Nursery Rhymes – Stoneygate, Day nursery and Pre-school, is an award-winning Nursery providing outstanding childcare where your child will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities in a unique family run home from home setting.

Nursery Rhymes - Stoneygate opened under the group name of Nursery Rhymes - Leicester in 2009 and provides quality day care for babies and children from 6 months – 6 years of age in a safe & secure setting, complemented by the nursery's state-of-the-art authorised door entry system and CCTV.

The unique property, on the exclusive leafy Knighton Grange Road bordering Stoneygate and Oadby, is only a 5-10 minute drive from Leicester City Centre along the main (A6) London Road.

Provisions include ICT, quiet room, art and craft, cooking and gardening, music and movement, French, forest schools, singing and stories, water and sand activities and role play.

Your child will be lovingly cared for by qualified, enthusiastic & dedicated staff in a stimulating environment led by the manager who is NNEB qualified and has 14 years' experience in childcare working with children in day nurseries, family centres and schools.

The majority of the great team have been with the setting for well over 5 years, with many being a part of the "Rhymes team" for over 10 years!

My daughter started at nursery rhymes in July. She has settled in quickly. The staff are all brilliant and so friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a small, homely nursery!

My son started Nursery Rhymes at the age of 3 after I was concerned about his progress at his previous setting. It was the best decision I have ever made and am so glad I made the change. He has flourished and progressed beyond his years! I know this is down to the setting at Nursery Rhymes and the
dedication of the teaching staff. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and can say I have always been greeted with a smile at 8am or 6pm! Keep up the good work girls!

Nursery Rhymes is an outstanding nursery for your little ones. Everyone is so friendly caring and looking after/caring for your child as number one rather than a business.
Just after a few months, I can already see our little one has developed in all areas, knowing he is in a safe environment. Everyone
is accommodating helping out when personal circumstances change.
Send your little ones here trust me! there is no one more difficult to impress than me, due to the nature of my job.

I have two children at the nursery and have seen great developments with both. My oldest son started in the baby room and is now in pre-school. He has shown so much progress and is such a confident young boy thanks to Nursery Rhymes. The way the staff have helped him with numbers, the alphabet, months
of the year and days of the week is commendable.


My youngest son has just started in the baby room and the staff made him feel very welcome from the start. He has now settled very well into nursery life, always smiling and happy.

My son started at 12 months in the baby room, I have no problem with this nursery. My son is happy and smiling away. Staff are friendly. Moved to the toddler room, learning a lot, lots of toys, the garden is a bonus.
My son loves the pre-school he was so happy to move over, they have a projector board
which he loves and lots of toys. He knows his ABC's, 123's and days of the week etc. I see the difference and I am so glad he is learning a lot, getting ready for school.

Nursery Rhymes is a great nursery! My daughter has been coming here since she was 10 months old and is now ready to leave for school. She has loved her time at nursery and I would recommend the nursery to anyone wanting their child to really blossom. It is a lovely home from home environment with great
staff, they are lovely and very friendly which makes it all the better for parents leaving their children.
We will miss Nursery Rhymes very much and have loved seeing my daughter grow from a young girl to miss confident. They are amazing at what they do.

My daughter has been at Nursery Rhymes since she was 8 months old and will stay here until she attends school. She has loved her experience since the start, the nursery has a 'family feel' and I feel my daughter is safe, stimulated educationally and most importantly, is happy.
I would recommend this
nursery to anyone thinking about starting their child at nursery. There are so many positive things to say about the nursery.

Nursery Rhymes - Leicester is an outstanding nursery for children and I am so glad to have chosen it for my daughter, the setting in process was quite difficult for her at first by the carers were extremely supportive and caring. All the staff genuinely love and care for the children are enthusiastic
and encouraging and always welcome the children with a smile. The manager of this nursery has done a fantastic job in making the nursery and it's staff a pleasure to be around. Overall superb and I have no hesitation in recommending Nursery Rhymes - Leicester highly to friends and family. Well done Nursery Rhymes - Leicester.

My experience with Nursery Rhymes has been excellent, my daughter has been cared for excellently in every aspect, I have no concerns whatsoever.
My daughter looks forward to nursery every morning, and when I pick her up she's always happy and full of energy. She has made excellent progress throughout

We are extremely pleased with the nursery from top to bottom. My daughter has developed into a very good girl knowing many things already, like saying please and thank you, brushing her teeth which is down to the staff taking their time and teaching in a very fun way. I have two daughters at the nursery who are very happy and developing well. The nursery has a very homely feel to it, which is lacking in most of the neighbouring ones. The staff are really friendly, experienced and you can see the genuine care that they have for the children.
