Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool is conveniently situated on Elizabeth Terrace, just behind Eltham High Street within five minutes' walking distance of Eltham train station and all bus routes.

The passionate and dedicated team work together to provide a joyful, stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment, where children can play and explore, becoming confident and capable learners.

There are three light and welcoming rooms with a free-flow policy, which allows children to choose their own activities and follow their interests. Each room is plentifully equipped with age-appropriate resources and wooden furniture. Interactive whiteboards and touchscreen computers help children grow in confidence with IT as they learn about the world around them. The nurseries stunning garden offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. There is a sandpit and a planting area where children can grow flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Both our children attend Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace and we are absolutely delighted with the nursery. The quality of care and learning our children receive is superb.
What I like most about the nursery is how well the team know our children and how well we know the team. Our eldest previously
attended another larger nursery and it lacked the close connection between the staff that really comes across strongly at Elizabeth Terrace.
A new management team took over about 18 months ago and they have done a brilliant job bringing fresh ideas to learning and development. They are building a nice community feel where parents feel engaged. We get a huge amount of information about our children from the app. The chef is superb (I have tasted his food) and the meals are healthy and nutritious.
Most importantly our children are really happy. They have a wide circle of friends and are developing socially and academically. Elizabeth Terrace is equipping them so well for their next step.

My husband and I are very pleased with this day care. We looked at many options before signing up with them and we are glad we chose them. In just a couple of months our 11 month old baby has settled in and clearly enjoys it a lot. The care team in the baby room are fantastic, they pay close attention
to baby's needs and always take the time to give me a detailed update. Shout out to one staff member who our baby has quickly warmed up to - she puts my mind at ease and answers all my questions so patiently. The entire team do a wonderful job: four members of staff in particular and everyone who pitches in.
Management are lovely, warm people and also professional, very responsive, and supportive. Also the food is nutritious and clearly delicious, baby often eats better at day care than at home!
I especially liked that we did six settle sessions at the start of the process, slowly warming baby up to the nursery environment over six days.
Highly recommend this nursery.

Excellent nursery with experienced staff that knows the children under their care very well. There is a real palpable sense of teamwork, open communication and community spirit. Definitely rubs off on my child (18 months old) and all his nursery friends. 100% recommend to other families. P.s the chef
really cares about the food he cooks and knows all the children well.

We are very happy with our nursery. Our son started attending since he was 6 months old (full-time). He got a warm welcome and settled in with no problems. The staff are lovely, caring and responsive to parents' requests. Our boy has got a special bond with his key carer and we know he is well taken
care of when he is in the nursery. The carers organise activities also for babies so the day is interesting also for the tiny explorers. He loves the food too! We get lots of pictures through the nursery app so we know our son is having a great time there.

I couldn't be happier with the Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery! My baby started attending it one and a half months ago, when he was 11 months old. Before then, he used to be with me all the time, so I was concerned about leaving him with others. Now I can say that my baby loves going there, they do a
lot of activities, the environment is stimulating, the carers are very sweet and attentive to his needs. Since he started, he has made a lot of progress in a number of areas, such as body movements, independence and socialization. We can follow his daily activities almost in real-time as the carers write everything in the nursery app and upload photos. They also do a periodical development assessment to keep us updated on our baby's skills. My son loves his key person, carers, new friends and food! Really recommend this nursery!

We are so happy with Bright Horizons, Eltham Elizabeth Terrace Day Nursery and Preschool and would recommend it to our friends for their children. The team members are caring and attentive and are really creative in the activities they plan for the children. They also support and encourage our son to
explore and express his emotional skills as well as the traditional learning. Our daughter will also start attending in a few weeks and we feel the nursery is prepared and already thinking ahead to her starting. The management team is friendly and hands on with the children and their care. Since the new management team has joined, we've been delighted to see some extra activities like afternoon teas and visits from a fire engine and fire team. Thank you all, for all that you do.

Our daughter is in the preschool room and greatly enjoys her time while at the setting twice a week. She talks about her practitioners as 'my teachers' and her peers as 'students'. We are Muslims so she is served with a vegetarian menu. The staff is amazing and caring and listens to our concerns with
complete understanding. Parents are encouraged to go inside each room to drop off and pick up the child. We stay updated with our daughter's activities each day related to each area of development through photos and descriptions (shared through the app). We are quite contented with the quality of care our daughter has been provided with.

The staff and management are amazing at Elizabeth Terrace, my daughter loves her key person and they have such a good bond. The chef is very good at his job and shows passion for his food, my daughter loves it! My child is happy and settled and enjoys her day at the nursery. they provide a lot of activities
for the children and my other child who has special educational needs has been given love and support from her key person and the management team, this nursery is amazing for dealing with enquires and also supported the family. The staff turnover is not very high and all the staff show so much passion.

A very good nursery. My little girl is so happy. The staff are very friendly and professional. My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons for 5 months now and she loves it. The staff at the nursery are incredibly kind and friendly, you can tell how much our son loves nursery and enjoys being with the staff and other children just by how happy he is to see them when we drop him off in the morning, always reaches out for them to hold him. My daughter is very happy attending this nursery and I have no complaints. The staff are all friendly and caring. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care and confident she's being well looked after. There's a good range of activities that the children get involved in and my daughter has

the staff has remained the same throughout both my children attending, which says a lot about staff retention, and despite the Covid closure, the team has adjusted really well and maintained a good environment for the children without having any teething issues. My daughter has mild to moderate hearing loss, and the nursery has liaised well with my daughter's support workers and myself to make sure she has the best experience at the nursery. She was behind on verbal development, but the nursery has helped her develop so well. She absolutely loves nursery. When
I tell her she is going to go to nursery in the morning, she gets overwhelmed with excitement and joy. Bright Horizons Elizabeth Terrace is the place to leave your child in great hands. The staff are amazing, and so, so friendly! We love the nursery. Will be gutted when she has to leave to start primary school. 100% recommend!

We moved our daughter here from another nursery and were blown away by the difference. She settled immediately. The staff were fantastic about her dairy allergy, and provide a fun, safe and educationally challenging environment with her, where she does everything from yoga to sing and sign. She has
made lots of friends and enthusiastically talks about her keyworkers all the time. We love that there are also male workers, which is important. The menu is fantastic and varied. We really enjoyed the digital update book and seeing videos, pics and how she sits in the developmental charts. We love it so much, we have just enrolled her little brother to start and have recommended it to lots of friends.

Elizabeth Terrace has been such a great decision for us and our little girl. Since starting in lockdown, she has excelled in all areas of development. She has made special bonds with the other children in the baby room. She has always run through that front door every morning with a big smile on her
face, even greeting the staff with hugs. I could not feel happier knowing she is being so well looked after.

Wonderfully caring staff and a great atmosphere. My eldest left as a really confident and content child and my youngest loves the freedom to explore and play whilst also learning. His speech, toilet training etc have all come along great. Really pleased with my youngest’ progress.

Hello, my name is Chloe and I started working at Bright Horizons in 2016.


Whilst undertaking my degree in Education and Early years I always knew I wanted to work with Preschool aged children. I started as the lead in preschool and then went on to become the third in charge and then Deputy in 2019, and lastly, Nursery Manager in 2021. I thrive on ensuring quality is present within all rooms, allowing children to have a stimulating environment which is fun and exciting for them throughout the day. I have a strong belief in team appreciation and further developing the team with training and knowledge. I am excited to start this journey at Elizabeth Terrace and look forward to implementing new ideas, which will enhance learning experiences for all children.
