They are based in Dagenham, not far from Dagenham East tube and close to The Leys park. It's a bright, modern nursery with rooms for different age groups and a surrounding garden for free-flow play.

The experienced staff plan each day with help from the children. Each child can choose the activities they enjoy... sensory play with ice and water, small world play with dinosaurs, languages, construction, obstacle courses, and more!

The Nursery's chef provides all meals from scratch using recipes from LEYF’s nutritious menu.

Honestly, myself and my partner have had such an amazing experience with our son at Leys.
Our son is in need of special assistance quite a lot of the time as he’s non-verbal at the moment and the amount of effort all the staff put into him is amazing, they all give an incredibly warm feeling and make
one feel incredibly comfortable with sending their child to them. I’m incredibly impressed and thankful for everything they do for my son and how they are always trying to do things in the best interest of him. I couldn’t ask for better. Even when my son is having his little moments the staff are right there helping calm him. They are always so consistent with keeping us updated whether it be photos of him or just noticing they’ve changed his nappy. They are honestly and truly amazing.

A nursery that listens and works hard to implant what is discussed between parents and staff.
My children have learnt so much and I can see this at home. They use new words and phrases that teachers taught them to express themselves to the adults and peers around them.
They are low on staffing and
I can see this as more targeted work could be done with the children starting reception this year.

My experience with Leys Nursery is good, outstanding support to my little one and very good trained professional staff. Healthy snacks and lunch and lots of fun activities.

My son has been attending Leys for the last two years and I've seen so much growth with his social interaction. The staff are attentive and show a level of care for all children. They're quick to pick up the needs of a child and take action promptly and effectively. It's one of the best nurseries in
the area.

Finding this nursery for my daughter is a real blessing. Considering that my daughter was born right before lockdown started and that she, therefore, had very limited experiences of other people, let alone groups, the whole process of getting used to attending nursery has gone better than my husband
and I had anticipated.
She has bonded beautifully with one team member particularly but appears really relaxed and happy around every team member. When she comes back she is always nicely dressed, clean, smells lovely - she is content. Everyone we have met is compassionate, practical, reassuring and approachable. The whole process was as close to effortless as possible. We were very apprehensive before dropping off our daughter for her shadowing sessions but everything has gone perfectly and we could not be happier. We felt heard, understood and respected, and our daughter's and family's needs were taken into genuine consideration. This whole team has earned our trust very quickly.

I have one child who has moved on to school and another currently at the nursery. Both children have had a fantastic time. They are always eager and happy to go, come home with fun stories and lots of proud art. The staff have always been attentive, informative and happy to talk about the children's
progress and keep us updated. We have had a fantastic experience and would recommend to others. Thanks.

I brought my daughter into Leys Nursery & Pre-School prior to lockdown and she was there for about 2 weeks, kind of settling in, we then restarted in June when I had to go back to work.
I can only say that my daughter is waking up every day 1hr before we have to leave the house and she’s asking me
to open the door for her to go nursery to play and she’s calling out kids names (her mates from nursery). The development that she has had in this nursery is just too much for a mother to ask.
Outstanding staff and facilities. My daughter is loving every single minute she spends there.
Happy baby happy mother.

I am very pleased with how my son has settled into nursery since he joined in March. It is a very nurturing environment where the staff are very helpful and friendly. They have built a good relationship with my son and it is evident that his well-being is their top priority. The room is large, well
equipped and always clean and tidy. The children have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and again, space is well resourced with age-appropriate equipment. He has had the opportunity to do so many different activities since he joined the nursery to promote and support all areas of his development.


Feedback from the staff is excellent on a daily basis and gives me an insight into what he has been doing.


I am completely confident in leaving my son in the care of the Leys staff and knowing that he is safe and happy.

It is always hard returning back to work and having to leave your child but Leys Nursery at Dagenham makes it easier, they are kind, caring and supportive to you and your child.

I have trusted this nursery with both my children from when they were both under 1 year old. I have always found them to be professional, caring and conscientious in their looking after/education of my children from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. My children both love and loved attending and have thrived
under their care. My children get lots of love and engaging activities. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Ultimately they are as caring at the end of the day as at the beginning.

Fantastic engagement from staff to children and to parents. Thorough run-down of the day every day at pick-up. My child was very shy and cried when left on the first day. By day 5, was walking in on his own and asking to not leave! At parents evening we are given a progress book that is explained as
easy to follow but there are no surprises because of the level of engagement every day. Staff will and have gone out of their way to help. I desperately wanted my children to go here. My gut was right and I have never regretted the decision. Highly recommend and recommended to friends. Thank you!

A fantastic environment for children. The nursery is well run with lovely staff. The staff are friendly, caring and supportive, they take time to build a relationship with each child.
They are always interacting with the children, encouraging them to get involved in activities and group time.

The best nursery in the town. Staff is very caring and highly professional. Overall, I am a very satisfied parent with the services provided by Leys Children's Centre Nursery. Leys nursery is a great establishment from the receptionist to the teachers/carers. My daughter has learnt a lot since she started going to the nursery. They make sure parents are up-to-date with their child's development.
My daughter is always eager to go to nursery, even on weekends. She can't wait
to go back on Monday. Overall, it's a great place and should keep up the good job.

I find this nursery very good. Staff do take special care, attention to the children. My daughter does not like going to nursery as she is too close to me and when she arrives staff do take her and give attention by speaking to her, giving her a cuddle. Things like this do make a difference. When I
leave nursery I feel I can trust the staff and I know my daughter is safe and well.

The nursery at Leys itself is very bright and very clean environment. It provides effective learning. The teachers and carers are caring and very professional. My son can respond to words now more clearly and academically he is doing great, thanks to Leys Nursery.
The staff are always there to help,
the only problem I have personally is the Manager, who will not attend to your concerns.

The nursery is one of the best within this community because of the standard academically, support, facilities etc to mention very few among my review. I would see this because the few weeks that my son joined, there was a great change in my son's communication skills. I can recommend this nursery to
