Willaston Pre-school is a very experienced early years provider offering a wonderful nurturing environment for local children (aged 2 to 4) who live in the Crewe and Nantwich area (including Weston, Shavington, Hough, and Wistaston). Being nestled next to Willaston park, and with large spacious play areas both inside and outside, children gain essential social and academic skills by learning through play, with a great emphasis placed on outdoor activities for creativity and fitness.

Your child can start at any time to suit you. The pre-school is completely flexible which hours or days are booked and particularly suits teachers and other parents with term time working hours. Any hours can be funded up to the council maximum of 10 hours per day. Paid places are also available in return for modest fees. Staggered arrival and departure times mean the pre-school offers childcare from 7.30am until 5.30pm, 5 days a week. Ideally situated between the A500 and A534 means Willaston Pre-school is easy to access (and they have a car park).

The inspirational, close-knit, professional team, all qualified in paediatric first aid and led by a qualified early years practitioner, will ensure your child is ready for the demands of whichever reception class you eventually choose. As there are small child numbers (maximum 24 in total) and lots of adults, the team can offer individual learning plans for children which cater for diverse interests, including enrichment activities such as Spanish and cookery. Willaston Pre-school is independent and is not affiliated to any primary school or religion. It has good links with all local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition.

I was very apprehensive about my 2-year-old starting pre-school this September, as she has never been left with anyone else, but she has settled in so easily here. The staff are so nice and friendly and it really is like a home from home being a small pre-school. The staff/child ratio is also amazing
so they get that extra attention. My little girl loves her teachers already and loves talking about her morning on the car ride home. So glad we picked this preschool.

We could talk about how much we love Willaston Pre-school all day. The staff are the most caring, kind, supportive and genuinely incredible team. Our little boy is thriving here and is so excited to attend. The setting is wonderful with plenty of space for playing and learning. Thank you to all the

The staff a this nursery are superheroes and I can't give them enough credit or thanks for what they do! My little girl has been coming for the past year and I'm counting down the days for her brother to join her. I thought she was doing extremely well and was happy at her previous nursery but since
she's been coming here she's more than thrived. Every day in the summer holiday I was asked am I going to school today?
It's not fancy or high tech but this pre-school is full of fun, adventures and creative learning. I highly believe the staff do not see this as a job it's their passion. Personable childcare and development are at the heart of this school. I'm so proud to say my daughter comes here. Thank you for all that you do, we appreciate you all.

Just incredible!
My daughter started in May after having little/non nursery experience and the improvements we are seeing already are amazing. The educational and fun aspects are very well balanced and I think she is going to come on leaps and bounds.
Our daughter is delayed for her age due to her
medical history and every member of staff has really looked after her. As a parent, you always want to make sure you're sending your child to a loving and safe environment and I truly believe this is just that. All the staff go above and beyond, so thank you.

I would like to thank Willaston Preschool for being so supportive, caring and understanding. The ladies there are lovely, and always make sure your child is made to feel welcome as soon as they arrive through the gate in the morning! Lots of fun activities and outings are planned for them - and we
love the amount of outdoor exercise and activities which they do.
Would recommend them to anyone trying to make that decision as to which preschool to send their child to in the area!

My daughter attended over a period of 18 months (aged two and 3/4 to 4 and 1/4 years). I cannot rate this preschool highly enough. The staff are wonderful, always patient and loving with the children, and even more so with frazzled parents.
My daughter was not merely taught or cared for, but nurtured
here and that's been so evident in her smiles, memories, and love for her friends and leaders.
May I also commend the administrator who works voluntarily, always ready to help.

I am so glad I chose to send my children to Willaston Preschool. The ladies are absolutely fantastic, no job is too big or too small. There are so many lovely activities planned for the children e.g animals coming to visit from a local zoo, a day all about Rome, and not forgetting trips to the library
on the local bus and walks around the local area.

Since my little boy started at this preschool, I can't express enough how pleased I am with everything they do here. From the moment we visited the preschool before registering him, he was off playing straight away and settled right in. We knew he was going to be happy there! My little boy used to attend
a different nursery but had to move him as they closed their toddler room due to staffing levels. Whilst I never had any issues with the previous nursery, since he started at Willaston Pre-School I have noticed a huge change in his development. I think the fact they mix the 2-year-olds with the 3-year-olds is so beneficial as he is with older children he can learn from. All of the ladies are lovely and I cannot recommend this preschool enough!

My child has been going to Willaston Pre-School for over a year now and I can't thank all the staff enough for how much time and effort they have put in. My child has come a long way and was able to write their name after being there only a few months.
Absolutely outstanding pre-school - if there
were 6 stars, I would be choosing that! Thank you to all the lovely teachers and a special shout out to one staff member in particular who does a fabulous job on the admin too.

Such a lovely nursery. All staff are extremely friendly. My daughter has settled in better than I could have hoped. The key worker provides regular updates and puts my mind at rest about how my child is settling in. Drop off and pick up is smooth and informative!

In the time my daughter has spent with everyone at Willaston Pre-School she has been excited to go there every single day and we have been just as excited to pick her up just to hear what an amazing time she's had. All the staff have been beyond supportive and professional in each and every aspect and
we thank them for bestowing such positive memories in her life. She will remember her time with everyone and miss them very much.
We highly recommend Willaston Pre-School to anyone who has a child going into pre-school and my daughter would too.

Couldn't ask for a better pre-school for my little boy. The staff are always friendly and amazing with the children. Highly recommend this pre-school for any children aged 2 to 5. My other little boy enjoyed his time here and still says now he would go back in an instant as he misses his teachers

Such a friendly pre-school with a great adult to child ratio. The children receive 1 to 1 learning and lots of group activities. The outdoor area is great and the children are often outside playing during collection times. We chose this pre-school as the children sometimes go on little adventures around
the village or to the park at the back which my child enjoys. I would highly recommend this pre-school.

My daughter regularly informs us that she loves nursery. She asks if she can see the staff every weekend and on holidays, even when not at school. She has made significant progress both academically and socially since being at the nursery since February and bounces with excitement when she does attend.
The team provide exceptional provision for the students and my daughter is always counting, chanting colours, singing nursery rhymes and telling us stories about the amazing visits to care homes, the library and other countless experiences provided. You will find it difficult to beat the learning experiences provided here. Thank you all!

We have two grandchildren aged four and two who attend school hours Monday to Friday. Most importantly, they always look forward to attending, they are bright, happy and cheerful, if somewhat 'grubby' from a very enjoyable day irrespective of the weather on collection. A large amount of time appears
to be spent on outdoor activities and play, here they use their imagination and pretend whilst learning to express themselves. In our opinion, this has helped to develop their social and communication skills. The free play has improved the eldest's balance and dexterity, especially on a balance bike. They have both improved in their turn-taking and their caring for others through playing with mixed ages and abilities daily. The whole experience, especially the more formal and structured sessions, has helped to improve their ability to listen and follow instructions plus develop their patience. The celebration of success through praise and reward stickers along with constant encouragement has improved their learning skills. The independence of thought and problem-solving has helped develop their independence and identity within the positive supportive culture. Handovers at the start and end of each session are very detailed and personal to each child.

My son has attended the pre-school for almost two years and absolutely loves it. The staff are incredibly committed, kind and caring and have done so much to ensure that my son receives the support that he needs now and in the future. Their communication is outstanding with updates after almost every
session about my son's day and progress and any concerns discussed regularly. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they have ensured that my son has had the absolute best start to his education. I would highly recommend this pre-school to anyone looking for a place that truly cares for each individual child and works hard to give them the best possible care.

Our son has been attending Willaston Pre-school since September. He has additional needs and the staff have been nothing but brilliant. Communication between staff and parents is also excellent.
