The whole staff team are amazing. My daughter enjoys nursery so much. She learns every day and we are so happy with how well the staff care and look after her, paying attention to detail. Great handovers, very informative.
The nursery is run extremely well and management are very accommodating.

An outstanding nursery in every sense. Staff nurture, love and shape little minds. They work long hours and are always smiley and professional. I always feel that everyone knows and loves my daughter and my views as a parent are always valued.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 9 months old and now he only has a few months left before going to school. I love the communication between the staff and parents and I always feel fully informed about what kind of day he has had. The nursery always goes out of their way to accommodate
my child if I needed to swap days with short notice. I always feel my child is being looked after safely and above all having fun! I already have recommended Kids 1st Gosforth to my friends.

My daughter is always made to feel really special when she arrives at the nursery. The staff are welcoming and caring and have an excellent link with home life. The activities are always varied and we are provided daily updates on their day and social wellbeing. Nursery staff are always available for
any advice and support.

Both of my children have been cared for at Kids 1st Gosforth.
The moment I stepped into the nursery, I knew that this was where I wanted to have my children cared for. The facilities are second to none in Gosforth, the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the standard of hygiene and cleanliness
is excellent. The staff are friendly and engaged and take an interest in my child. I would definitely recommend Kids 1st to family and friends.

Kids 1st is a really good nursery. Staff are very helpful and friendly. My child settled really quickly since the time she joined over a year ago. She also looks forward to going. The environment is neat and beautiful, friendly and safe too.

We have seen our child develop massively through being with Kids 1st Gosforth since 7 months of age. She has grown in confidence and in each room had someone she has bonded with and I always felt she is in safe hands.


I have always appreciated the common sense approach and Kids 1st Gosforth willingness

to take on some responsibility when she has been off colour but not ill, meaning I have been able to stay at work. I have no complaints.

I don't know how many children attend this nursery, however, the staff make you feel that your child is the most important person. They know your child almost as well as you do. When my little boy leaves in September I will be so sad our 5 years at Kids 1st Gosforth will be over.

Our little girl started at Kids 1st Gosforth in September 2017 and has settled in really well. The staff are friendly, caring and attentive. She gets involved in lots of activities and always seems to have enjoyed her day. She is a fussy eater but the staff are really patient and flexible with her,
substituting food with other healthy options if necessary.
The staff in her rooms have made a real effort to get to know her. Kids 1st Gosforth is such a fantastic nursery. I couldn't recommend it enough to other parents and often do.

Kids 1st Gosforth has given us peace of mind that our daughter is being cared for and experiencing quality, age-appropriate and engaging activities throughout the day. The staff are wonderful and invest a lot of time and energy in getting to know the children and making them feel confident and safe.
Our daughter has made a lot of progress since joining and we are kept up to date with all her learning goals - couldn't fault our experience, to have a happy child is priceless!

Sandra

Sandra Zafarani

Job Title: Centre Director

Joined: 2012

Hello, I am responsible for looking after the learning, development and welfare needs of all the children at Kids 1st Gosforth.  I will help your child settle into the nursery and ensure that they thrive in a loving, secure environment.


I have worked at Kids 1st Gosforth since March 2012, as a nursery nurse, I was quickly promoted to EYP graduate and then Deputy Manager.  Where I was later promoted to Centre Director.  I have many years of experience in a leadership role and have my foundation degree in Education and Childhood Studies.


I am a keen hiker and at the moment I am trying to complete all the Wainwrights before I move on the Monroe's in Scotland. My other passion is musical theatre and  I have two grown-up children and a small dog called Maggie.
