We really like Magdalen - The Grove.
Our eldest girl had a great and fun time there and so now does our youngest. The staff are very caring and the time spent there is diverse. There was not a day when we picked up the girls that they weren't happy, with lots of stories to share with us. The food
is healthy and diverse. There is always lots of indoor and outdoor space for children to have a good run around. I would always choose it again.

Both of my children are currently attending Magdalen Nursery The Lodge and have had an outstanding level of care. Both started in the baby room and have worked their way up over time - supported all the way and progressing with their small group of friends. The key worker support, levels of daily updates
and progress, nutrition, activities and sense of community are fantastic - with the small setting it also is a great way to get to know many of the other parents and children too which provides a great basis for preparation for school.

My daughter, has been attending the nursery for two years, and absolutely loves it. She asked to invite all of the team to her birthday which is the highest praise. The facilities, outdoor space and activities organised by the team are fantastic. The drama classes and a recent visit by some animals
are a few of my daughter's favourites, not to mention the endless sensory play available every day. The engagement and communication with us, as parents has been exemplary. I recommend Sutton Magdalen Nursery to everyone.

My daughter has been at the nursery for over two years now and has loved every minute. The staff are great and very quick to respond.
They managed the Covid situation extremely well and we haven’t had any bad experience with the nursery and our son will be joining in September.

Great nursery. We have two children there and they love going in. The staff have consistently been incredible. They are supportive and caring. Moreover, they have created a vibrant community of carers and parents, which reaches beyond the nursery itself.

Magdalen is a really amazing nursery! My daughter has been there since September 2021 when she was 10 months old. We were so worried at the beginning about nursery life for our girl, but the staff are really talking care of her well in a very kind way and we could see she was getting happier and happier
every day!
All staff are very professional and try to talk to us every day about what happened to our girl in detail.
We especially love the nursery app which we can see our girl’s routine life there. Also all the photos they are uploading in the app - it often made my day!
We could see our girl has improved and grown a lot while at Magdalen Nursery and we are very well informed by staff as to what she did and how she has developed herself.
Also, love the safari fete program! That was really good for our baby to get a very unique and special experience! Highly recommend Magdalen to all the parents who are looking for a nursery!

We’ve had children at Magdalen since they were 1 for a combined duration of 5 years and we could not be happier with the place. The staff all genuinely adore the children; they are each known and cheerily welcomed daily by both their own and other teachers. There are monthly themes for each class so
they learn new things; they do excellent craft and physical activities; there’s lots of music and singing and in the pre-school rooms children get individual attention for their letters and numbers. The outdoor space for the youngest and oldest is excellent (the middle level recently lost a garden but they’re doing the best they can), and the indoors is cheery and packed with equipment. Of course, childcare in London is incredibly expensive and Magdalen is certainly no exception. But at least you can feel the money is being spent to keep your children safe, happy and loved.

My three-year-old has been at Magdalen Nursery - The Lodge for eighteen months and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The staff are superb and the management team are simply wonderful people. I've had no bad experiences with the staff at all. My son has strong bonds with his key workers,
is happy to go there every day, misses his teachers when he is not there and has made lovely friends. I couldn't ask for more. We'll both be very sorry to leave when he starts school.

This is a fantastic nursery and we are so happy to have found it. Our daughter started at Magdalen Nursery when she was 7 months old, and despite teary handovers at the start, she quickly grew to trust the staff, and so did we. She has now been at the nursery for approx 10 months and is very happy there.
Something that stood out on our first visit was that every colleague we encountered seemed to know each individual child and positively engaged with them. We receive regular updates on activities she undertakes each day, and their weekly menus put my home cooking to shame (+ they’ve been able to creatively accommodate dietary requirements and allergies). There have also been a number of occasions where we parents have been invited in to ‘stay and play’ with our children and experience the fabulous facilities they have on offer. Magdalen is such a warm, welcoming and natural community to be a part of and everybody I’ve encountered seems to be genuinely committed to my daughter’s wellbeing.

My daughter has been at Magdelen’s for over a year and we couldn’t be happier with this nursery. Having experienced a different setting with our older child (different area) this place really stands out. Firstly, management is excellent - they really go the extra mile to ensure activities are relevant
and inclusive. Parents are regularly invited to join stay and play activities (post covid) adding a community feel. The large outdoor area is perfect for curious toddlers to explore, whatever the weather. What I’m most delighted with is consistency amongst staff and how beneficial this is to my daughter's development. The standard of care is second-to-none and the fact my daughter literally runs in each morning full of excitement is testimony to this wonderful nursery.

This nursery is amazing. Full of activities and colour. The staff has accommodated all my requests and from the beginning I felt that my choice of this nursery was the best one.


Good app to check the progresses of my baby and good menu for kids too.

We currently have two children at this nursery and could not be happier with the progress they are both making. The staff are so caring and nurturing whilst teaching them more than we ever expected. We are constantly impressed by what they have learnt each day and are enjoying watching them develop

We love Magdalen, great room sizes, great activities for the kids and all the staff are wonderful! They cater to our allergies really well and make sure she never misses out on anything.

Magdalen is a unique nursery - both in the care it provides the children and the quality of its staff. My daughter has been attending for the last eight months and loves every minute (she sometimes doesn't want to come home with mummy!). She joined just after turning one and the team helped her to settle
in and feel at home really quickly. They are kind, loving and fully committed to the children. They put so much effort into different activities and are attentive, caring and patient. They must be exhausted at the end of every day - we really appreciate everything they do. My husband and I feel so comfortable leaving our daughter in their care.
