Keswick House Nursery

Keswick House is a truly happy and homely place for the little ones to learn and thrive. Our son settled almost immediately and always shows a happy face running in without any hesitation. The teachers are warm and loving - he adores his key teachers (and so do we!) are simply outstanding. The nursery
finds a great balance between child-led exploration / development and gentle introduction of structures into their lives. There's always something fun happening from dance / music classes, forest school to seasonal themed events - there's a happy and relaxed vibe in which the little ones were taught numeracy and literacy along the way. Our son's learnt so much at the nursery so far, most importantly growing into a well-rounded and confident child within a lovely community. We absolutely recommend the nursery to anyone who's considering.

All three of our children have attended Keswick House and each one them have absolutely loved their experience at the nursery.
The level of care and attention is exceptional and they really do tailor their approach to each child's individual needs. The quality of teaching is second to none and forms
a solid foundation for starting primary school. The children are always more than Reception ready. The nursery is great at also providing a huge range of other activities for the children to get involved in, such as Forest School and other fun activities. The nursery focuses on creating well rounded and happy children.
It truly is a fantastic place for pre school children.

A warm and nurturing nursery where children are transformed into incredibly competent little people while learning through play. Fantastic teachers and a vibrant, safe environment. We have been very happy parents, and our little one has enjoyed being at nursery.

Keswick House Nursery

My three children have all been through Keswick House and I couldn't recommend it more highly. My youngest is there now in the upper nursery. I would especially recommend it to parents looking for a more academic educational route as there is a lot of focus on phonics, numeracy and learning in general.
The
nursery provides the whole package. They learn so much. They have fun. They are brilliantly cared for. They make great friends. There is a big garden to play in. They go out to forest school on a local Common. They leave very well prepared for Reception. There is very little staff turnover.
I have direct experience of three other local nurseries as my children are all autumn-born and had to go to other nurseries for a year before being old enough to start at Keswick House. The others all had their strengths but Keswick is the only one that ticks all the boxes.

Keswick House Nursery

There is a reason Keswick House is rated "Outstanding", the level of care and communication is exceptional, the children are always so happy, and the teachers clearly care a lot about each child.
My son took a little bit of time to settle in but he is now thriving and his confidence has rocketed! He
adores his friends and teachers, he talks endlessly about his weekly forest school, he has so much fun getting down and dirty in the outdoor play area, and surprisingly he has developed a keen interest in learning phonics! There are Spanish speakers there too so he can also be exposed during activities which is a bonus. He has made some great friends and there is a strong feeling of community with the parent's group and regular birthday parties.
I will definitely be sending my daughter there too and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Keswick House Nursery

I highly commend the entire team at Keswick for the care and early learning opportunities provided to the children at this nursery. Our eldest son started Lower Nursery in Sept 2021. He spent a very happy two years at KH, enjoying everything on offer and importantly gaining the social skills which made
the transition to Reception so easy. The staff were also on the frontfoot in identifying areas where he might need extra support and were fully committed to augmenting the work done by external providers. We received good insight about school choices when it came time for him to move on.
Our second son is now midway through his year in the Lower Nursery. He is also very happy there; highly stimulated and engaged.
The very experienced staff have created a wonderfully positive environment in which young children can explore, learn and make friends. As parents, we developed a strong relationship with our boys' carers because the channels of communication are always open.
Excellent!
