Northcote House Nursery is a private daycare nursery.

Northcote House is situated on Salcott Road. At their last inspection in July 2023, the nursery was awarded a Good from Ofsted.

The nursery is open full-time from 7:30 am – 7:00 pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

Children are encouraged to develop and build upon their abilities in all areas of learning and take pride in their achievements.

Children quickly gain independence, self-confidence and an enthusiasm for learning. The innovative and exciting curriculum encourages the children to develop all the characteristics needed for effective learning.

The nursery works in partnership with parents to prepare children for entry into well-regarded schools in the local and surrounding areas.

The nursery has been completely refurbished and the rooms are equipped with state of the art educational resources, providing environments rich in exciting and engaging learning opportunities and experiences which are tailored to meet children's individual interests.

The nursery's chef prepares all the children's meals fresh on the premises each day.

We viewed many nurseries in the area before choosing this one. The warmth of the staff was key for us; all of the staff made us feel welcome on our initial visit. This has then continued throughout us joining the nursery. My child’s key worker is always available for me to talk to and informs me of
my child’s day. The activities on offer are great; my child never wants to come home. The nursery is clean and well resourced.

My child certainly loves the nursery and so do we. There are lots of positives about this nursery. The manager and staff team are amazing, so caring and wonderful. My child’s key worker gives me detailed accounts of my child’s day. Resources are plentiful and the environment is clean. Food is nutritious.

Magnificent nursery, so many wonderful things to say. The manager is so friendly and shows an interest in my child and is very reassuring. The staff are so caring and lovely, outstanding care received each day, and the feedback is thorough. The nursery is extremely clean and well resourced. The food
is out of this world; very varied and nutritious. I’m so happy I chose this nursery for my child.

This nursery has gone from strength to strength. When I drop off in the morning there are always new activities set out. The change in management from last year has had a massive positive impact, not only on the staff but as us as parents too.
The environment is clean safe and well resourced.
A special
mention to the preschool room and the changes I have seen, I am very impressed, such as the roll-out of homework.

I regularly pick up my granddaughter from the baby room, all of the staff are warm, friendly and kind.
The room environment is outstanding and clean and there are lots of resources on offer.
I always get really thorough feedback from the staff about what she has done and what she has learnt.
The
manager is very friendly and always is helpful and shows an interest.
The food is very nutritious too.

This nursery is truly spectacular. The staff are kind caring and attentive.
The manager is very helpful and is flexible.
When picking up my child she is always happy and engaged. The children go on a variety of outings and take part in regular cooking. I love the garden activities and in the toddlers
garden they have had a new planter installed and we have been invited to come in and help plant it with flowers and herbs.
We are so very involved in our child’s development and feel valued as parents.

My child started at Northcote House in November 2019. The staff have been amazing at helping my daughter settle in and gave her a lovely book about the toddler room and who worked in there to help her settle in. They have made us feel very welcome and the staff are very warm and it is evident in the
care for the children. I would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

Staff are very attentive and know my child very well.
The manager is very welcoming and always greets us in the morning, and shows an interest in what my child has been up to the weekend.
Very clean and hygienic environment.

This is a lovely nursery and my son loves being here. The rooms look lovely and you can see a lot of hard work goes into making the different activities. My son really enjoys the cooking activities.
The manager is very friendly and always does her best to help accommodate your needs which me and my
partner have been very thankful for.

Wow! I went and visited this nursery with my daughter, as she was feeling very anxious about leaving her baby.
On entering the nursery the manager was friendly and very welcoming, she made us feel at ease from the onset.
The facilities are clean and rooms are well resourced.
We chose this nursery
as the staff engagement on the tour was second to none, all children were happy and engaged in activities.
All the staff said Hello to me on the initial tour, and now when I go and pick my granddaughter up from the nursery, they make a fuss of her they are always smiling and nothing is ever too much.
The menu is also amazing and I love the fruit bowl that is for the parents.
Highly recommend this home from home setting.

This nursery is the best in the area by far. It is an excellent environment for the children and the staff are so attentive to my child's needs. My son always tells me about the activities he has done. I love how they do cooking and go on regular outings. I highly recommend the nursery. You will not
be disappointed.

My nephew attends Northcote House toddler room and I have to say this nursery is fabulous. The activities available for the children look so beautiful and engaging.
I also love that each room has their own private garden so they can personalise it to the children in their room.
The staff in the room
are amazing and super helpful and give in-depth handovers which is great because when I’m picking up I’m able to tell my nephew's parents about a 'wow moment' (as they call it) my nephew has had and what he has eaten and slept, etc.
Personally I also like that the room leader is male and is providing a “father figure” to the children. Considering it’s a female-dominated industry I feel it’s really amazing to have this and he is very friendly and has lots of experience and knowledge which is great.
The manager is also so helpful and lovely. I was running late one day due to traffic and she was so helpful and supportive and told me not to worry or panic get here when I can as these things happen.

The staff have been so kind and caring, and our 2-year-old son has settled in really well. He loves the range of activities, the baking, the big garden and the regular outings to the park. His speech has developed very quickly too. He comes home singing new songs and talking about his friends and the
staff. He is now a happy boy when we say bye at drop-off, which is so reassuring for us!

Exemplary, this nursery has so many positives. First of all, the environment is of a high standard. My son comes home every day and tells me about what he has learnt and who he has played with. The staff are second to none, they are caring, professional and kind. The food is homemade and the chef is

My daughter loves coming to the nursery. Each day they do something different and my daughter comes home with exciting stories. She especially loves cooking and going to the common. The manager is out of this world and is always there to greet us with a smile.

The team goes into great detail to record and understand my son’s food allergy. This nursery is very flexible in terms of days and times. The staff there are lovely and my son enjoys his time at the nursery.

This Nursery is the best in the area. The experiences that the children are offered are exemplary. I really like that each room has its own garden, for the children to explore. The food is nutritious and the menu is well balanced, my child always talks about all of the delicious meals they have at
nursery, and always talk about the Chef. The staff are attentive to my child's needs and are always smiling and nothing is ever too much trouble. They go on regular outings to the library, Wandsworth common and other local amenities within the area.
