Overall Experience

Outstanding nursery. My children have attended 5 different nurseries in total, all of which have been very good in their different ways, but only Puddleducks seems to get everything right. My two children there look forward to every day, and come home very happy. They walk into their classrooms confidently,

eager to see their friends and teachers. The staff are very friendly and available. It's all very well organised. I would highly recommend Puddleducks to anybody.

Overall Experience

I couldn't ask any more of the team that look after my two little ones at Puddleducks! My little girl has been with the nursery for 2 years, during which time she has created strong bonds with the staff, especially her key workers, grown in confidence & character and formed some wonderful friendships

with the other children. From experience I knew I wouldn't find a better place to care for my little boy following my recent maternity leave - again I've been reassured of the excellent care they provide with how quickly he's settled and bonded with his key worker. It makes leaving them so much easier knowing how content they are.
The support and encouragement they receive to explore their own learning is incredible, and the environment provided is safe yet beautiful.
I really couldn't recommend a better place than Puddleducks and their lovely team!

Overall Experience

My daughter has been with Puddleducks Nursery in Malton since it opened and has been in both the Baby and Toddler room and we cannot rate it highly enough. It really is like a home from home, I know when I drop my daughter off she will have a fantastic time full of love and laughter. Everyday teaches

her something new through a vast array of activities. They more than deserve there outstanding ofsted rating.

I can not praise this nursery enough!! Both of our girls love going to nursery and have settled in brilliantly. Our eldest also receives a little bit of extra care, which as a mum was very daunting to leave her in someone else's care but I couldn't be happier with how well she's looked after. Keep up

Overall Experience

I absolutely love Puddleducks Nursery Malton. It's so difficult to hand your baby over for the first time after maternity leave but the staff have made the whole transition more or less seamless!
Even though my daughter went for her last year of nursery and I knew the setting, I was apprehensive about

my baby starting as I was going back to work so much earlier than I had hoped and way before I did with my daughter. Puddleducks made me feel so comfortable and luckily my son took to his key worker and the other staff straight away. I felt listened to and understood and I have been so happy to drop him off every morning knowing how happy he is there.

Overall Experience

All our interactions with Puddleducks have been positive. The team are very friendly, accommodating and professional. I love the key worker system which has really helped my child settle at the nursery but he still gets plenty of time supported by the wider team. There's always a good range of activities

for the children to do. I appreciate how responsive the staff are to my child's mood/needs on any given day. The menu provision is excellent.

I couldn't be any more satisfied with our experience with Puddleducks in Sherriff Hutton. I have a three-year-old son in the preschool room and my 17-month-old son is in the baby room. Our youngest started just after his first birthday and we think the bond he formed with his key worker helped him settle

at Puddleducks being away from his parents for the first time. After a short time, he was smiling when getting out of the car in the morning because he knew he'd get a warm reception and a cuddle from their staff on the door before I took him up to his room. For my other son, we are very impressed by the way his key worker acknowledges what is important to him and uses that to support him. At collection, both of their key workers provide detailed reviews of our boys' days so we know the activities they've done, the development stages they've hit, what they've eaten and how they've been.
If you're looking for a nursery in the local area I would highly recommend Puddleducks.

My son has been attending Puddleducks Children's Nursery Sheriff Hutton since 2023 and I can honestly say I am so happy with the choice we made to put him into this nursery. The staff have such great communication with the parents, keeping us up to date with all information regarding funding, payments,

our child's development and other useful learning information.
My son is always so happy to be going to Puddleducks which is so settling for a parent knowing they are happy and safe in the setting. I get photographs to see what he has been up to and told after every session how he ate, what he played with and how his day has been in so much detail which I love! Also to have a menu sent to parents so we can see exactly what our child/children will be eating every week is a nice touch to keep parents involved.
The staff are always so helpful and will try everything they can to make your child feel happy and safe at Puddleducks.

Overall Experience

We really couldn't recommend Puddleducks Children's Nursery enough, our daughter started 7 months ago and it really is like a home from home and she happily waves me off every time she goes. The comfort it gives us as her parents, knowing how happy and well cared for she is wonderful - when you first

send your child to nursery it certainly doesn't come without some worries but all of these were instantly put at ease. Every single member of the whole team is an absolute credit to them. One of the best decisions we've made is sending our daughter here, thank you to the team.

We would recommend Puddleducks Nursery to anyone thinking of putting their child into a nursery setting. All of the staff are absolutely fabulous and greet each of the children with their name as they walk in which makes them feel welcome as soon as they arrive.
All of the rooms are beautiful and

are tailored to the needs of each age range and the outside facilities are brilliant too - our son loves them! Their communication cannot be faulted and we are notified of any issues quickly and they are also quick to reply to any questions you have.

Overall Experience

I have two children who attend Puddleducks Children's Nursery at Sheriff Hutton and have been using the nursery for the past two years. Owing to the ages of my children, I have had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with all three of the age group rooms and have been confident in the knowledge that

my children are happy, cared for and supported by all of the staff, including the office staff also, who take the time to know and understand each of the children in their building. The food provided at mealtimes is diverse and healthy, and the end of day briefings are both informative and reassuring. Each group of room staff ensures the children are occupied and encouraged to explore and learn on their own terms, with differing activities and themes. The implementation of a 'key person' for each child as a point of contact is really great, as this helps to really build a bond between the child and the staff member, and this continuity gives peace of mind to the parent.

I've been sending my boys to Puddleducks Nursery since 2021 and cannot fault them. My eldest is now at primary school and has had the most amazing start thanks to all his amazing key workers at Puddleducks. All staff members are so caring and approachable. I have always felt at ease leaving both my

boys with their key workers, knowing how well they will be cared for, something which is hugely important to me as a mum. The nursery is well equipped and their food is out of this world. My little boy went on so many trips when he was in their preschool room, such as visits to the library, Panto, care home and weekly visits to the local martial arts center - he loved this! Their outdoor space is the best, children have the freedom to spend all their time outside if they want to, this was really important to me when choosing a nursery. Highly recommend Puddleducks!

Puddleducks Nursery is an excellent nursery and I could not be happier with the care they give my son. He is always playing and learning new things and every day is a new exciting adventure. He is so happy and settled and bounces into nursery every day he attends with a massive smile on his face.
The

staff are incredible. They are always happy and every member of staff knows all the names of the children. They are caring, fun and child centred in everything they do. They really do go above and beyond. It is so much easier to leave my son when I know he is going to have a fantastic day and be cared for by so many lovely experts.

Overall Experience

We chose Puddleducks Children's Nursery because, as soon as we walked in, my husband turned to me and said, "If you designed a nursery, this would be it!" We'd looked at other nurseries (closer to home) but none came close.
In the year my child has been there, he's gone from a reserved baby to a confident

little boy. I believe so much of this is due to the love and learning at Puddleducks. He's still cautious in unfamiliar environments, but at Puddleducks, he's happy and confident trying new things. The fact he settles so quickly at drop-off speaks volumes about how comfortable he is there.
We love the curiosity approach and try to bring it home, finding fun in everyday items. We also really appreciate how they help the children understand and express their emotions. I've seen other nurseries scold or ignore when children take toys from each other, but Puddleducks helps children understand how the other child feels, too.
We're so happy we chose Puddleducks and genuinely recommend them to everyone!

Overall Experience

My son moved from an Outstanding rated Pre-School in Manchester in March 2024 to Puddleducks Nursery. I was nervous about how he would transition into a completely different setting as it seemed a lot calmer and more structured than his last pre-school.
His move was so smooth, I think as a result

of how lovely, kind and welcoming everyone is.
The amount of effort the team put in to arranging extra trips and people to visit is a truly enriching experience (trips to the zoo, the butcher, the florist, visits from farmers, animals etc.) as his old pre-school did not do anything like that.
There is a thorough handover at the end of each day including the activities they have done, what they have had to eat etc. There is also a social media page which is regularly updated with photos.
I would 100% recommend anyone in the area to attend and feel that they have prepared him well for school in September.
