Our twin girls started nursery when they were 20 months. The transition was easy and the nursery was flexible in adapting the settling period since we had just moved from Asia and their routine was going through many changes.
They are now 3.5 years old and are really enjoying their day. They love
their carers and have made many friends. When I pick them up, they are always busy and I usually have to wait 30 minutes before they agree to leave. The manager is always available and full of ideas about new activities. The staff is so nice and always paying close attention to the children needs. They organise a lot of activities for parents too so they can network and get to know other parents. I already have recommended this nursery to friends and would do it again as this provides the perfect environment to our girls. They will go to school in September and we will be very sad to say goodbye to all the lovely staff this summer. We will miss the nursery greatly.

The smiling face of my son and his excitement every morning when we go to the nursery speaks for themselves.
Caring and friendly nurses who are found of our little ones, a real relationship with the one that takes specially care of our son, a large scale of activities outside (it is just amazing to
have a garden AT the Nursery) and inside (yoga, amanda class action, french lesson...) for them to grow in a great condition, an amazing chef that would be worth 5 stars on a travel review website... I can’t be more happy of our nursery in Kentish Town.

Our daughter has been attending Kentish Town Day Nursery and Preschool for a number of months now, and we're very happy with our experience. The carers look forward to spending time with the children and show them genuine affection. Management is approachable, open to feedback and diligent about specific
dietary and other requirements for each child. The children, starting as babies, are regularly taken out to parks, libraries and the local city farm. Our daughter's motor and social skills have improved during her time attending the nursery, which we credit in large part to her attendance. The outdoor garden onsite is a huge plus.

Both of our sons attend the nursery, one in preschool and one in toddler room.
They both love their time there and they are very well looked after.
Lots of individual attention is paid to them and there are always many fun activities that they want to tell us about.
The EYFS coverage seems to be
excellent as they are always learning new things.
Couldn't recommend this enough.
Food is also excellent - and we enjoy the open days when parents can eat it!

Our son loves going to nursery. He loves the activities, especially messy play and playing in the garden. He has a fantastic relationship with not only his key worker but all staff, and he comes home telling us about his friends too. I personally enjoy hearing about their outings to the shops or seasonal
activities. The environment feels clean, tidy and spacious.

My daughter started nursery when she was 9 months old and loved it from day one! She is in the preschool room now and enjoys it more than ever! She has been through all three different groups (baby, toddler, pre school) and the care has always been brilliant. All the staff really know the children.
My
daughter has made really good friends and even considers the teachers her friends.
The food they provide is excellent and always fresh. My daughter loves everything their chef makes and regularly has seconds. Sometimes the kids even help prepare some of the food.
They do lots of fun activities, like yoga, dance and language “classes“ that are by special teachers that come into the nursery.
This truly is a great nursery and I couldn’t imagine my daughter going anywhere else. In fact, her little brother is already signed up and will start there soon!

Both of our sons are going to the Kentish Town Day Nursery and 1,000 characters wouldn't be enough to say how much we love it and recommend it. If I could only say one thing, it would be that I am a pretty anxious mum and having found the right place is very important to me, I can spend the day at the
office without any guilt or anxiety as I know the boys are having a blast. The staff is incredible, we don't tell them enough.

We have been very happy with Little Garden Nursery, Kentishtown. The staff is professional and organised, they plan wonderful activities for the children, and take great care of our little one. They are very warm and loving with the children and our child comes home happy and well looked after everyday.

Both our children are attending the nursery full time, 5 days a week, and we couldn't be happier.
The staff is just outstanding, but everything else is excellent as well, from the garden to the food and activities. Our eldest son joined the preschool room over a year ago, and has grown and learned
so much since then. Our youngest joined the baby room a month ago and it is the most reassuring thing to leave him everyday in such good care.
I would warmly recommend the Kentish Town Day Nursery to everyone.

Our youngest (now aged 2.5) has been at the nursery since 10 months old, and we were so pleased with the setting that we moved his older brother (now almost 4) there as well. Thanks to the caring and inspiring environment they have both thrived. I am amazed at the skills they have developed - be it
language, writing, motor or social skills - and I am certain it is down to the wonderful and dedicated staff.
Moreover, while a lot fussier at home (!), at nursery they both eat very well and enjoy the fresh, balanced and nutritious meals. The older one will really miss everyone when he heads to school in September!

Our son has been in the baby room since 7 months old, and we are extremely pleased with the care he has received at The Little Garden. In particular, we appreciate the knowledgeable and attentive staff, who ensure that the children are safe, happy and learning. I was particularly impressed at how smoothly
weaning to solids went for our son, as the nursery reinforced everything we were doing at home. Our son clearly loves the diverse menu and the on-site chef prepares homemade healthy meals.
They also do a great job of making sure that the parents are happy-- the opening hours are the best we have seen, and there are even activities for the parents to socialise with each other. We take a lot of comfort in being able to leave our son in the care of The Little Garden without any concern, as we know that he is in great hands.

Our son has been enrolled at Little Garden in Kentish Town since August 2017, from 12 months. He attends 3 days a week. It was very difficult at first leaving him off at nursery, but as we saw the joy the nursery brought him it brought us much comfort that he was in very capable care.


We have been

very pleased with the dedication of the staff and variety and developmental aspects of the daily activities. The communication among the staff is strong. The individual attention is impressive, allowing the kids to have enough independence.
We feel fortunate to have such caring individuals around our son and really are part of the family.

Our son started nursery when he was about 9 months old and it has been an easy transition from the beginning. The nursery is a warm and welcoming environment and each member of staff is professional and consistently positive.
Purposeful activities are planned and the kids are encouraged to try new
things and to take risks in a safe setting. Our son is happy to go every morning and he talks about his friends and carers at home. We believe it is a place where every child feels special and loved. I would recommend this place without any hesitation!

My son, who is now 3.5 years old, has been at the nursery since he was seven months old. It is a very loving, nurturing and stimulating environment. My son absolutely loves it there and the staff are like a second family to him. My mind is completely at ease when I leave my son there and going to work
without worrying about my son's care is priceless. The nursery itself is very spacious, clean and colourful and has a lovely big garden, where the children play happily for hours.
My son has been exposed to so many different fun activities such as music classes, sports in the park, French, cooking, science experiments, yoga and so much more. The nursery is very well run and parents are kept in the loop regularly of their child's progress. The opening hours are also excellent for working parents. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent!

Our son started at the nursery when he was 7 months old. As a parent, we have always felt carefully listened to throughout all stages of our child s development and throughout the transitions. The staff are great and show real care for the kids. Activities are diverse but also allow a lot of play. The
outside area is a real plus. Our son is currently in the toddler room and he loves it, as well as the people who take care of him - seeing him happy is probably the best proof!

We are extremely happy with the care our son receives at the Kentish Town Little Garden nursery. All members of the team show such dedication to the well-being and growth of the little ones. Our son (in the baby room) particularly enjoys the music, dance and singing activities, the messy and sensory
play, the food, and the social contact with his peers. I highly appreciate that his key person and the team provide such a nurturing and comforting environment while encouraging him to become independent (e.g. eating, walking), a step at a time with his individual needs and personality in mind. I also enjoy the thorough reports of daily observations at pick-up time, and the time the team takes to communicate with parents. Thanks as well for the highly accommodating opening hours, especially key for parents with a long commute.

My little one started here just before his 3rd birthday after moving from another local nursery.
The only regret was not finding it sooner. This is a warm and nurturing environment, with lovely, friendly caring staff who provide excellent support and care.
The staff and head are all personable, attentive
and professional.
The nursery has friendly hours for working parents and a wonderful in-house chef who prepares wonderful fresh food.
My little one has thrived in this stimulating nursery and is very proud of "Little Climbers". He loves the daily activities, creative arts and excursions which have all contributed to his development.

My daughter started the nursery at 11 months. The care she has received has been exemplary. In the 3 months she's been there she has thrived and is extremely happy on drop off and pick up. The team in the baby room are an incredible asset to the nursery. They are loving, kind, caring and I couldn't
feel more confident leaving my daughter in their care every day. Everyone is so personable, including the nursery manager, who's always on hand to help with anything. They have a great array of daily activities and external classes throughout the week too. I can't recommend Kentish Town Day Nursery enough. It's a home from home, warm, nurturing and friendly environment.

The professionalism and attentive care displayed by members of staff and management team at the KT (Kentish Town) little garden nursery is impressive and very reassuring. Our son is happy there and we see how the nursery is supporting his social, affective, cognitive and motor development, as every
week he does new things at home. As a part-time working mom this is a place where I feel my son is being very well looked after. The staff are always available for a brief phone chat so that I know how things are going that day.

Points = 1

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

My name is Lisa and I have been a Nursery Manager for over 20 years. My family are from Tuscany in the North of Italy and Bavaria in the South of Germany and I love to travel. I am a qualified teacher and hold a BA Hons Degree with a Qualified Teacher Status, but have always specialised in Early Years. I ran my previous nursery for 20 years and have been at Little Gardens since March 2020. The nursery is a very bright, busy and happy place with staff that have been here for many years. The atmosphere and staff team are second to none and our ethos will always be that our number one priority is to meet the individual needs of each and every child and keep them safe, stimulated and to provide the tools to nurture them to develop and thrive.

Hi, my name is Magdalena but people call me Magda. I am from Poland and I have been living in London since 2016. I always knew I wanted to work with children that’s why I chose Pedagogy at University. I completed my bachelor degree in Pre-school and Elementary Teaching and Masters in School Pedagogy. I gained my experience in different settings, I have worked in schools, nurseries and a psychological and pedagogical counselling centre in Poland. I love travelling and I managed to combine my two passions working for Thomas Cook Travel Agency. I lead a Kids Clubs in Croatia, Bulgaria, Rhodes and Mallorca working with children from all over the world. I came to London 4 years ago for an Au-Pair programme and I fell in love with the city. After finishing one year as a live in nanny, I got a pre-school room leader position in one of the nurseries in northwest London where I met Lisa, Kentish Town Nursery Manager. We shared the same passion for teaching and I can’t imagine working for anybody else. When Lisa said she was coming to work for Little Garden Day Nurseries, I knew I wanted to work with her. I have been working at Kentish Town Day Nursery for 9 months and I absolutely love the atmosphere, the team and the children. Their smiles, laugh, hugs and visible progress motivate me to do my best and to make sure that we as a team we provide a nurturing, caring and inspiring environment.

Hi, my name is Dominique, I’m Deputy Manager at The Kentish Town Day Nursery and Pre-school after being promoted from third in Charge.


I started as a part-time nursery nurse and have worked my way up. I champion safeguarding, policies and procedures and will support anywhere I am needed with complete confidence. I’m excited about what I can bring to the role as a Deputy Manager and all its challenges.
