Our daughter absolutely loves nursery. We have felt very safe sending her in during the pandemic as the staff have kept us up to date regularly and we see them all working hard to keep everyone safe. The staff in Toddlers and in the office are so helpful and lovely. Our daughter regularly talks about
them which is lovely to hear. We are looking forward to sending our son when he is ready.

Great nursery that's really helped my three year old daughter to develop all the skills she'll need, ready to start full time education. All the staff were approachable, friendly and really got to know my daughter. This includes the admin staff who always answered queries efficiently. All the best to

Our son loves Busy Bees at Spital. For any child it's difficult and he struggled with separation from us at first but he loves it now and looks forward to going. The range of activities they provide is great and they really look after him with his food. I in particular love the parent app as I find
out what he's eaten, what he's been doing and anything else necessary without having to pester the staff. We love sending him there and we will be sending our younger twins there as soon as we can. Thanks for everything Busy Bees at Spital.

My little boy joined Busy Bees at Spital in September. As a parent, not only is there the worry of your child going to nursery for the first time but also during a pandemic, well I need not of worried. The staff at the nursery have been fantastic! Ensuring that all measures are adhered to, the safety
of staff, children and parents and all whilst maintaining a great level of trust and reassurance to parents. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds in the six months he has been at nursery. The app is brilliant, and it's great to see what your little one is up to throughout the day. I could not recommend the nursery enough. My little one is shortly due to progress to the next room and the staff are ensuring this is a smooth transition whilst still adhering to Covid-19 guidelines. Thank you so much to the team at Busy Bees at Spital.

My first daughter was looked after by grandparents and unfortunately, this hasn't been able to happen the second time around, so we had to look at nurseries. My daughter has been there well over a year now and we haven't looked back. My biggest love for the nursery is the staff, they are incredible
and really treat the children like their own. The Covid-19 controls that were introduced have been safe, enforced and above all else realistic. Would definitely give the nursery five stars.

I cannot tell you how much of a paranoid first-time mummy I was when I first came to the nursery. All of the girls are absolutely fantastic and my daughter loves them. I needn’t have worried because they are excellent with her and so patient with me and my many questions. Their professionalism is second
to none and they genuinely care for our children. There is always an activity going on and I get regular updates about what my daughter is doing throughout the day. Each key worker has three children which I think is a perfect ratio. I would highly recommend the nursery and have to say a huge huge thank you to every one of the staff who have taken care of my daughter, I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!

This nursery is fabulous. My first child has been here just over there years, my second has just started. My oldest has loved every room she's been in and we have felt that she is so well looked after. The staff are friendly and approachable. My baby has just started. As a 'pandemic' baby I was a bit
worried about her settling in but the baby room team have been phenomenal. Queries have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently by the management team. I cannot fault them at all.

Fantastic nursery, all the staff are friendly, warm and make the children and the parents feel like it’s home from home care. The baby room is amazing and I have enjoyed watching my baby’s development blossom. The pre-school three is outstanding and my daughter has gained so much confidence with pre-school
spellings and numbers. The nursery has fantastic facilities for all age groups to enjoy and the app is brilliant, I love getting progress updates and photos. Can’t fault the nursery or staff.

The nursery has had my child since she was ten months old and she is now four, I cannot praise them enough. Any concerns raised are dealt with appropriately and my daughter just loves going to nursery. The key workers are kind, compassionate and enthusiastic and take on board everything they are told
about my child and her needs. My child has allergies and this has been closely managed and the manager is always willing to talk to you and deal with any issues raised as well, giving support where necessary. I can’t thank the nursery enough for how my child has blossomed into a beautiful caring individual. Thank you Busy Bees at Spital.

My little girl and baby of eight weeks started at Busy Bees at Spital in September. They have grown and developed so much in such a short amount of time, all due to the incredibly caring and hard-working staff members throughout the nursery. My children love coming to nursery and always come home saying
new words or with something lovely to show Mummy and Daddy. I love being able to have up to date, regular observations on my children so I know they are on track and its always nice to see what they get up to on a day to day basis. I would highly recommend this nursery to family and friends who want a safe and nurturing environment for their little ones to grow and thrive.

I really do love this nursery. It’s now my youngest child’s turn to experience the magical years there. From the moment she started, she absolutely loves it! I know the staff anyway from the 5 years my eldest spent there and it’s just even more special to be doing it again. The staff have welcomed my
youngest as they did my eldest and care for them so much. The staff mean so much to our little ones and they form such lovely relationships. The nursery is a happy, bright and friendly place. If ever I need to discuss anything, I can, and the staff are more than willing to help. The nursery adapted very well to the pandemic too. As parents we do really miss entering the building, seeing other parents, hearing children having fun, seeing the children in their rooms. However, we understand why. The new communication system, ParentZone is in my opinion the best one yet. I see photos of the room/activities and my child. I know throughout the day what she’s eaten, nappy etc. Fantastic!

My children thoroughly enjoy coming here since attending they have come on so much.
I wouldn't dream of sending my children anywhere else, they love it that much they always ask on their days off if they can go.

Daisy and Jake has really helped my son come on leaps and bounds, his understanding about new things is amazing all thanks to the staff and the all-round teaching and learning. Daisy and Jake staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My son has learnt so much whilst being at nursery. Also, they are really good with ensuring my son is always happy when in nursery and I always get to take home a lovely picture that he's made for 'mummy and daddy'. He eats a lovely variety of

My daughter's keyperson is really good. She supports her in all areas of learning. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends. I find the management is very helpful when I need extra sessions. They go that extra mile to support me as parents.

Today is our son's last day at Daisy and Jake, Spital after 4.5 yrs. It truly is the end of an era. He’s loved every second of his time there and formed such close bonds with the staff, especially key workers. The education and care provided is exceptional, and the safety and security of all the children
is always paramount which certainly put our minds at rest. Our son started at just 10 months old and has developed over the years moving through the different rooms in a safe and fun environment which has been brilliant to see. Every move was handled so smoothly with no upset.
Thanks to all staff for the amazing job you do and especially to our son's key workers over the years in the baby room, toddlers and preschool rooms and also to other key workers with a big influence - We can’t thank you enough for helping him grow into the amazing big boy he is and getting him ready for big school! Thank you.

My daughter enjoys nursery and always comes in and out of nursery happy.
My daughter loves joining in with activities and playing with her friends.
My daughter has a great relationship with her key worker, as well as other baby room staff.
My daughter is in the process moving through to toddler room
and I have no worries as I've spoken to and met her new key worker and feel comfortable leaving her in her new room next week. The girls are excellent.

My daughter really enjoys coming to nursery. She's grown up with supportive and encouraging staff throughout her experience. Hello, my name is Laura and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Wirral Spital.


I am a fully qualified Early Years Educator and I have worked in early years for many years now. In addition to this, I have a degree in BA Hons Education Studies with Physical Education, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Teaching and Learning. During my years at Busy Bees, I have been provided with many opportunities and experiences to enhance my knowledge and ability to be able to provide children with the best possible care and learning opportunities to give them the best start in life. I also have many years experiences of supporting children with SEND and supporting them in every way I possibly can.


I am committed to giving every child high-quality care and learning experiences to ensure they have the best start in life.
