Overall Experience

My daughter started this nursery when she turned one year old. She is now two years old and is thriving here. Her language skills are advanced, with many people commenting on her speech and the nursery played a great part in helping her to develop in this area. She loves going here and even asks to

see some of the workers when it is the weekend. I only wish she could stay when she reaches three, as she gets on so well with the staff.

Overall Experience

My wee girl has been attending this nursery since April 2022 and I cannot recommend the entire staff highly enough. Coming out of a pandemic we struggled with her adjusting to new people and places, but the girls were fabulous working out a settling period that worked for us to ensure she was ready

for her full days and now she is thriving and absolutely loves her days there. She created such strong bonds and I attribute that to the care and time that the staff have put in. An amazing team and nursery for your child.

Overall Experience

My son has been attending this nursery, four days a week since he was 12 months old. His development over this time has been great and the staff at the nursery are extremely kind, polite and bring lots of energy for the kids - my son loves them! The nursery itself is always spotlessly clean from my

experience and has plenty of activities for the children to get involved in. Whilst their garden area is small, it has lots to offer the children thanks to some recent upgrades, which allows them the ability to immerse themselves into fun different worlds. The nursery also arranges day outings to local parks or attractions, which I think is great.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking and I can't rate the staff highly enough for their hard work and dedication to both the children and parents!

Overall Experience

The staff are lovely and you can tell they are invested in the children's welfare. My child settled in well and enjoys her time there. They have a lovely nursery, they have a small garden at the back, but made great use of the space for the children. They always take the children to go the park and

are also enjoying forest outdoor free play. Very pleased with this nursery and would recommend.

Overall Experience

Our child has settled into 3 Bears so well and they absolutely love going to nursery. There is a small outdoor space at the back and the staff make sure the children have lots of outdoor time, which is fantastic. Our child has come along leaps and bounds in their social skills since starting here and

is much more comfortable around other adults and children. We get really nice updates on the learning journals about milestones and I get the impression that the staff really celebrate the children's achievements. All meals, nappies and outdoor playsuits are provided, which are a bonus, as lots of nurseries don't offer those. Although it's a small nursery I think the staff make the most of what they have available, are creative and are always looking for ways to improve, which I really respect and appreciate. I only wish they could cater beyond 3 as I know my child won't want to leave when the time comes!

Love this nursery! Staff are so understanding and caring with the children. My boys love it too! They're always coming up with interesting activities for the kids like obstacle courses. They're really inviting and ready to listen to info or concerns you have. There's a clear and informative way of reporting

on your child's day. Only gave it 4 for outside as it's a bit small, but they've made good use of it and decorated it well.

Overall Experience

Our twins have been attending the 3 Bears @Hawthorns since they turned 1 year old. They are now almost 2 and a half years old and it's the best decision we have made sending them there. The staff are absolutely 10/10, always keeping in touch with updates. They are constantly doing learning activities

and I can go to work knowing that our daughters are having fun, learning and getting looked after. The relationships they have made with the staff are amazing and they love playing with their friends. Most importantly, we noticed a huge difference in development within weeks of the girls starting. They are absolutely thriving and they love their nursery days so much. I would highly recommend sending your children here.

Overall Experience

My son attends the nursery 4 days a week and has done for the last year. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery and I genuinely believe that it’s down to the motivation and support that he receives from the nursery staff. The online journal facility gives me great insight into all the

fun and learning that he takes part in on a daily basis. I think it’s great that this is completed throughout the day so I feel I’m regularly updated on how he’s getting on. The nursery mobile is great too - keeping me posted if there is any short-notice trips to the park or changes to the day. The nursery encourages parent feedback and suggestions which is great too. The staff are so approachable, dedicated and hardworking and that makes all the difference.

The staff are great and my daughter loves 3 Bears Nursery. My daughter has attended the nursery for nearly 2 years and she absolutely loves it. The staff are all brilliant and they are always coming up with new activities for the kids and my daughter has so much fun on her nursery days and has made her own wee friends at it. The nursery manager and deputy manager,

in particular, are fantastic and always on hand to answer any queries but all of the members of staff are lovely and my daughter has a lot of affection for them all. They are very encouraging of the children and recently aided me in reminding my daughter to go to the toilet with use of a reward chart they made for her. They do outdoor play as much as possible (something my daughter loves) and they always strive to do things better and do different things with the children. The director continually invests in new equipment for the children also.

I am continually being pleasantly surprised by my son's progress since joining this nursery! He is ahead in certain areas for his age and on track for the rest and I truely put it down to the engagement he receives within the nursery! Overall Experience

My family have been using Hawthorn for over two years now and we don’t have a single issue. My daughter was at Hawthorn for two years before moving up to the bigger nursery and I know she misses the staff at Hawthorn massively. Very friendly, helpful and thoughtful during the children’s birthdays. Having

used other nurseries before I feel Hawthorn is head and shoulders above the rest.

Overall Experience

Our son has been attending 3 Bears for about 20 months now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all friendly with a high degree of professionalism. There is always a variety of toys to play with and indoor/outdoor activities. The management are keen to involve the parents and regularly communicate

new ideas. The online journals are also a great way of communicating daily info such as meals, sleeps etc., as well as monitoring development. I've also found the management extremely flexible.
Overall this is an excellent nursery and we will miss the people when our son moves up to the next nursery.

Overall Experience

Really happy with the service and level of care provided by the staff at 3 Bears. Nothing is ever too much and we are always made to feel really welcome. Every day the children learn something different and explore new things.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been attending 3 bears nursery for roughly one and a half years now and so far so good. At the beginning there was tears from both of us for a very long time which I think was due to my daughter being so young when she started and also because we were both used to being with each other

all the time but the staff at the nursery settled us both at all times.

During the time I have been at the nursery I have had to change days and times frequently due to work commitments and the managers have been very helpful with this making sure that everyone is happy.

The snacks at 3 bears are always healthy and there is a range of choices.

The only bit if criticism I can think of is I feel from a personal point that the activities in which the children engage are sometimes very repetitive and not enough in the nicer weather I feel the nursery could take the kids outside of the nursery more but apart from that I am happy with the care if my child at 3 bears.

Overall Experience

We recently moved to the area and I was very anxious about moving my daughter to a new nursery and how well she would settle. I needn't have worried. Not a single tear and she's absolutely itching to get in every day. The girls are lovely and very attentive to her needs. Their child-led approach has

had a massive positive impact on my daughter - and I especially like how they will let her sleep for as long as she needs (in her last nursery all she would get is an hour and then they'd wake her up). In the few months she's been there I have noticed a massive difference in her with regards to confidence and her speech, and I would say the girls at Hawthorne have played a massive part in that.

The only piece of constructive feedback I can give, is that I'd like to see them going out more in to the community more and accessing the services that are available in the library etc.

I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery!

Overall Experience

The girls at 3 Bears Hawthorn Walk are fantastic, very caring and considerate. They give a full update at the end of the evening as well as with documentation which is great if someone else picks my son up. Every other week my son picks a book to read with us which is great as his books vary. Nursery

always clean. They embrace occasions like Halloween. Love when he comes home with paintings and even love when he's dirty means he has had a great tiring day.

Overall Experience

The nursery is intimate with 6 staff members, what I particularly like this about the nursery as I feel my son receives more one on one attention when needed. My son has come on leaps and bounds since joining nursery 6 months ago. He really enjoys going and always enters with a smile for the staff which

really reassures me when leaving him.
Staff are really good at keeping me informed of daily activities but also of upcoming plans for nursery and are always keen to have parents feedback. I have nothing but positive things to say about all staff members.
