My son has just started nursery in September and he loves going to school and the staff. He's learning and the environment really caters for his creativity and curiosity.
I'm very happy and hope he'll be able to continue and finish primary at St Edwards.

Reply from Emily Kenefeck, Marketing & Communications Manager at St Edward's Prep School & Nursery

I attended my grandson and granddaughter's nativity plays. The atmosphere in the school hall was magical and all the children in the plays were relaxed and happy as were the staff.
Each play enabled individual children to excel themselves in their costumes and roles. Thank you Cricklade Manor.

Fantastic nursery. We chose the nursery because of the staff and overall feeling there, it appears clean, and welcoming, has discipline, and teaches manners starting at a young age which is something we were keen for our daughter to have. The welcome she receives every day and the approach the staff
have is amazing, our daughter enjoys going to nursery and this has taken a huge weight off our minds as we both returned back to full-time work. She has already developed so much in social skills in the past few short months. We all couldn't be happier. The most important thing is she is having fun and safe and we definitely feel she is.

Reply from Cathy Parker, Nursery Manager at Learning Curve Day Nursery

Thank you for your lovely review! It's wonderful to hear how we've been able to ease the weight for you in going back to work full-time and are delighted with how well your daughter has settled into nursery and is thriving! We pride ourselves on being a family away from home and how this approach helps develop the social skills and self-confidence in our children. So, to know you've already noticed how much she's developed since being at Learning Curve means the absolute world to us!

The staff are all friendly, caring and we just love how amazing they are to our daughter. I couldn't have dreamt of a better place to have our daughter. The activities and outdoor

Our child has attended Cricklade Nursery for the last two years. They have had a brilliant time, the staff are caring and there are so many different activities. The outdoor space is brilliant. I feel that they are all well-prepared to move on to school. The only downside is that they don't take children
under two years old.

Great little nursery with excellent facilities which allowed both my boys to thoroughly enjoy their time there. The walled garden area with its own playground area and sandpit provides an excellent safe environment for kids to run around in and make friends from other classes. Being an integral part
of the main school and sharing in the many facilities of a larger school, e.g. sports hall, Astroturf, is a great benefit to the kids and also made the transition for both my boys from nursery to the main school a breeze. Great team of staff and highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

St Edward's Prep gave my daughter the most pleasant nursery experience in England. Having tried other nurseries where she struggled to settle, the care, resources, engagement and her experience over the past three terms have been excellent. Her development has been impressive, her social skills are
being nurtured as she grows into an independent and confident girl. I would recommend St Edward's Prep School & Nursery any day.

My daughter enjoys going to nursery, the staff are amazing and show genuine care for the children. They keep in communication if needed, show support when a child may need additional help and always met with a smile and positive attitude. The children do fun activities and make the most of their outdoor
space. I would highly recommend it to all parents.
It would be nice to have a communication platform, and not just social media for photos.

A well-run nursery with pleasant staff. Good range of activities. Always great to do more/learn more but we accept that is challenging with so many. Fees have increased which is clearly never ideal, this was however communicated well.
Always met with a smile and feel that staff have taken it upon themselves
to get to know our daughter. Would recommend it to others who are seeking a nursery in the local area.

Our son has complex medical needs, so I was dreading finding him a nursery. The manager instantly put me at ease and assured me that Heathcote House could support my child. Since he started in February, the baby team have been amazing, really accommodating and provide excellent care. They take their
time at the end of a busy day to do an extensive handover. I couldn't be happier with the nursery and staff. My child is thriving and happy.

Heathcote House Nursery

from Amy R (Mother of Child) published on 25 April 2024

My child has been at Heathcote for seven months and she loves it. I was concerned she would struggle to settle in as she has always been very attached to me, but within only a week she was holding out her arms to her key worker. I was pleased to find that all staff there knew her name, not just those
in the baby room. I have been delighted to attend a Christmas 'party' and Mother's Day 'brunch' at the nursery, and see first-hand how happy she is in the setting.
Heathcote House has recently become part of Wishford Education group and there have already been some tangible benefits, without unexpected fee rises. There is a long-term programme of planned works including redecoration inside and development of the outdoor areas. I believe this means the best of both worlds - the friendly, homely atmosphere of an independent with the professional management and investment of a group behind it.
Most importantly, the staff clearly care about the children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Reply from Stephanie Hall, Nursery Manager at Heathcote House Nursery

Thank you for your lovely review, it's been a joy to welcome your family to Heathcote House. We pride ourselves on being a home-from-home and knowing every child. We're really excited about seeing Heathcote go from strength to strength with Wishford's support.

Our son started the nursery a few months ago, following in his sister’s footsteps. We have been so pleased with the experience and would highly recommend. The staff are amazing and our children have been very happy and both settled in very easily. The setting and space are fantastic, with forest school
and the chickens being a highlight.

St David's Prep

from Lee T (Father of Child) published on 22 March 2024
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Our daughter joined pre-reception six months ago on half-days however after her first term we opted to switch to full days because she was enjoying it so much.
Prior to St Davids, she attended both a kindergarten and a nursery however did not find either stimulating and on reflection, there's a stark
difference between these establishments as St Davids is principally focused on providing a rich and engaging foundation for learning as opposed to being principally a business.
This is due to the excellence of the pre-reception staff; they have built such a strong rapport with our daughter and as a consequence, she is blossoming in both confidence and learning.
Having our daughter equate learning to the fun was our wish and the pre-reception class does exactly that.
There's so much more I could comment on but ultimately we could not be any happier.

Reply from Sarah Handy, Manager at St David's Prep

This is the second child who has attended Westonbirt Nursery. Both children love the nursery, it is a nurturing environment, and the staff are happy to tailor it to your child's needs, especially when they first start. The children are ready and prepared when they arrive at reception. We love that the
children have swimming lessons when they are in Peacocks, and we also love that they can spend so much time outdoors. I visited a number of nurseries and Westonbirt, with its amazing staff, is head and shoulders above the others.

Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

We've had an amazing experience with the nursery, and it's been incredible to see how much our son has grown since he started. Being a Covid baby meant he missed out on a lot of social stuff early on, but the nursery was fantastic in helping him catch up. He absolutely loved the outdoor sessions with
the sports team and getting involved in special bits like the nativity, which you only really get with a school nursery.
The biggest surprise for us was seeing how confident and independent he's become. Every week he'd come home with a new skill, putting on his coat, getting his shoes on by himself, looking after his stuff - it was brilliant to see. The nursery's done so much more than we could have asked for in bringing out these practical life skills.
Big thanks to everyone there for making such a difference in our son's early years. He's got a fantastic start thanks to the nurturing and fun environment you've provided.

My son has recently started at Cricklade and has settled well. He comes home talking about his friends and teachers, especially his key person. Considering he has only been at this nursery for six weeks, he has learnt so much already. He is reciting stories in books that we have never read before, and
his counting has improved dramatically, but most importantly he’s learning through having fun! The outdoor spaces and the extracurricular activities they offer are amazing, from the forest school to music and French sessions.

Hatherop Castle Nursery is the most wonderful and nurturing place to send your child. My three children went through the nursery and it was all smiles from drop off to pick up.
The friendly teachers and the cosy environment, with outside space to learn, made the perfect place to begin a child’s learning
