Daisy Chain Childcare Lofthouse is purpose-built and was opened by the group on 2008. Gardens for outdoor play, a sensory room and a community room are some of the additions that the innovative design included to make the most of all children's early years learning potential.

Sheltered outdoor area allows the nursery professionals to ensure that active play thrives, while there is even a 'magic garden' where children can learn more about growing fruit and vegetables.

My daughter has been going to Daisy Chain Lofthouse for nearly a year and a half now - she started at 7 months of age - and I cannot overstate how happy we are with their service. The staff here are lovely and friendly, and take very good care of our toddler. With the experience of having sent our daughter
to another nursery for a few days in the beginning, we can say for sure that Daisy Chain Lofthouse's staff set the nursery apart. We get the feeling that everyone here genuinely loves being around children and caring for them - as against this just being a job for them (which is what it felt like at the other nursery).
Both the key workers my daughter has had till now (in the two rooms she has been in) have been wonderful. Their attention to detail is impressive, which has been a major factor of comfort for us, especially as our daughter has some medical needs that often require regular care. Nothing's too difficult for the girls at Daisy Chain Lofthouse, and they do it all with a smile, which makes me less guilty/embarrassed when I have to make frequent requests for special care.
Also, it gladdens us that our little one's keyworker pays attention to her likes and passions, and routinely gets her to do activities she enjoys. And there are days when our daughter would refuse to get back home as she's having too much fun at the nursery!!
Another aspect that we love here is the daily online update which has become even better now with a new system in place. It's great to see pics/videos and exchange comments with the keyworker easily. In addition, the staff are always happy to give you updates over the phone. There have been times when I have been trigger-happy in dialing them up half a dozen times within a day, and they responded with care and empathy each and every time.
In summary, we find it a great place for our little one to spend her formative years. Highly recommended!

Our daughter loves her time in nursery and the staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The nursery is very well equipped offering a wide range of activities and a great selection of healthy meals.

Absolutely wonderful nursery with fantastic staff who really go out of their way to get to know the children. Activities are built around the interests of the individual children and staff go out of their way to help children settle as they move through the nursery. My daughter loves going to this
nursery and has had a great relationship with all her key workers and is always ready to tell me what fun things she has been doing throughout the day, I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son is about to start school following 2years at Daisy Chain. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, they have been brilliant, so warm and welcoming. They do a good mixture of play and learning activities, some lead by current children's interest. They have always been approachable and
supportive to both my son and us as parents! We are all really sad not be go going any more!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Our little boy has his last day today before going to school and we'll all be very sad he's leaving. He has been so well looked after, has learnt so much from his 2 years here and has become a very confident little boy. The girls here make lots of time for
both one to one time and time spent in groups and seeing his progress each week has been fantastic. I think we have the only child who doesn't want to come home on a night because he's enjoying himself so much. The Manager and her team are fantastic both with communication and keeping our children safe in this fantastic environment, both indoors and out. They also have a dedicated chef who cooks all meals from scratch each day with fresh ingredients and we're always amazed by what our little boy eats. I can't recommend enough.

Excellent feedback re my child's experience, development. She loves nursery and all the staff. Furthermore we are always 100% happy she is safe, enjoying herself and being looked after. All staff are great and professional.

I had never used a private nursery prior to sending my youngest child here at 1 year old. My other two children went to a childminders.
I looked at several nurseries for my son, some of which I was not comfortable with but felt immediately at ease when I walked into this nursery. All the children
looked happy and content, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked all the individual rooms and all the equipment on offer to the children.
My son has now been going for 2 years and has come on leaps and bounds so much so I have just managed to secure an extra day for him even if this means I no longer have my day with him!
The activities that are done with children are fun and educational and all the staff are lovely. They also involve the parents in lots of activities like sports days, Mother's Day Afternoon Tea etc which are all great fun and the children seem to enjoy it when the mums and dads go in.
Initially I was worried my son would not receive enough 1-1 attention with it being a nursery environment but I have been proved wrong!
If I had another child (unlikely) or knew someone wanting an excellent nursery I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

My daughter has been attending nursery since April 2015 and has settled in extremely well. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. A good range of food and activities are offered. I feel attending the nursery will help with my daughters development and social skills.

Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help. They go the extra mile with all the children, especially when the children are overcoming a development milestone, they offer encouragement and support. My son absolutely loves going to pixies everyday and is a different person for doing so, he is
so sociable with others and always shares toys and food, this all a credit to the girls at Daisy Chain!

I have been very impressed with my daughter's care whilst at this nursery. The only reason I am moving my child is because I needed an additional day and they didn't have availability due to being so popular! The staff are very friendly and professional and made a great effort to get to know me and
my daughter personally. Particularly when my daughter was struggling to adjust to being at nursery the staff went the extra mile to help her settle in well and she soon loved it. The nursery has great facilities and is very clean.

I thought I will let you know how happy we feel about your staff member as our key worker for our daughter. The minute she walks into the room she picks her up and gives her a cuddle. Our daughters face glows with happiness whenever she sees her. Our key worker gives attention to detail to every single
little thing we say to her. I have seen her running around and playing with our daughter many times, just like a kid and I think our daughter is very comfortable and happy around her. Every time I drop her off with her key worker, I feel she is in safe hands. We are very glad to have her as the key person for our little precious one.
