Overall Experience

We had to move our son to a new nursery due to the old one not being able to accommodate all the days that we needed. We came across The Ginger Bread House and they were so accommodating and professional. It was always going to be hard for him to transition to a new setting but the staff were all brilliant

in getting him settled in. For us it was a difficult decision to make, to move him from a nursery that was equally as good but we are glad that we have found a nursery of the same high standard. They have a very varied meal plan, along with lots of activities for the kids from Yoga to French and Athletics. We highly recommend anyone looking at The Ginger Bread House for their son or daughter.

Overall Experience

My girls have been here for just over a year now and they absolutely love it! They have learnt so much and always come home chatting about their day. The staff are lovely and we have never had any issues.

Overall Experience

My son started nursery in September, I've seen him change so much and become a little character who always comes out smiling. Staff are all friendly. Nursery is clean and tidy. Food is prepped at the nursery.

Overall Experience

Went to Gingerbread House Nursery's Christmas event. It was amazing, our little one had a lovely time. There was so much going on, toys, Christmas activities, seeing Santa. But not only that staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Overall Experience

My son has settled in very well and is happy to see the staff as they take him in each morning. He seems to be really enjoying his time there as we see from the updates sent through the app. We were apprehensive about starting a nursery but we feel happy sending him in each morning, knowing he's having

a great time. He loves music and so has really been enjoying the mini notes music lessons they offer. The staff are great about giving updates on how his day has been at pick up too, and it's lovely to hear what he's been doing without us during the day.

My son joined Joyful Tots Nursery in Sept 2024 and he loves it there! I have seen so much improvement in his speech and communication since he joined. The staff are very helpful and they keep me informed of my child's activities (nappy, food, sleep) in the app which gives me ease of mind. It's also

very easy to book ad-hoc days so I know I can rely on this nursery for any urgent childcare needs.
Joyful Tots also runs a variety of activities for the kids which keeps my son engaged. Glad I picked Joyful Tots as my son's nursery.

Overall Experience

Gingerbread House Nursery have been absolutely incredible with my little boy. He joined in September at 17 months and was welcomed in so well by the team. For the first 5 weeks he really struggled leaving in the morning and would cry but the smiling faces were always such a comfort. The daily observations

of what he had been doing gave us a great insight along with the chat at the gate for collection helped us to understand what he had been doing. When our little girl arrived in November they supported us as a family to help with that transition. They worked with him to understand about babies and to be gentle and kind and he has been that the whole time she has been here. Now he is transitioning to the next room up we have been kept up to date with progress and the transition has happened gradually so he isn't overwhelmed. The team are phenomenal and cannot recommend highly enough. The care, attention, knowledge and support has been outstanding!

Overall Experience

My son has been at the nursery for just over a year, we couldn't be more happy with The Gingerbread House.
Our son absolutely loves going to the nursery. In fact, he was talking about going into the nursery to play with his friends and do sing songs every day over the Christmas break.
The staff here

really goes above and beyond. They organise different events through out the year for the children and parents. We have had summer fair, Halloween party, autumn assembly, Christmas Carol and recently, a Christmas party.
Throughout the day, we get photo updates and observation updates. You can tell the staff are really passionate about the children's development.
I honestly cannot recommend the nursery enough.

What a wonderful nursery! The staff always go above and beyond. We attended the Christmas fair, there was gingerbread decorating, a tombola and there even a visit from Father Christmas! My son (18 months) just loves it there, especially the music classes.

Overall Experience

I attended a Christmas event at the nursery and it was fantastic! The Santa and elf were lovely and welcoming to my children and they got a gift at no charge which was amazing. They had different activities set up around the room including gingerbread decorating and colouring in and some extra games

at small charge. Overall it was a lovely experience and Elsa made an appearance too! Lovely little nursery, very clean and well maintained with friendly staff.

Overall Experience

My 3-year-old has been attending nursery since 1.5 and never fully settled anywhere. His last nursery he cried every single day without fail, cries I've never seen from him and that was for a good 2.5 months. From the moment we walked into gingerbread he high-fived one of the staff members and ran off

to play. He stayed that very same day and waved me off. Every morning he just walks in the gate and waves me off, not a tear in sight. He always comes home in such a good mood and all the girls are so lovely. This was the setting I had been looking for all this time, so thankful to have come across it!

I'm so glad that when choosing nurseries, that I opted for this one for my little girl. She has not only become more confident going in to nursery but she has come on leaps and bounds with her communication and behaviour.

Overall Experience

Both my children attend joyful tots. My daughter is 4 and my son is nearly 2. The nursery really is another home. Every day I get sent updates with pictures of what they are doing what they've eaten you really feel like you are there every step. They have come out of their shells since being here and

that is thanks to the girls here. They have a baby room so they can sometimes play together and also get the chance to make their own friends. I love the fact they don't just play but they are learning. My daughter can now write her own name. Not only that they do mini athletics and sports day. They have little day outs which I love as they are getting to know their community and working for the NHS mainly with the elderly I really love the fact they visit them in homes! They know my kids inside out and really do feel like family and we will be sad when my kids have to leave to go primary school it's just such an amazing place. Honestly is the best nursery any parent can wish for.

Overall Experience

My son didn't start off very well when we decided to send him to nursery. He was not keen to go, crying most of the time at the drop off and not eating at the nursery leaving me worried. He wanted to come back home.
But gradually I started noticing changes in him and improvement in his behaviour,

words and gestures.
He has been at the nursery since April 2024 and the change he had is so positive and overwhelming. My son enjoys a lot, has built a great rapport with the staff and his fellow kids.
I have seen an immense growth in him and can see him developing his character, showing interests in his early learning activities and life skills.
Overall as a parent, I am very impressed with how the nursery has been an influence on my son. The staff are really lovely and accommodating with adhoc sessions, inform of us any changes and updates.

I recently had the pleasure of dropping off and picking up my grandson during my visit from Canada. The staff were very kind and welcomed both me and my grandson every morning. It was wonderful to witness how happy he was to go with the staff! He was equally happy (and singing) at the end of the day

- clearly having had a good time. It was also reassuring to read the daily reports about what he was doing at nursery, so we could talk to him about it too. Thank you Gingerbread House Nursery staff!

My nephew comes to The Gingerbread House Nursery and I couldn't have more positive things to say. I first went by to pick him up this past October and was immediately pleased with the set-up due to the safety measures taken. Additionally, the staff are incredibly kind, communicative, and appear in-tune

We couldn't be happier with our experience at The Gingerbread House Nursery. Our daughter started here at just 7 months, and even though she's now 16 months and not yet talking, she shows so much joy and excitement each day. She's always eager to go and comes home happy, which says a lot about how well

cared for and engaged she feels there.
