You and your child will love the bright and welcoming Fulham Wharf Day Nursery and Preschool. Designed with enriching activities and environments, expertly placed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Each age and stage is provided the best quality care and facilities. Babies enjoy a sensory room with toys that encourage their motor skills and curiosity, and benefit from a separate sleep room where they can recoup their energy for more learning. All children can take advantage of the brilliant IT and art studios, alongside the science lab. They even have a music studio with daily music classes to keep the creativity flowing.

I think after visiting all the nurseries in the SW6 area, the Active Learning is the best. In terms of learning activities, engagement of staff, loving care of the children in their care.
I am very, very happy.
I can't say enough good things.
Best childcare decision I ever made.

I have twin boys in preschool. They really enjoy all the different classes that the nursery has on offer, staff and management are very friendly and we really do appreciate the flexibility within the nursery.

My experience with this nursery has been amazing. The nursery has supported myself and my children, they have been very flexible as and when I needed them to be. Staff are always smiling and happy. The management team have been so accommodating to my needs as a working parent. I feel as a mother, it's

My son is currently at this nursery and I'm so impressed. Their care, welcome approach and love for both me and my son is wonderful. They are very flexible and approachable - special credit to the new manager (who I'm loving) and her team.

The nursery provided an excellent level of care in all aspects. I was very pleased with how happy my child was every morning to go there. My child has made great progress and I would definitely recommend it. Children are happy, thriving and learning every day. The staff are very professional and helpful.

We have two boys at the nursery and they couldn't be happier. They get cared for wonderfully with genuine love and affection from the staff. The facilities are first class with lots of space for the children to run, play and explore. Highly recommended.

Active Learning is an amazing nursery with lots of space, bright rooms, a large and well equipped outdoor area and most of all very caring and committed staff. The nursery gives the children warmth, a great environment and support for learning. We have had children here from 3 months through to preschool
and couldn't recommend the nursery more.

This is my son's first school and my son had a wonderful time for one year and a half. He learned singing, dancing, reading etc and enjoyed the school life so much.

My son started at Active Learning Fulham (London) when he was 1 year old and is now in pre school. The nursery has been absolutely excellent on all fronts during all his time there and still is. The facilities and outside space are unparalleled in the area. The staff have always been brilliant and very
accommodating. It's also always easy to discuss my son's development and all sorts of issues with the teachers as well as the management. All in all very happy with our experience here and highly recommend the nursery!

We love Active Learning Fulham, now part of Bright Horizons. Our children are so happy with the team. Every member of staff is professional, personable and compassionate. They really feel like a part of our family so make my kids really happy in their nursery.

Our daughter has been here since aged 10 months and has thoroughly loved it. We chose it for the long hours and tolerance of being one minute late! (I work in the NHS and can't always get away on time), as well as the facilities. The staff have been lovely throughout and the variety of activities and
spaces on offer in inner London has been fantastic. The admin side has been boosted by joining the Bright Horizons Group. Communication with parents is mostly at drop off and pick up although email updates are sent every so often. Communication is the one thing that could be better e.g. planning ahead for events and dates etc. Overall though, and importantly with the quality of childcare and education, very pleased.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Paola Testoni and I am the manager at Fulham Wharf.
I have been working for Bright Horizons since January 2015. I am originally from northern Italy and have been living in London for the past 25 years. I gained my NNEB Diploma in 1996 and achieved an NVQ Level 4 qualification in 2010 and have been working in childcare for over 20 years, gaining a wealth of experience in both the state and private sector and working my way up from Nursery Nurse to Room Leader, Deputy Manager and finally Nursery Manager in 2010.


I achieved my first Outstanding Ofsted rating in 2011 and this inspired and motivated me, even more, to continue developing such a rewarding and fulfilling career.


I absolutely love my job and I always go the extra mile to ensure that my team and I create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment supporting and challenging children to make the best progress they can.


Joining Bright Horizons has been a huge step in my career and I am focussed on being a contributing and effective member of a large and dedicated family wishing to make a difference to children’s lives.

I was born in Fulham and have lived there my whole life, where I met my husband and brought up a large family.


I have a Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and first started working in nurseries 18 years ago. After 4 years, I left because I found out I was pregnant with my 5th child. When my youngest son was 9, I then came back to work full-time at Active Learning I love coming to work every day, meeting the parents and learning about the children, every day brings something new and special.


I am very passionate about my job, I love to see what the children have achieved by the time they are ready for their next steps.
