Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, located in Cheam, provides a wonderful service to local families. The home from home nursery caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years and offers experienced and qualified staff dedicated to supporting your child’s learning & development. The nursery is uniquely qualified to teach your children to swim from the age of 3 and support your child being active.

The nursery benefits from enclosed outdoor garden, recent refurbishment and extension, free childcare (funding hours), swimming lessons for over 3s, ample parking and a free gym membership with every full time nursery place.

Its childcare professionals have a caring, well-informed attitude and work closely with parents to ensure children can develop in a safe and fun environment. Parents are supported by a friendly, flexible nursery, within which their children are able to grow their pre-school skills.

The nursery day can be split into sessions. The morning session runs from 8am to 1pm, the afternoon session from 1pm to 6pm and full day sessions are from 8am to 6pm. They offer an early drop of session 07:30 - 08:00 and a late pick up session 18:00 - 19:00.

I would not recommend Nuffy Bear Day Nursery ever again.
They have some nice staff but the assistant manager and manager are very rude and unhelpful.
My child was regularly separated from his peers due to a speech delay. One member often made up false incident reports, which when reported to the manager
nothing was done.
My son sustained several injuries there including a fractured finger which the manager did not investigate. And when asked about other injuries the answer was always ‘staff never saw’.
All they want is your money and offer no support.
The majority of these reviews are fake as staff ask you to write them one month after your child joins.
The assistant would often call me stating I had outstanding invoices which were always incorrect as her math skill is one of a 3 year old and when questioned she would lose her temper, shout and hang up the phone which is extremely unprofessional.

My daughter started at Nuffy Bear Cheam in Autumn 2023 and we have had a great experience so far. The staff have been amazing and really helped her to settle in and always very happy to help answer any questions. They go above and beyond to plan fun and educational activities, even putting together
a Christmas party for the parents to attend. I can already see how much my daughter has progressed since she started. They have also been super mindful of any dietary requirements, which is very appreciated. Thanks Nuffy Bear!

I have been so impressed with everyone at Nuffy Bear Cheam! My little one started at 8 months old and the staff have just been incredible! They are caring and supportive and I get regular updates during the many great activities they provide! I am so pleased I chose here for my daughter! The extra events
they organise to include us as parents too are lovely, the Christmas party was great!

The nursery has been so amazing settling my son, the girls have been so attentive with his needs and it’s such a lovely atmosphere of children laughing and playing. Having updates on his settling has been so heart-warming and makes my transition to go to work a lot easier!

My daughter has recently left after being at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam for the last 3 and a half years! I cannot explain enough how fantastic the manager and her team are! From Christmas shows to learning the care that they provide is second to none! My daughter loved every single one of the team
and when it came to the last day me and my other half were beside ourselves! Thank you for being so instrumental in our daughter's early life, if there was a sixth star it would be coming your way!

Where to begin with Nuffy Bear Cheam?! All I can say is a huge thank you to the nursery manager and all of her team. My daughter has just left in August ready to start school this September. She joined the nursery as a 1-year-old and is leaving as such a smart, intelligent, kind, caring 4-year-old.
They have allowed her the best start for her education journey and I’m actually sad it’s over. If she could’ve stayed at Nuffy Bear I would’ve been more than happy!
Genuine 10/10 would recommend the nursery to anyone.

My daughter has just graduated from Nuffy Bear in Cheam where she has attended for the last 3 years. She has had the most amazing experience there. The staff are just brilliant and my daughter built such a lovely relationship with them. She has come on leaps and bounds with their guidance and care and
is well and truly ready for school. The activities that they put on and events are fantastic and they always try to involve the parents in these too. It was so lovely to see what my daughter was doing on a daily basis with the updates on the app. I loved being able to interact by leaving a comment or liking a photo. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Everything about Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is wonderful. The staff go above and beyond to provide the best care. They are such a lovely team and all make such an effort to get to know each child and the communication with parents is fantastic. We always receive updates on progress and achievements and
the team are always coming up with new and fun activities. The nursery setting is excellent and it has a great outdoor space so the children are very active. Our daughter is learning so much and loves coming here and has made so many friends. She has formed a lovely bond with her key worker and all of the staff, they are all wonderful. We want to thank them all for everything they do.

Our son has been through the baby room into the toddler room over the last sixteen months. Absolutely lovely nursery. Friendly and helpful staff, keep us informed at all times. I could not recommend Nuffy Bear highly enough. Every single member of staff has been fantastic towards my daughter, particularly her key worker and the manager. My daughter has been there for 8 months and could not love it more - every day she stands at the door with her nursery bag, ready to go. The
staff have gone above and beyond over the last 8 months developing my daughters’ social, emotional and educational skills with fun activities; she’s now a confident adventurer and the staff have really nurtured this for her. The food appears to be good and well-balanced and staff communication with parents is good. Every member of staff knows your child and that really brings a sense of family to the nursery.

My son has been attending Nuffy Bear Cheam since April 2019, I can't fault Nuffy Bear or their amazing team for the care provided to my child. His key worker is great with him and is also great at feeding back to me and my partner on our son's progress. He has come on so much since attending - socially
and academically! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a placement for their child!

My daughter has been going to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and has loved it from the day she started. The nursery has so many different facilities that aid the children in learning and encouraging playing independently but also making good friendships with other children. My daughter
has learnt so much from nursery thanks to all the staff at Nuffy Bear. They go above and beyond when it comes to special times of the year such as Christmas plays, Easter egg hunts and teaching the children all about the different cultures of the world religious events. The nursery staff have been excellent throughout the lockdown as I have been working throughout Covid. The staff have been so accommodating and are like a big family. I’ll be sad when my daughter leaves for school but wish them all the luck in the future with expanding more and being great for the next children who attend the nursery.

My son started here in April, he has thrived here. Speech and fine motor skills have come on leaps and bounds can’t thank the whole team for all the hard work and making my son feel most welcomed.

Our two sons joined Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam last summer and we couldn’t be happier. The management is professional, caring and through the ups and downs of this past year we have felt well-informed and understood. The development of the children is good and the regular telephone parents’ evenings
provide an opportunity to see how they are progressing. The amount of space the children have is fantastic and our boys love spending their days running around on the field or learning new activities in the studio.

I just wanted to write to say thank you for coming to the rescue during the time of pandemic as my daughter’s nursery had shut down and we had no childcare. Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam was so flexible with our changes of shift, as me and husband both are NHS workers. My daughter loves attending Nuffy
Bear Day Nursery Cheam and has been for nearly a year now. She settled in in no time and that's because of the wonderful and caring staff, providing a safe and nurturing environment. I've found that all staff are warm and friendly and encourage the children. I felt I was able to go to work knowing that my daughter is safe, happy and well cared for. I felt it is important to let you all know what a fantastic job you're doing. Our daughter enjoyed coming to nursery and always asks if she is going.  She has made lots of friends and enjoys seeing the staff and talking to them. The staff are all friendly and will talk to you about how she has been and what she has been doing. We will be definitely going back to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery with baby number two.
