Nursery Rhymes – Stoneygate, Day nursery and Pre-school, is an award-winning Nursery providing outstanding childcare where your child will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities in a unique family run home from home setting.

Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.

The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.

Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.

Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.

The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Nursery Rhymes is the most exceptional nursery school and pre-school. It is a joy to drop my daughter off, knowing her days will be filled with exciting and stimulating activities. She has become more independent through their nurturing care and she enjoys learning new things which is based on her learning
needs. To sum up, a fantastic nursery providing excellent care!

I will start off by saying, I sat in the nursery manager's office with tears at the thought of my daughter starting in a few months. I had originally put down we wanted to attend four days a week but my feelings changed when I actually had my daughter. The manager put no pressure on me at all, listened
to my concerns and reassured me we could see how my daughter settles in and take it from there. Fast forward my daughter settled in so happily and so quickly. Her face lights up when she sees the building. She talks about her key person and all the babies. They provide wonderful updates on the app and what every parent wants to know if they have napped and have they eaten. What I appreciate the most is when they message to say if my daughter is struggling because then we can make the decision to pick her up early (for example when she was teething). This nursery is perfect fit for all the nervous parents. The baby room is a wonderful space and the staff are lovely.

We couldn’t be happier with Nursery Rhymes. Our daughter started going there at 8 months one day a week and went full time at 11 months. They took so much care to settle her in and she’s always enjoyed her time there. The range and quality of food is really good. They send regular updates throughout
the day and also provide us with developmental updates. Our daughter has made strong bonds with all the staff in baby room. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone thinking of sending their child there.

My daughter attends this preschool and she absolutely loves it! Such a fun, nurturing environment and carers are all so wonderful and caring - each having a special bond with the children. My daughter loves the staff here and I'm worried about her starting school and having to leave such a wonderful
place! I'll be sending daughter number 2 to this nursery. Wonderful place, can't compliment it enough! Keep up the brilliant work!

My child has been attending Nursery Rhymes and started off in the baby room and now in the toddler room. He loves it there and I can see the happiness on his face when we arrive at nursery in the morning to drop him off. They do a range of activities with him, and I can see how much he has developed
in terms of his social and personal development. I always look forward to the daily update on what he has been doing. The nursery is very good at keeping parents up to date on the app, nothing is too much bother and they will go out of their way to help in any way they can. I highly recommend the nursery and am so glad my son is here.

So incredibly pleased with Nursery Rhymes! Their care has been phenomenal. Our son started nursery at three years old and struggled to get used to the new routine. The staff were patient, considerate and thoughtful - they understood that he needed time and now he loves it. The manager and the pre-school
team are fantastic and we can't recommend them enough.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old! From the baby room through to the toddler room she has been looked after, nurtured and loved immensely! The key workers are so personable and my daughter kisses me goodbye and runs in every morning with smiles ready for her breakfast.

Fantastic nursery. My son has gained so much knowledge, confidence and ability from attending Nursery Rhymes. My daughter loves attending Nursery Rhymes. She has built close bonds with various staff members in the toddler room and made many friends along the way. The app allows us to remain updated about our daughter's day and communicate with the staff who look after her.

My daughter started Nursery Rhymes when she was nine months old and I was worried as she was too little, but she was very welcomed and looked after very well. The staff are amazing, I couldn’t ask for any better nursery and care they provide to every child from early age. She is toddler now and loves
Nursery Rhymes so much, she is excited every morning to go to nursery and play with her friends. She has lots of fun and is learning new things every day. I can clearly see her development is going very well. Updates and observations made by child’s key person are very detailed and this is what every parent wants to see. All I can say that my daughter is very happy being at this nursery and this is best rating I believe.

Nursery Rhymes is an absolutely fantastic daycare! We were thrilled by what we had heard prior to enrolling our first and it was all indeed spot on. The management and the nursery staff are all amazing and have looked after our child very well. The meals are always nutritious, the activities are educational,
we receive daily photos of our child’s day, which we always look forward to. Additionally, the staff are great listeners and are always willing to adapt to our child’s individual needs! Most importantly, my child always leaves with a big smile on her face! Thank you Nursery Rhymes!

My husband and I are so happy we chose this nursery for our daughter. Her face lights up with excitement every time we approach the nursery and it's all thanks to her incredible key worker and the nurturing environment they provide. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about each child's well-being
and happiness. Communication with the nursery has been exceptional. We love receiving regular updates, messages and adorable pictures of our daughter's activities through the app. It's such a heartwarming feeling to be connected with her throughout the day. We have sent our son for a year now and overall we have been very pleased with everything about Nursery Rhymes. One staff member from baby room and another practitioner in toddler room are exceptionally good! They are very prompt with any questions when asked about our child. Had a very good experience

Excellent care provided. A lot of new things learnt by the babies and lots of days out. My baby is learning all the time whilst at nursery and picks up all sorts of different skills. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The use of the app is an excellent way to keep me updated about my baby’s day
and you can always refer back to it whenever you need to. Staff are encouraging and listen to your child’s needs and wants. We always have a happy and messy baby back at the end of the day and we know he has always had a good day.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough! The staff is lovely and they take amazing care of our little girl. They provide a variety of nutritious meals, we get ongoing updates of her daily activities and a short verbal report of her day when we pick her up. They always listen and adapt to changes and requests
from our side. They really care when baby is unwell or unsettled, they keep constant communication with us in those cases.
We also get longer reports every now and then showing our girl’s development progress, which is always exciting to read. She is learning so much and thriving there, developing social skills and already making friends.
Seeing your child’s excitement about being dropped off there in the morning speaks volumes. She would run towards her teacher with a smile, not so keen to be picked up in the evening I can say!
I’m very happy we picked this nursery, I haven’t had a single day of worry while our girl has been in their care.
