Nursery Rhymes – Stoneygate, Day nursery and Pre-school, is an award-winning Nursery providing outstanding childcare where your child will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities in a unique family run home from home setting.

Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.

The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.

Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.

Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.

The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

Brilliant nursery, very happy they have been recommended to us by a very good friend. The team have been great at welcoming our eleven month year old who has been very limited with outside contact in these current times. One member of staff was brilliant with our settling in sessions and another has
been very supportive and caring of our little boy. He has bonded brilliantly with her and seems to be picking up so much since starting.The nursery is full of brilliant activities to keep our little boy busy and learning many new things. We are receiving detailed updates throughout the day via the app, along with pictures, nappy changes, naps and other activities. The team have been great, and I can only highly recommend this nursery.

My son loves attending Nursery Rhymes - Leicester and has settled very well. He has been attending since August 2020 and in the short time has learnt loads of new things. The staff are very friendly and do loads of activities with the children. I love seeing the pictures the nursery sends daily, so
we can see what he has been doing whilst he is there. The management are very attentive and always happy to assist when anything is raised.

Great place, kids love it and feedback to and from the nursery is top-notch. Kids really enjoy the fresh food served daily. I feel really confident that my son will be fully prepared for school when he heads there in the near future. My little girl is really learning to communicate at an amazing rare,
with their expert guidance.

My daughter loves going to see all her friends at nursery. This weekend she told me she missed her key worker. She’s usually a very light sleeper at home but Nursery Rhymes - Leicester have managed it perfectly. Thanks Nursery Rhymes - Leicester.

Lovely nursery. Staff are always happy, friendly and make a wonderful effort to form a good bond with the children. Nursery to parent communications are excellent, as we are always kept up to date with how our daughter is getting on. Our daughter is very happy here, so much so that she asks to attend
at the weekend! We would highly recommend the nursery to prospective parents.

Nursery Rhymes - Leicester is excellent for a number of reasons. First and foremost they safeguard and look after my child. He really enjoys his activity filled days. The staff really helped to develop his eating skills, which he is now much improved. We feel he is genuinely cared for. The staff encourage
development and handily fill out a development and capability assessment tool every week. This can help us focus attention. We couldn’t be more pleased with the nursery and have recommended them to friends.

This nursery is a home from home. The staff are all brilliant with the kids, very caring and nurturing. Three of my kids have been to Nursery Rhymes - Leicester and all have been very happy. Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Have been excellent support for our family in difficult COVID-19 circumstances since August 2020, and really helped both our young children’s development. Provide regular updates, photos and development advice throughout each day via app.

I would highly recommend Nursery Rhymes to all parents. My husband and I went to look at several other nurseries and this one really stood out for us from day one.
The management and staff are very friendly and approachable. The quality of the facilities, care, activities and the key worker's observations
are all done to a high standard.
Our little boy really enjoys going every day and has significantly developed, gained self-confidence and been taught polite manners.

We’re so lucky to have found Nursery Rhymes for our daughter. She’s so happy and settled there, even with the changes brought about by covid. The staff are ALL incredibly friendly, professional and genuinely caring. We’ve never hesitated to leave her in their care - and she doesn’t hesitate to run in,
in the mornings! Their staff retention is excellent and she has a key person who we see every day. In her absence, another member of the team is always on hand. Even the lovely chef gets a mention at home! 10/10 on every level! Hugely recommended!

My son really enjoys going to nursery here! He is always excited for his day. The staff are all so lovely and caring. When providing feedback about my son's day the staff really gives every detail, so I always feel like I am not missing out on anything and shows that she really cares about his development.

Couldn't recommend Nursery Rhymes enough! Excellent nursery with caring and friendly staff. Our son is very happy attending and is learning and developing well. After much deliberation we decided to send our son to Nursery Rhymes. We’d researched various nurseries and this one seemed to be the right fit for what we were looking for in terms of child development, atmosphere, friendliness of staff, hygiene etc. My son started at 10 months old and being our firstborn,
we were naturally anxious. In just 4 months of him being there I've seen a huge leap in his development, he’s really settled in well and enjoys nursery. The key workers are doing an amazing job and spend time to discuss what he’s been doing during the day. The addition of the Famly App has been instrumental as we’re constantly engaged in his daily activities and pictures are frequently uploaded. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Nursery Rhymes for making it a pleasurable experience for both parent and child, and a special thanks to his key worker for constantly being there for him and providing us with weekly reports on his progress.

My first child had an excellent experience at Nursery Rhymes, it was without question that my second child would follow 10 years later in her footsteps.
I have no concerns regarding the nursery and feel very reassured seeing a lot of familiar faces. Knowing staff retention is high is a clear indicator
that they are happy.
The fact we have started in the middle of a pandemic was more of a worry but we are 100% confident in all of the processes the nursery has put in place to safeguard each and every child and staff member.
I have not been into the nursery and strangely enough, this has not bothered me as the confidence and interaction I feel from all the staff provides me with the reassurance that all is well.
My daughter has recently turned 1. I am happy with how well she has adapted going to nursery. Living within the constraints of lockdowns restricts our options with regards to child activities. The nursery has been an outlet to cater for her needs, growth, and confidence.

Such a warm, caring and happy nursery. My daughter was fortunate to receive a place here after being unhappy at her previous stetting so I feel I can say this definitely is the best. The staff are amazing, so kind and they adore the children. Communication is superb and personal, there definitely is
a family feeling here. I know my child is content because she talks so positively about her day in the preschool room and she is learning and developing. A huge thank you to the team at Nursery Rhymes because it’s such a relief to know our daughter enjoys her childcare when we can’t be with her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Nursery Rhymes. As a first-time mother/father, we were extremely anxious about putting our child in a nursery. However, our worries quickly disappeared as soon as our son went to his settling in day. Even though we could not be there with him during those hours due to Covid-19,
his keyworker sent several photos and seeing his smiling face in those photos really reassured me. It has been three weeks since he started attending Nursery Rhymes, but every interaction we have had with the teachers/ managers have been nothing but pure professionalism/positivity/friendliness. Our son must be receiving tons of attention and hugs, because we see that the rate at which our son develops his multiple physical/emotional skills have increased ever since he started attending this nursery.

When first visiting Nursery Rhymes, we instantly felt comfortable and were reassured by their 'home from home' approach to looking after the children. Our 9-month-old son loves his time there and always looks forward to his nursery days! The team are very responsive to messages and have been extremely
accommodating to our son's dietary requirements due to allergies, as well as closely following the nap routines that he is used to at home. An overall great experience!

Our eldest child will shortly be coming to the end of his time at Nursery Rhymes when he leaves for primary school, after starting at 10 months old.
We’d wholeheartedly recommend the nursery to other parents and had no hesitation in sending our youngest there as well.
The environment is fantastic
and has been improved further with the recent extension, but it’s the entire staff who make this place so special - they’re all brilliant without exception.
