle time, signing, outdoor play. My son has developed so well since being at Purple Lion and he really enjoys being there.
The updates on the family app at the beginning and end of the week are informative and great to see what they do. Lots of great photos and also the observations each week are really nice too.
I have also attended some stay and play sessions last year which I really enjoyed. As a small setting the children get a lot of attention.
Could not recommend Purple Lion more!

Our little one has been at the nursery since May and settled really quickly with the support of the team. The communication has been great and we have enjoyed the updates about the weekly activities with pictures of the engagement on the app. The introduction of school trips to the library, local shop
and residential home have been really enjoyed by my son and he was very animated sharing stories about this. The nursery went to great lengths at Christmas to create a magical experience with a grotto and farm animals at the Christmas show. I was a bit nervous sending him in after we had started toilet training in the summer but they ensured consistency with what we had done at home and we had very few accidents which was encouraging. The setting does allow for more intimate care and learning which has really suited our little ones development. It's a lovely nursery and he really enjoys it.

My child is having an amazing time at this nursery! The staff are super caring and attentive, ensuring each child feels safe, happy and supported. The activities are super engaging and educational, and I can see how much my child has grown in such a short time.
Overall, this nursery has been an incredible
place for my child to grow, learn, and make lasting memories. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their little one.

The activities are really imaginative, which gives the children excellent opportunity to explore and develop their skills.
There is a wonderful outreach into the community, such as the visit to the care home, which gives new experiences and joy for all.
There are wonderful opportunities for cultural
celebrations to learn from and enjoy.
My grandchildren have settled in well and enjoy going, which shows a positive caring environment by all staff members.

The best nursery ever, competent and understanding people! I'm really happy, and my baby makes a lot progress as well!! I didn't think that starting nursery school would be a really hard time for me and my child, they were very good at welcoming him and encouraging us parents too.

Great group of women. Always happy to speak to you and keep you updated on your kids.
Has lots of different events on that introduce and teach your kids something new.
I loved that they had the fire services visit in November and that they took the kids to an elderly home in December.
My kids are
always excited when we get to nursery and my son never wants to leave.
Staff 100% amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Our daughter recently started with Purple Lion Day Nurseries in the baby room and we're delighted with her development to date. In a few short weeks, she has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the care and attention she's received from the team in Wapping. Via the app we receive regular daily updates
and photos which make no end of difference to two new anxious parents. Alongside this, you also get a thorough in-person update at the end of each day. Their personal approach is outstanding and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

Our daughter has been doing 2 days a week here for the last 6 months and we couldn't be happier. Really great location with good facilities - it was important for us to have decent outside space and they really tick the box there. Communications, updates and general responsiveness are in line with what
we were looking for, really friendly staff and we feel absolutely comfortable leaving our daughter with them. We live locally and were pleasantly surprised at the service we were able to get for the price - plenty of others close by which cost more and we'd feel less comfortable with. Would, and often do, recommend to others.

Purple Lions Wapping is such a lovely nursery. My little one does really enjoy spending time there. I can really tell a difference in behaviour since my little one started back in September 2024. The staff is really caring and always takes time to give an update at the end of the day at drop-offs.
Additionally,
this nursery has a lovely outdoor space where kids can play with some wooden toys or even explore the surroundings.
I have to admit that overall I am satisfied with the care provided, however, I would appreciate seeing a better food/flavours variety when it comes to mealtime.

A particular member of staff and the team at Purple Lions are truly wonderful and take great care of the children. They always share highlights from the day and my child is very excited to be dropped off every morning. The setting is lovely, with a huge outside play area and an excellent variety of
toys and activities. I would highly recommend the nursery - caring staff and lovely facilities.

Our son joined the local Purple Lion branch when it first opened a year ago. Since then the nursery has gone from strength to strength and our son has had the most amazing time with wonderful development opportunities, nurtured by a brilliant team of caring, kind and hardworking staff. His key workers
have been brilliant - from the baby room to toddler room. The management team have been exceptional in helping with our requests and accommodating our needs. Our son will greatly miss the team who have looked after him so well. The resources and play areas are brilliant - lots of amazing outdoor play equipment and really spacious well equipped rooms inside. We are very sad that he is moving onto school now as he will miss Purple Lion greatly. We highly recommend Purple Lion and know that the team will continue to go from strength to strength.
