Buttercups Chalfont Park is set across three historic buildings in beautiful parkland. The newly refurbished Orangery is the home of the under 2s, with lots of space to play, a separate sleep room and a garden to themselves. Also newly refurbished, the Lodge houses 2-3 year olds who have access to two garden areas. Finally, the preschool children enjoy the Pavilion, a purpose-built building filled with light. The Pavilion has a dedicated Montessori area and opens onto a fantastic outdoor space. The preschool children also enjoy regular Forest School sessions and swimming lessons at a nearby school.

At the nursery there is a focus on "learning through play", promoting children's natural sense of curiosity, independence and critical thinking skills. There is also emphasis on a range of teaching approaches, including Montessori and HighScope.

The team of experienced practitioners are well supported throughout their roles, allowing them to be the best educators they can be. This is achieved through regular in-house training programmes and external courses.

Lovely teacher and wonderful person. Very approachable and sweet to interact with. They work hard on the children in the nursery. They maintain the positive environment in Montessori. One staff member, in particular, is a team player and encourages everyone in the nursery and the parents to work towards
the development of the kids and to maintain the structure in nursery and Montessori.

Very happy with the outstanding care and education of my child. The staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. The Montessori teacher is amazing and my daughter loves her and Montessori. It has taught her life skills and to be ready for school.

our son has been in Buttercups for a year and a half now and will be leaving in a few days to start reception. He has improved in so many ways that we couldn't have imagined. He's well behaved, sociable, confident and knows his numbers and letters. All thanks to the excellent care that he's been getting
from every single staff member at Buttercups. We feel so lucky that we managed to get him in and we are grateful for all the care and consideration they have given to our son. Everything is so nicely done and attention is paid to every aspect of children's wellbeing. Thanks to all the staff at Buttercups at Chalfont.

Buttercups Chalfont Park is a wonderful nursery. The staff are amazing and they really care about the children. I was nervous about my little one starting nursery as he was a “lockdown baby” but he settled in so nicely at Buttercups. He has really grown and developed since going to nursery and this
is largely down to the staff working there. I can’t praise them enough. They made us feel comfortable and welcome since day one. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Chalfont Park since he was 1 years old. He has always been so happy to go in each morning and is excited at pick up time also, this clearly shows how much fun he has during his day. The staff are always happy to help during pick up and drop off (limited contact and communication
at the door due to covid) and any additional information, as well as photos, are received daily via email. The activities we see in the photos are excellent and my son always talks about what he has done. He is due to start school in September and I know he will miss his nursery, teachers and friends he has made over the last few years. Could not recommend it enough!

A beautiful nursery setting, with outstanding care delivered around our child.
Lovely activities take place daily with my child learning only the best education.
Good variety of food on the menu and cooked fresh.
I would recommend this nursery to everyone as the quality is just amazing! My child
has come a long way whilst attending this nursery.
It has a great outdoor space with each building having its own garden. Staff are always welcoming and happy, as well as willing to give the best advice and information on your child!

My daughter joined just before Christmas when we moved house and the team have been so welcoming. I've been so impressed with the high level of care. The staff are passionate, skilled and my daughter loves them. The facilities are brilliant, especially the outside space and they do such a variety of
activities with the children. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone, it's fantastic.

My experience of Buttercups at Chalfont has been a positive one. My daughter previously attended and now my son. He comes out very happy each day, so I see this as a positive sign! He eats all of the food and has come on with speech and learning since attending. Staff are lovely and always there to

Extremely professional nursery, friendly and welcoming staff. Very approachable. Any queries or issues are taken professionally. Love the Montessori learning. This is a fantastic nursery. Great facilities, lovely location and dedicated staff. My son has been attending since he was a 11 months old. He learns something new every day and he developed a lot through play and activities at nursery. I also love that they play outside in the fresh air every day,
which I think is extremely important. We are very grateful to the staff for looking after our son.

My daughter loves Buttercups and her teachers. She looks forward to going to nursery and that gives me peace of mind. I love how they always celebrate every occasion and make things special for the kids, being a working mum I feel less guilty leaving my child. The facilities are also good, very clean
and safe. I get daily debrief without having to ask and given all the changes and adjustments because of the pandemic, the staff have all been truly amazing and adjusting.

Buttercups at Chalfont is wonderful. I feel happy knowing that my daughter is in a safe environment, even in the current climate with COVID19. Our son has been at Chalfont Buttercups for two years and he is now leaving to start school. He has enjoyed every minute and the staff have been absolutely amazing. Facilities and teaching methods are excellent with Montessori being a central point in helping children to develop. A great addition has
been the forest school where he has been learning about the environment, getting some useful life skills and independence. He will be leaving lots of happy memories and well prepared for the next challenge. We are very proud of the progress he has made. He has been encouraged to try his very best. A big thank you to all the staff, you have made a great job.
