Spring Seesaw is a purpose-built, modern-day nursery in the heart of Braintree, close to train and bus links. The nursery provides care and education for children from 0 years to 11 years and 11 months, offering flexible sessions and support with 2 years, 3 and 4-years funding and 30 hours funding. From September 2024, the nursery will also be accepting 0-2 year funding.

The nursery is staffed by a team of fully qualified staff who hold safeguarding, paediatric first aid, health and safety, behaviour management, and food hygiene as standard practice; staff also have experience and training with supporting children with special educational needs.

The nursery is proud to have large outside spaces attached to each room as well as a separate forest school area for the children to access freely throughout the session which provide a variety of different physical activities, role play opportunities, mark making opportunities and games.

The setting has close links with John Bunyan infant school which supports and aids the children's transition to reception class and actively promotes parents as partners, holding regular stay and play sessions as well as opportunities for parents to take part in events.

The nursery has a sensory room dedicated for children with additional needs and also hosts weekly forest school sessions within the grounds which is led by the forest school leader.

I am absolutely thrilled with this nursery. I am a first-time mother, and putting my baby in the care of anyone else is worrying. Every single staff member made sure my little one and I were comfortable and happy. We've always recieved updates via the app to keep my mind at ease. My daughter has been
going here since the beginning of September when they opened their baby room, and she loves attending and loves all the staff members. I can not fault anything and am really pleased with my decision of sending her here.

My daughter has been attending Spring Seesaw for over two years now. She absolutely adores going to the nursery every day. I can't thank enough the staff for always being so friendly, caring and helpful. Every week they plan new great activities and themes for the kids to learn and interact with, which
makes them grow independently. My daughter loves it! The communication with parents is excellent. The app is regularly updated every day, including feeding times, activities on the day and focus observations in your child, also a briefing about your child at picking-up times. Food is freshly cooked every day, and the menu is healthy. Great indoor and outdoor space. We could not be any happier with the entire team. Highly recommended! This nursery is fantastic. I moved my son here from another nursery which we had lots of problems with, but since being at Spring Seasaw, my son has come leaps and bounds! All the staff go above and beyond for the children, and I can't wait for my daughter to start in January.

The staff are so kind. My son goes into nursery and gets unsettled, and the staff are always there to calm him down etc. Absolutely love this nursery; they keep you updated on what your child has eaten and how much they have eaten, nappy changed etc, and you can also see photos and videos of the progression
of your child's time at the nursery and their goals.

Both of my children have attended and still attend the nursery. Both of my children have flourished and grown amazingly with the amazing care and support the girls offer here.
I have recommended this nursery to a few of my mum friends, and they say the exact same.
My eldest now attends their after-school
club, and she still comes home saying how much fun she has had.
My little boy was very anxious about being separated from myself when he started due to Covid; however, he has changed totally, and he walks in all happy and excited. He always has a wonderful day as well.
Everyone in the nursery is so supportive and helpful.

Amazing place for kids. My child joined when she was 2 years old and had problems settling in at the beginning, but now she loves to go there every day. She made friends, and it's just amazing to see her happy there.
She has her favourite routines, games and plays. Staff are very supportive and understanding,
especially when she needs to have her hair brushed.

My little boy has been attending since May 2021, and he loves it! All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I get updates through the day with what he has been eating etc, and occasionally get photos and a detailed description of an activity he's been taking part in. They also give me a quick update
when I go to collect him at the end of his day. He recently had a little accident at nursery, bumping his head (no fault of the staff), but they ensured he was safe and well, and when I later emailed and asked for a deeper explanation of what happened, they didn't hesitate to call and give me a full rundown of the events and continuously checked and asked how he was following. They really try to help bring his speech along, which is now improving, and they do everything they can to encourage this! I have recommended Spring to friends and will continue to do so.

My son goes to the afterschool club, and he really enjoys it. Even though he is nine, they still have a lot of activities to do. The staff are amazing, as they are so involved, and they sit down with my son when he is upset and listen to him. I always recommend the nursery 100% because they are always

Where to start - this nursery has lovely, lovely staff, welcoming and has made both my little girls so welcome and feel so loved. My two girls have achieved so much due to Springs's teaching. My youngest misses her key workers when not there, and my eldest daughter still has the same key workers to
this day and looks forward to seeing them on the way to school. I will definitely be putting my son in this nursery in a year and am very sad they aren't going to be in our daily life. Their relationship with their parents is great also.

Our son has loved his nursery experience. He’s learnt so much and has so much fun. This nursery is so good. Actually, my little girl has made so much progress, and I get so much support from the staff working with her as she needs more help, but they have been fantastic with her.
