From the moment a pupil enters Oakleigh House Nursery and Preschool, they become part of a school family. Oakleigh's youngest pupils thrive on the quality learning experiences that are planned and implemented by the team of highly dedicated and well qualified staff.

Oakleigh House Nursery is a wonderful setting, combining a warm and caring environment with an innovative and vibrant approach to learning. The setting aims to provide an exciting, stimulating and safe environment in which to play and learn and to challenge the children to always be the best they can be. Children can join the Nursery from two years, six months moving to Pre School the following academic year in readiness for Reception and beyond.

Competitively priced, the sessions include Outdoor Learning, Yoga, Gymnastics and Dance. Fees include all snacks, drinks, breakfast, a two-course lunch, and a light tea for those pupils attending the extended provision.

They have access to all the facilities and resources available at an independent school, such as a purpose built annexe, a large outdoor play area and multi-purpose hall. The setting is open from 8am - 6pm during term time and 8am - 5.30pm during Acorns Holiday Club.

Oakleigh House Nursery offers parents the flexibility of part time sessions to suit their requirements and term time only contracts.

From my experience the nursery provides excellent care to our child, the teachers and teaching assistants are extremely friendly and genuinely appear to have the best interests of all children as their primary concern.


We have certainly noticed the development and progress that our child had made

in a relatively short period of time.


Would definitely recommend.

Last week I attended a wonderful concert at Oakleigh House involving my 4 year-old granddaughter. It was an absolute pleasure to see the children demonstrating their learning to their proud parents and grandparents. I am frequently in awe of the passionate, caring staff who nurture such positive learning
to our youngest loved ones as they progress through their educational journey. To witness the children relish in their self-confidence in this way is evidence indeed of their learning achievements under the guise of very capable and caring staff.
As a family; we are highly impressed with the all round development of our precious child and truly believe that she is in the capable, safe hands of truly caring staff at Oakleigh.

My oldest and youngest son have both went to Oakleigh house nursery since they were 36 months old.
The nursery is amazing. Both our sons settled straight away and loved every second of being there. I feel this is down to the undivided attention they get from each member of staff. They take their time
to really get to know each child personally and I find this helps build a bond that as a parent really gives you a reassurance that whilst they are at nursery for the day you know they are being well cared and looked after.
The kids have a wonderful variety of topics and fun activities that are regular changed with each term. Keeping them fully engaged and interacting whilst having so much fun.
In a whole Oakleigh House Nursery has been nothing short of amazing and I cannot thank the incredible nursery teachers more.

The nursery and staff are all very very good, my daughter has come on in leaps and bounds with her confidence, her ability to count, say the alphabet and write simple words is progressing rapidly, she's only been going for 7 months, I look forward to seeing her progression as she is there longer. When
asking my daughter her favourite teacher she can't pick and will name them all.

It's been a pleasant experience so far with the school and staff.
Very polite and helpful teachers.
Child activities and education are excellent and my daughter loves it.
School Website or apps to pay fees or make bookings could be made more user friendly.
Car parking facility is rather inadequate.
But
we understand that no a lot can be done about it by the management.

Can't speak highly enough of the experience we have had with Oakliegh house nursery. The staff are incredible and so caring, it's like a home away from home for the children. They go above and beyond to make sure your child is safe and cared for. They take the extra time to help with any individual
needs my child has had, he's come on leeps with his confidence and education . I wish all children could experience time in Oakleigh nursery.

As a parent who wanted their child to attend an independent school I feel so lucky we have Oakleigh House School Nursery at the heart of Swansea. Close to grandparents for pick up but also they offer bus services. I was worried about such a commitment but Oakleigh House the head teacher and Admin made
the transition really smooth and have been great to us. I was worried about so much but the school sorts everything out from snacks/dinner and small toilets for potty training. Because of their small toilets potty training went really smooth for us. After her day at school our daughter has so much new conversations and has this confidence about her...we really look forward to seeing her grow at Oakleigh.

Our daughter has attended Oakleigh House School Nursery since she was 2 and a half years old (she is now 4). We have had the best experience imaginable. The Nursery Class Teacher and team are incredible at their jobs. The teachers genuinely care about every child and their passion for their roles is
evident. They are always smiling, the classes are fun, and my daughter loves going to school. She misses school during holidays and often talks about her teachers at home. Our daughter is thriving, she is so well prepared for reception already. Nursery Class Teacher is very skilled at making the learning fun, which is what they need at this young age. I also really like that outdoor learning is encouraged whenever possible. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, it is a joy to see our daughter enjoying her experience so much. Special thanks to the amazing team for always going above and beyond.

My mother absolutely loves going into preschool every day. She is getting everything she needs and more. All staff are fantastic and caring and I feel that they have really got to know my daughter. She is always very happy going in and coming out and as a parent all you want is for your child to be
happy. The Christmas play was fantastic and the whole of the nursery class were amazing.

Oakleigh House School truly values each child, with teachers who are dedicated to supporting their individual needs and fostering their growth. It was an absolutely amazing performance in Nursery 2. I really loved the angel outfits, it was so impressive to see the little ones follow the rules and sing together so nicely. So proud of all the children and thank you to two staff members in particular for their amazing hard work.

We feel so fortunate for our son to attend Oakleigh House School. Since attending we've noticed huge strides in our son's development. I cannot recommend Oakleigh House Nursery enough! The teachers here are exceptional, caring, dedicated, and highly skilled at engaging young children. They take the time to understand each child's individual needs and personality, creating a warm and nurturing environment where kids feel safe and loved.
The communication with parents is fantastic; they keep us informed with regular updates and photos and are always approachable for any questions or concerns.
Our little boy is so happy there and it's so reassuring that he's being so well cared for when he's not with us. It gives us enormous peace of mind. We could not be happier!

I am very happy to see improvement in my little sister. The school is doing really well and with the support of dedicated class teachers my sister is doing great in all fields. She is happy now going to school. I am very thankful to the school authorities. Very happy with the school system and with
the cooperative attitude of the teachers for making my sister more confident to participate in all sorts of activities. Thank you for your hard work in supporting my sister as she develops. I must say that you are really doing a great job as a past pupil myself. You give attention to each child and make sure that each child in your class is able to learn and have fun doing it. Nursery 1 is a lovely, welcoming environment for children starting at a young age. The children love attending, and the staff in Nursery 1 communicate well with parents. The teachers are caring and dedicated, and we can’t stress how quickly our children have settled into nursery and love it there!

The teachers are exceptional. My son had never attended childcare or nursery before, so he was upset to be leaving us initially, but after one term (his first) at Oakleigh House School Nursery, he is loving every minute. The teachers are excellent at calming and comforting the children when they are
upset and have formed a lovely bond with him already.
My son is learning so much already, coming home with artwork and developing his language so quickly.
I have really appreciated how much communication we receive daily, and the updates on the app of each activity. The experience at the nursery couldn't be going any better.

Our son was anxious with a fear of separation, yet the nursery team quickly came up with solutions and were so welcoming and kind that within a couple of weeks he was running into his classroom, forming attachments with his teachers and thoroughly enjoying his time. It is a very good school with great
communication and a caring atmosphere.

Our daughter joined the nursery after Easter, and we couldn’t be happier with how her first few weeks of nursery have been. Two members of staff, in particular, have been wonderful with her, making it a lovely environment for her to learn and play.
