Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, located in Cheam, provides a wonderful service to local families. The home from home nursery caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years and offers experienced and qualified staff dedicated to supporting your child’s learning & development. The nursery is uniquely qualified to teach your children to swim from the age of 3 and support your child being active.

The nursery benefits from enclosed outdoor garden, recent refurbishment and extension, free childcare (funding hours), swimming lessons for over 3s, ample parking and a free gym membership with every full time nursery place.

Its childcare professionals have a caring, well-informed attitude and work closely with parents to ensure children can develop in a safe and fun environment. Parents are supported by a friendly, flexible nursery, within which their children are able to grow their pre-school skills.

The nursery day can be split into sessions. The morning session runs from 8am to 1pm, the afternoon session from 1pm to 6pm and full day sessions are from 8am to 6pm. They offer an early drop of session 07:30 - 08:00 and a late pick up session 18:00 - 19:00.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam has been absolutely amazing for my little boy, especially during the pandemic. The whole team have so much compassion and love for the children, and it is very much mutual; they really do go above and beyond to create a happy learning environment for the little ones, which
also includes lots of fun, which is a great introduction to education for them. I feel so confident when my son starts school, he will have an easy transition, and that is all thanks to the girls.

My little boy started nursery for the first time in April 2020, whilst in the midst of a pandemic. However, I can't fault the team at Nuffy Bear Cheam and the standard of care they have provided my little boy. He absolutely loves going and has come on leaps and bounds since starting! As a first time
Mum, it was daunting sending him to the nursery, but my son quickly settled in and formed a lovely relationship with his key worker, which made it so much easier for us both. I receive regular observations and communications with regards to his progress, I love getting the little updates and knowing what he's up to when he's there.
I can't recommend Nuffy Bear Cheam enough - if/when we add to our family, I wouldn't think twice about them attending also.

I chose this nursery because the welcome we received wasn’t like any of the others we had experienced. It felt personal and they showed real interest in my son (it didn’t feel like we were just another number). The nursery manager tailored the settling in period which put me at ease and my son settled
in really quickly. He’s been there around 9 months now and is extremely attached to his key worker. We receive regular written reports on his development and verbal updates each time we collect him. His development has been extremely impressive. I was particularly drawn to the fact that they spend lots of time outdoors. They have a small play area but also have use of the sports playing field which they explore daily. They also often take the children up to the sports hall to play games which my son loves. I would highly recommend this nursery. All the staff members are really friendly and show great affection to all the children. I can’t thank them enough for looking after my son.

My daughter has been here for just over a year now. She has come on so quickly!
The staff all care about her and always take the time to give me feedback! They are bubbly and hard working.
My daughter comes home happy and always likes to tell the family about her day at nursery with all her friends
and teachers.
I get updated monthly with all her learning and progress and love seeing her work.

I couldn’t be happier with the nursery and how the staff care for my daughter. I feel totally at ease with her being there and have no worries at all. My daughter loves it there and has learnt so much already. The staff are fantastic and super friendly. Every day I get a breakdown of what my daughter
has done and learnt. 10/10.

From the very first moment, Nuffy Bear Cheam has been like an extended family. The support, care and nurture from the staff has always been amazing and our daughter has loved every minute. My Daughter has been coming to this Nursery since she was 13 months and she will be leaving this year for school, each teacher has been amazing and good at adapting to her needs, she’s made some good friendships with the staff as well as the children. My youngest will be starting in September when she
turns 1 as I’ve never had an issue and their always on hand to help especially through the tough times with COVID.

My son started at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam in May 2019 when he was 15 months. The staff were patient with both myself and my son, they understood that I was nervous about leaving him for the first time and didn’t mind me calling to check on him.
He comes home smiling every day talking about the
different staff members children and activities he has done and even asks to go see the staff at the weekend.
He has just turned two and although he is finding it hard adjusting to not being in baby room any more the staff again have been brilliant.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough, the nursery manager and staff have exceeded our expectations in the service they provide and we are very pleased with this setting for our child. I am confident my child is being properly cared for, nurtured and the social and emotional development of his progression
has improved leaps and bounds since we brought him to Nuffy Bear. We are very grateful for the support and effort put by all the staff. I will also add that I strongly believe the success of this nursery is down to the Nursery Manager and her devotion to the children (who all absolutely adore her).

My son started Nuffy Bear in May 2018 doing 2 days a week. He is always welcomed in by a member of staff, which is always with a smile. He is always interested in doing a range of activities which Nuffy Bear provide eg for Halloween, Christmas and things as part of daily life eg making models of mouth
and teeth. As a parent, I am very happy with my son's progress since starting Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam.

My Daughter had been attending Nuffy Bear Nursery from 9 months old until 4 years when she started school. I found incredibly hard to let go, worried about finding a nursery I would feel was safe for her etc. When I came across Nuffy Nursery I was instantly pleased and felt happy to leave her in their
care.


My daughter has always come home happy, there has never been any concerns about the staff or her safety. They really do care about the children. She had a great time at nursery, which has ultimately prepared her for school. I am very happy with this nursery and if I had another child, I would send them here again.


Thank you for putting my heart a ease and taking the worry out of other people looking after my child.


The only criticism is the outdoor space, this looks tired, haggard and a bit dank. The nursery recently had had a total re-vamp inside and the outdoor play desperately needs a complete facelift! This is the only thing letting the nursery down!
