Our son is three this week in July he started going to Daisy Chains in January 2024. From the start, it went extremely smoothly. My civil partner and I visited the nursery together to look around and were made to feel very welcome.
When he started I went for two, two-hour sessions to play with my
son and get a feel for Daisy Chains. It made me feel very at ease. I was able to ask lots of questions and chat with the staff and see how they interacted.
It is also easy to contact the nursery, as there are various different ways and we always get a prompt reply. I feel everything is safe and secure and we are reassured by how the building is set out.
In terms of the activities he does, he loves playing outdoors and every day says he has been outside. He also does baking, painting, and drawing and brought home a sweet picture for Mother's Day.
We would highly recommend Daisy Chains as a nursery. We have observed and are reassured that our son is happy and well cared for and is fully supported.

My two children have been coming to Daisy Chains since January 2024. The kids both love to come. We are always greeted with a lovely warm welcome from the staff. I always feel the children are well looked after and happy. We are always kept up to date and communicated with well. We appreciate the Newsletter
we get. The staff are always keen to let you know that they are open and accessible to any questions or feedback. I would definitely recommend it to other families.

We are very happy with the way our daughter has settled into nursery. She struggled to begin with as starting nursery was a huge change in her little life. She found it difficult to adjust to the long hours away from us. But all the staff at Daisy Chains were exceptional with the care and support they
gave to help her settle in and really had her best interests at heart. Not only to help our daughter adjust but also to help me as a mum who was upset and struggling myself leaving my little girl at nursery for the first time. She now really looks forward to going. She walks in with a smile on her face and always talks about what a great day she's had when we pick her up. You've created a supportive, friendly and safe environment for our little one, she has grown in confidence, learnt lots of new things and progressed really well. I always feel 100% confident that she is safe and being well looked after, and I can tell she feels happy and secure in your care. All the staff at daisy chains are brilliant, Thank you

I am really impressed with how my daughter settled into nursery, prior to starting full time she had some settling-in mornings where she went to nursery for a short time before starting fully to ease her into the transition. This worked well for her as prior to nursey she had only stayed with family
while I worked. I feel that daisy chains communicate well with parents, they have a newsletter which contains all relevant information and reminders. She also received a report on her progress which I found useful, to know how she's developed whilst in nursery. It was very person-centred, the information which was in the report you could tell that the staff know her well. They have a social media page which they will update with photos of what the children have been doing that day. She will also come home with paintings and pictures she has done which is nice to see. She looks forward to going to nursery, she has a smile on her face and will often ask me if she's going to nursery today.

I just want to send a quick review to thank you and your staff in regards to supporting my son day in day out. It has been a very stressful few months for me and dad after we made the decision to not keep him back a year and put him in school in September. Thank you for your continuing support to my
son and getting him his EHCP paperwork in at short notice I can't thank you enough. Without this fantastic paper work we wouldn't have been accepted, with your in-depth detail we are so grateful for everything you have done and continue to do. My son has become a different child since coming to your nursery, I feel so happy and calm since sending him to Daisy Chains as we had a different experience at the start when he went to the previous childminder he is having fewer meltdowns at home and we feel he is more included in activities during the day at Daisy Chains with picture he brings home and crafts.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Daisy Chains for making Layton & Myles' nursery transition so inviting and welcoming. My boys have developed so much socially and academically since they have been at DCs. My son can now write his own name and he now uses numbers letters to help him
start to read and understand basic numeracy such as 1 + 1 and 2 +2. Both boys feel safe and secure within the setting and they have both grown close bonds with their key workers. The confidence I have seen develop in both of my boys is incredible. As parents we trust you with the most precious things in our lives. A responsibility that's not taken for granted, your enthusiasm and motivation to look after our children is fantastic. Thanks for being amazing!

My daughter has been coming to Daisy Chains since January 2023. She settled into the nursery really well after successful transition visits. When my daughter started I shared my own concerns about her development with staff and I felt listened to and supported from the very start. Following initial
assessments, staff ensured all relevant referrals (such as Speech and SCI) were put into place to support her. I have ongoing regular communication with the nursery and they ensure I am fully involved in every stage of my daughter's SEN journey. My daughter is always so excited to go to nursery. All members of staff are warm and welcoming and they offer a wide range of activities to suit all levels of learning, whilst working hard to establish positive routines to prepare children for school life. I am so glad I chose Daisy Chain's for my daughter and would highly recommend the nursery to others.

My little boy is currently at Daisy Chains. When he started nursery he was shy, quiet and would not interact with others. In the 2 years he has been at Daisy Chains, I personally have seen a huge change. He is making friends and is not the shy little boy he once was. They have helped him so much and
I feel confident that he is ready to go to school with no issues. The staff are lovely and friendly and I've been kept up to date along the way. Daisy Chains are an outstanding nursery, that I would have no problem recommending to all family and friends.

Daisy Chains have been amazing with my kids, my two older ones went here a few years back and now my little boy. He has had big problems settling in but finally got there with the great help from the amazing staff there, thank you so much.
